I use the app daily for both work and personal reasons. Keeping daily notes, meeting notes, personal diaries. A wide range of templates, covers and icons is available to use both paid for and free from the inbuilt store (I almost exclusively use the free ones). Saved notebooks can be bookmarked and searched. The spell correct function is also very usable for your handwriting (but I'm not a GP, not sure it can strtch to that LOL). **What do you dislike about Goodnotes?** Not so much a dislike, but very much hoping to see the latest Apple APIs in future updates to enable the new writing tools coming for iPad OS 18 **What problems is Goodnotes solving and how is that benefiting you?** Eliminates the need for paper notepads, and means that years of notes are instantly available to you. ### 4. The team are constantly adding new features to the app which makes me confident this won't turn into another note-taking app that just gets left behind. **What do you dislike about Goodnotes?** I now have a stack of post-it notes looking sad on the edge of my desk. I really have stopped using paper for almost everying apart from very quick, disposable notes. It's really good, but it would be perfect for construction use if you offered an add-on or another version that allows us to scale and measure architectural drawings. Please consider this suggestion. I started with Goodnotes 5 and I am on the updated version 6 of the app. The best part of the app I love is the ability to backup my notes on Google Drive. This means I have a PDF version of all my notes readily available anytime I need it. It's easy to use and has a very minimal learning curve. The ability to convert hand-writing to typed text is extrememly useful as is the ability to quickly switch between tools and colors when it comes to note-taking and presentations. GoodNotes integrates well with virtual meeting software (GoogleMeet, Zoom, etc.) and is useful as a whiteboard while screen-sharing. **What do you dislike about Goodnotes?** The only complaint I've had is the lack of greek letter recognition. I work with greek symbols frequently in my note-taking and courses. When using the writing-to-text, it would be nice to have the greek lettes appear. When handwriting notes, this is not a issue. **What problems is Goodnotes solving and how is that benefiting you?** GoodNotes allows me to sign business documents, acts as a whiteboard for online course instruction. It allows me to prerecord lectures and actively write on lecture slides (when combined with screen recording apps) rather than switching back and forth between screens/pencil and paper. While there aren't built in animations, I can quickly add in photos and move components around a screen or demonstrate motion with the laser pointer. ### 12. I use it daily for my digital planner, to write out my daily To-Do list, and to keep ongoing records of notes/recipes/etc. that I want to revisit later. GoodNotes allows you to create unlimited folders/notebooks and add as many pages as you'd like to each one. Your paper style and writing style/color is completely customizable and you can insert images/stickers to your notes as well. You can also import existing documents to Goodnotes and use their tools to notate. The best part? GoodNotes syncs across all of your Apple devices, so you are able to see your notes on your computer, phone, and iPad. **What do you dislike about Goodnotes?** The only downside I can think of is that to get all of the features I described, you do have to purchase the paid app. It is however very affordable at a one time price of $9.99. **What problems is Goodnotes solving and how is that benefiting you?** GoodNotes provides me with a user friendly platform to take notes and easily access them across all of my Apple devices. The developers continue to update the app by introducing new features and improving existing ones. **What do you dislike about Goodnotes?** There is no corresponding application on Windows or Linux that allows you to view the notes taken on the iPad in a synchronized manner. They are currently rolling out a beta version for Windows but it is a standalone one, it is not in any way connected nor synchronized with the one for iPad, which makes it useless. Only for MacOS is it possible to have such an app. **What problems is Goodnotes solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allowed me to take notes quickly and comfortably by eliminating all the notebooks or books I had.
