You can sync files and folders from remote computers using FTP or SFTP. It takes some time to acquaint and to realize how exactly it works so first time users can be difficult. You can create different "jobs" with different settings to suit your needs. You have the ability to exclude files based on wildcards, size and date/time. You can also visualize what would be synchronized before it happens and you can then change/cancel certain file synchronization if you want. In the several years I've been using it, I hadn't had any problem with it. **What do you dislike about GoodSync?** I don't use the software to it's full potential. There are several features that I don't need or use. Can be set-up to back-up instantly as as file is changed or do a daily/weekly back-up. Will back-up all drives, not just internal hard drive **What do you dislike about GoodSync?** I am completely happy with the product. I have no complaints. **Recommendations to others considering GoodSync:** Worth the cost. Can back-up all your drives, not just your internal hard drive. **What problems is GoodSync solving and how is that benefiting you?** Backing up files. GoodSync improves the user interface by applying tabs for different tasks. Unlike SyncToy, it has its own scheduler, so you don't need an external scheduler to make it repeat jiobs on a periodic base. In summary, a very useful application. **What do you dislike about GoodSync?** There is not much to dislike. It's user-friendly and easy to use. **What problems is GoodSync solving and how is that benefiting you?** Backing up code between different machines on a daily schedule.
