**What do you like best about Gotransverse?**

Gotransverse as a platform has so many features that make it a standout in the SaaS billing space. One area where the platform excels above its peers is its complex usage rating engine. I am yet to run into a business requirement that the native functionality cannot solve in the platform.

**What do you dislike about Gotransverse?**

While the General Ledger functionality is excellent and allows for a lot of flexibility, it currently creates bloat in posting rules, especially if you have several usage categories. This bloat can make rule management a bit cumbersome. There are also some performance issues related to data replication to the (snowflake) premier data access which causes some inconsistency in report data. This is largely related to the sheer volume of data in our instance, but the Gotransverse team is actively working on improvements to this.

**Recommendations to others considering Gotransverse:**

The platform has a lot of features and can do a lot of things. An adequately designed architecture is essential to tap into the full potential of the platform. Take the time to understand the nuances and best practices before jumping into implementation. Also, if moving from another billing system, don't try to replicate your legacy processes; evaluate if Gotransverse can solve those business needs in different ways.

**What problems is Gotransverse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a high-growth company, we are constantly supporting the launch of new products with varying pricing strategies. We require a fast turnaround for our go-to-market, and Gotransverse meets these needs. In addition, we require a platform that can sustain the high volumes of real-time transactions without any performance issues that can impact customers.

**What do you like best about Gotransverse?**

Flexibility in packaging subscription models with usage based models. 
Reliability of bill runs,
Ability to handle high volume usage.
Great access to senior leadership.
Extensive dunning capabilities.
Stored value service functionality. 
Multiple billing recurrence options and charge options (recurring, one-time).

**What do you dislike about Gotransverse?**

Limitations in discounting options. 
Lack of flexibility in invoice and account hierarchy setup. 
No role based access control.
Cumbersome to configure - difficulty in maintaining test and staging systems in line with production.
Difficulty getting roadmap timelines and long-lead time for new feature requests.
Standard reporting is very limited. 
Lack of self-service tooling for invoice template management.
Payment processor functionality is lacking for global payment methods.

**Recommendations to others considering Gotransverse:**

Have a clear understanding of your in-house business and back-office processes first before undergoing an implementation. The success of the implementation hinges on clear requirements, solution design and a shared understanding on all sides.

**What problems is Gotransverse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to onboard new revenue lines onto our Gotransverse solution to help consolidate across our organization. Where we have found significant gaps or delays - we are now focusing on developing these functionalities internally or with other partners. We find Gotransverse reliable in monthly invoicing and processing of orders, but many of our solutions have misused existing Gotransverse functionality which we now carry as technical debt.

**What do you like best about Gotransverse?**

- Ease of access to bill cycles
- Friendly and helpful GoTransverse Support team
- Account Detail pages for clients are neat and concise, without too much clutter

**What do you dislike about Gotransverse?**

- Not very fast with Chrome plugins
- Clumsy search function on Account Search page - searches must be exact and fully typed out, which is frustrating
- PDFs of invoices take a long time to download, at times

**What problems is Gotransverse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I wouldn't say I'm solving problems with Gotransverse itself.  GTV is simply a supplementary billing system that our company uses in tandem with Netsuite - it doesn't innovate or change up our billing processes, it simply exists in concert with Netsuite as a means of tracking our clients who are billed on direct GBD usage with our most popular media buying product.

Saas based Platform that provides flexibility in setting new products and configurations. Support provided to customers to reach the end goal.

Billing management
invoice customisation
quality of new features releases (by customer and GTV itself)
configurations are not packaged are totally reliant on manual setup
Bill cycle run restrictions on the platform
documentation requires thorough detail and updates based on the feature releases

**What problems is Gotransverse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to configure daily bill cycles on a per product basis.
Providing customer the flexibility to choose between a single invoice with multiple services  or seperate invoice for each service.

Creating a new billing system to process our invoices.  Streamlined the process within our system.

The user experience can be tedious sometimes, but the new UI seems to be slowly addressing that.

It allowed us to launch our service very quickly without a team in place.
It is very stable and easy to maintain.
The latest releases include a new UI and several interesting features that will make our lives easier.

**What do you dislike about Gotransverse?**

There were some use cases that were not covered for our specific market which required an initial development at the start.

**Recommendations to others considering Gotransverse:**

I have been using it for 5 years now so I know how to integrate it very quickly and it has recently added new features relevant to global subscription billing. It has the flexibility to provide multiple solutions for every use case.

**What problems is Gotransverse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is the billing system of the company which handles automatically all subscription billing for more than 30 payment methods across 20 countries.

The platform is great and their service and support is second to none. A really great partner that worked closely with us to implement a great Billing solution for our business. Highly recommend as a partner and as a platform for your Billing & Collection requirements.

The system runs in the background of our day to day and is reliable.

**What do you dislike about Gotransverse?**

Would like to have more flexibility in formatting invoices, like at the account level.  for example, customer ABC would like XYZ on the invoice or include custom fields on the invoice.

**What problems is Gotransverse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

replaced an outdated and unreliable internally built billing system.  Production Support no longer needs to manage and be involved in closing the month!

TRACT tool of GoTransverse takes very less time to sync with integrated tools

**What do you dislike about Gotransverse?**

Not at all user friendly. Doesn't carry relations between transactions. Doesn't give easy process to pull required transaction

This tool has got limited features. Lacks bunch of features including basic features.
