## Glassdoor Reviews
 ### 1. Glassdoor fails to enforce its review policies — ex-employees can post personal attacks & misinfo

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Weiwei D. | C, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Glassdoor?**

There’s really nothing positive I can say about it. To me, it comes across more like a social media platform where former employees gather to be hostile and seek revenge.

**What do you dislike about Glassdoor?**

As an employer with multiple flags submitted, we were disappointed that Glassdoor’s moderation process did not result in removal of a review we believe contained personal attacks and confidential company information. While we value open feedback, the lack of transparency in escalation or decision-making leaves us questioning the fairness of the process. We hope Glassdoor will provide clearer guidelines and faster resolution paths for reviews alleging defamatory language or privacy breaches.

**What problems is Glassdoor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This platform brings nothing of value anymore. While it once provided a recruiting service, it now seems to allow personal attacks and misinformation about companies to spread unchecked. Because of this, I consider it the worst place to advertise for talent recruitment.

 ### 2. Salary Transparency and Honest Reviews Make It a Must for Job Seekers

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you dislike about Glassdoor?**

Some reviews can be misleading or outdated so becomes an issue while researching

**What problems is Glassdoor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps in getting an idea about the salary ranges , understanding company culture and work life balance. For me glassdoor is the go to go place everytime i want to know about some organisation

 ### 3. Good Remote Openings, but Unverified Listings Make It Hard to Trust

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** LaShunda H. | Modsquad Contractor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Glassdoor?**

It has some good job opening for remote work.

**What do you dislike about Glassdoor?**

Some of the jobs being offered seem like scams and haven’t been verified, which makes it difficult to trust what you’re reading.

**What problems is Glassdoor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I haven’t noticed many issues being fixed so far.

 ### 4. Useful for Company Insights, But Setup Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mayur M. | Product Lead - AmbitionBox.com, Internet, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Glassdoor?**

I find the competition benchmarking on Glassdoor very useful. Their ratings provide insights into company culture and performance, helping me assess which companies might not perform well in the future. This information is crucial for my investment decisions.

**What do you dislike about Glassdoor?**

I find the initial setup of the account on Glassdoor to be complicated and tiresome. Linking my company page content was particularly challenging in the beginning. I believe this process could be improved to offer a better experience. Additionally, I wouldn't recommend Glassdoor on a daily basis, rating it at a three out of ten, indicating a certain level of dissatisfaction or reluctance to endorse it to others.

**What problems is Glassdoor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Glassdoor to identify companies at risk of shutting down by examining their ratings and reviews, which helps me as an investor to understand their competitive standing and culture.

 ### 5. My user experience with glass door

 ### 7. Excellent platform to see company reviews and search for jobs with greater certainty

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rivera Hernández L. | Analista de datos, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Glassdoor?**

What is most liked about Glassdoor is the combination of company reviews, salary information, interview details, and job offers. It allows users to get a clear view of company culture and make informed decisions in their job search, as well as see how the company's reputation stands.

**What do you dislike about Glassdoor?**

The information of some companies is outdated, which I believe happens due to the lack of visibility of the platform, not so much because the platform is "inadequate," in addition to the limited access to certain details behind a paywall.

**What problems is Glassdoor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Glassdoor solves transparency issues by offering employee reviews, salary data, and interview details, allowing users to learn about company culture, understand the salary range for specific roles, and better prepare for interviews. Additionally, by combining these tools with job listings, it facilitates more informed decision-making about the workplace and available opportunities, as well as helping to understand why a company has such a reputation.

 ### 8. A Must Have Site for Employer Branding

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven A. | Employment Brand & Recruitment Marketing Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Glassdoor?**

I like that Glassdoor encourages authentic feedback of companies from employees. We get considerable traffic from Glassdoor and are able to showcase our culture, open positions, and employee value proposition to countless visitors to the site. It's easy to setup, and is constantly introducing new features. We stay connected to Glassdoor weekly, to make sure our brand is being represented well.

**What do you dislike about Glassdoor?**

I don't like that emails for reviews require no verification. I would like to see Glassdoor implement having an affiliated email to leave a review, so that you cannot receive spam reviews from a singular disgruntled employee.

**What problems is Glassdoor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Glassdoor helps us control the narrative of what it's like to work at PatientPoint. Althought the occasional lower review comes in about our company, we have the opportunity to highlight how we plan to address any changes. Many candidates site visiting our Glassdoor page to learn more about the culture and interview process.

 ### 11. A place for disgruntled employees to leave reviews

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Glassdoor?**

I appreciated the idea of "allowing" me to share reviews based on my personal experiences at the company. The idea that I can leave one review a year, in line with their guidelines, is great because it lets me show how my feelings about the company evolve over time.

**What do you dislike about Glassdoor?**

Unfortunately, Glassdoor removed my personal reviews because disgruntled employees falsely claimed I was impersonating them. In reality, all my reviews were based on my genuine experiences and roles within the company. Not once did they try to contact me and let me know or even ask about my reviews. Just a removal.

Another frustrating aspect is that it seems like only those who are unhappy leave reviews. For instance, I’m leaving a review now out of frustration. This creates a skewed and biased company profile, which doesn’t accurately reflect the experiences of all employees.

**What problems is Glassdoor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving people a platform to speak their mind but also ruin credibility of a company because they in fact were terrible at their jobs.

 ### 12. My user experience with Glassdoor

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vivek R. | Division Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Glassdoor?**

Glassdoor is a very good job recruiting community platform for employees and freshers. It is also very good for company rating and can give every employee the inside story of company salaries work ethics etc. I love Glassdoor because Glassdoor employees share their opinions anonymously and this way any inside story is very correct. I have been a regular user since I took my job as operations Manager at Iifl through Glassdoor. For those companies that are well-rated at Glassdoor hiring is much easier for them.

**What do you dislike about Glassdoor?**

I am a regular user of Glassdoor and I find it pretty convenient to use It is free also and the platform is so big that I can get enormous information about jobs in different organizations. I haven't encountered any disliked features from Glassdoor.

**What problems is Glassdoor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I worked in a Financial Company at iifl samasta I have joined it from the Glassdoor job listing. Glassdoor is easy to access it's also free to users and gives me real information about the company's inside story and gives me more clarity to take the work for and join. With the help of Glassdoor Job searching is easy and I can get to know the work ethic or culture of the organization which is very important to improve learning Overall, it's a game-changer for an organization that needs valuable employees for their companies. Organizations that keep their employees happy automatically get the best rating through Glassdoor.

 ### 13. Capture far too much information before allowing you to do anything

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Glassdoor?**

While sometimes useful for getting info about working at a company, mainly it's just a place where folks go when they're disenfranchised and what to share negativity.

**What do you dislike about Glassdoor?**

It's excessively misleading. One negative review from a user far outweighs positive reviews. Additionally, the inability to do much at all without giving them your DNA (exaggerating, of course) makes the service worthless in my opinion.

**What problems is Glassdoor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are trying to give insight into a company's culture.

 ### 14. My user experience with Glassdoor

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Apeksha J. | Hospital Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Glassdoor?**

Glassdoor is a valuable and genuine platform where job seekers and employers share their reviews anonymously or verify both possible which is a very good thought for sharing your own experiences with different companies and organizations. It also helps our hospital to grow because there are a lot of employees who share their feedback and experiences with their jobs. It makes our hospital stronger with its ideology more talented people want to join us by reading those blogs. So I would say it feels great to be part of Glassdoor and to share genuine experiences that can be helpful to others.

**What do you dislike about Glassdoor?**

Till now I have not found any dislike thing about Glassdoor but sometimes people create an agenda to show a negative image of any company or person it might be a fake profile but I am sure Glassdoor security would be advanced enough to catch those famous spammers.

**What problems is Glassdoor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Glassdoor helped me switch jobs in my early career phases Later I joined Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital by reference found on Glassdoor it's a great platform to share your thoughts and experiences about organizations that help a lot of other people who are seeking jobs. Glassdoor is a big platform that helps me and other people a lot who want a good job in their lives.

It helps us get in front of possible candidates and helps with branding.

 ### 16. Recruiting help platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

it is solving the purpose to review about whats going on in the recruitment world and help us with the reviews in terms of work culture type of interview CTC and etc type of queries when a person is going for searching a job and it benefitted me in same manner as well

 ### 17. Impossible to use for recruiting or anything! Why is the UX so bad? Endless Pops ups and 'pruning'

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Enrico U. | Head of EMEA Field Marketing: Northern Europe (UK Nordics, Benelux, DACH), CEEMEA, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Glassdoor?**

Very little these days. Used to love Glassdoor for research and posting jobs. It was the go to solution and very inuititive. It also was a fair and open platform allowing for genuine transparency.

**What do you dislike about Glassdoor?**

Now it has become gamed and annoying. First of all, there are non stop and endless pop up questions. Secondly if my server or location changes it blocks me and this is becoming more challenging to trouble shoot. Im all for security but theirs is uncessarily designed and a poor UX. They dont care about providing value any more, they just want data and keep asking for more and more and block you from doing tasks until you give it! Also, Im sorry to say, but their integrity is really in question lately as Ive had reviews deleted and have staff complete theirs have been deleted which I then try to troubleshoot with HR which again, becomes a whole mission and waste of time. So as a individual user and business, it does not work anymore! Yes you can find some data and benchmarks as well as manage reviews for your own business but this has become a HUGE pain rather than a solution! I would highly recommend they employ some UX designers to fix these glaring issues.

**What problems is Glassdoor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Own business reviews + research on salaries + own reviews

 ### 18. Best platform to make decision easy to choose company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ankur S. | QA Engineer II, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Glassdoor?**

This is the best and easy tool to use. I am always using this tool to check company details. It is helping me to make decisions accurately. I like most two things about Glassdoor is:
- Search companies, Jobs and Salaries
- Applying for jobs directly from Glassdoor.

**What do you dislike about Glassdoor?**

I genuinely like this tool very much; every time once i planned for a job change, then i came over glassdoor for search company and check review. Ultimately there is nothing to dislike.

**What problems is Glassdoor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Glassdoor gives proper information about companies, Jobs and reviews. Sometimes I got confused about choosing companies, then i came over Glassdoor, and it's made my decision correct.

 ### 19. Job Postings and Company reviews, all in the same place!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Glassdoor?**

I love that I can find all the information I need in one place. I can find a job posting, and then seen what kind of company that job woudl be at. It shows work/life balance, benefits that are offered, and what the office culture is like.

**What do you dislike about Glassdoor?**

I have not found anything that is a negative aspect. I really like the program.

**What problems is Glassdoor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I apply for a job, I want to know that I'm putting my time and effort into a job that is going to suit me. Glass door is perfect for this. It shows how happy the employees are, and past employees will air thier grievances. I've avoided many toxic workplaces due to this program.

 ### 20. Getting a job or providing a company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dushyant S. | Cyber Security Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Glassdoor?**

Getting a job or providing a company overview is easy with this user-friendly platform and excellent customer support.

**What do you dislike about Glassdoor?**

I have no negative feedback regarding this platform.

**What problems is Glassdoor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting a job, multiple platforms to apply, getting a great response

 ### 21. Worst possible service to the public

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erica W. | Principal Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Glassdoor?**

I don't like anything about the purpose of Glassdoor.

**What do you dislike about Glassdoor?**

What is there to not like? Anyone can leave a review for you, whether you want to have an account with them or not. As a business owner, our name can be trashed by any disgruntled employee or anyone at all because they can leave their reviews anonymously and can put all kinds of lies and untruths in their review and that is not against the Glassdoor community policy. This hurts our public relations for potential job seekers. Yet the person leaving the review has no recourse or does not need to be held responsible in any way because their review is anonymous, it doesn't hurt their reputation when meeting with their next recruiter! Why should recruiters not have insight into employee's past behavior at jobs while the employee can make up negative and untrue things, thereby hurting the company's reputation and potential ability to attract new talent? It is a horrible system. Anyone who wants to leave a review should mandatorily need to have their own VERIFIED profile, like their LinkedIn profile. Guess what, I bet people would stop leaving trashy, negative reviews when they get fired. Anyone that wants to believe the negative reviews themselves are likely to only believe bad news anyway. But Glassdoor should stop enabling the unemployable people to adversely affect productive companies that just want to get the show on the road!!!!

**What problems is Glassdoor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They don't solve anything, instead I get the nasty grams to reply to after someone's feelings get bruised because they weren't actually qualified for a job. If we could put
Glassdoor out of business, the world would be a better place.

 ### 22. Glassdoor is helpful for learning more about a company and good tool for on job market folks.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paras S. | Senior Analyst, Recruitment | Strategy & Consulting - India Business, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Glassdoor?**

Glassdoor provides all of the information needed by employees and employers in one spot. What I appreciate about it is that you can post your CV and hunt for a job while also reading the evaluations of thousands of users of the firm you're applying for.

**What do you dislike about Glassdoor?**

All of the numbers there are not quite right. The income and funding figures for private enterprises are not entirely true. Nothing else of the like. The main thing I detest about Glassdoor is that we need an account to access the data, and that only a limited amount of data is available to non-logged-in individuals. I wish this data was fully free and willingly offered. Also, when you sign up to access those statistics, they force you to offer some evaluations, even if you only want a short glimpse at the relevant data, you still have to fill out all the superfluous information.

**What problems is Glassdoor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

-It benefits new employees by providing them with information about the company's ideals.

-It has one of the top recommended jobs, which we may apply for.

-It provides a solution for looking for a suitable job by providing so much information on the firm you are attempting to apply for, and the reviews assist you in understanding the working cultures of other companies.

 ### 23. Glassdoor is helpful to know more about an organisation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Glassdoor?**

Before contacting an organisation, I always read about it on glassdoor about the culture, decision makers of the company. It helps me to design the strategy accordingly.

**What do you dislike about Glassdoor?**

There is not much to point out, but there is 1 thing that bothers me sometime on glassdoor is, the UX. Sometimes it gets confusing to navigate the website even being a user for long time, I have to search , where to go. So I think, design team can give a look and try to make it better and easier.

**What problems is Glassdoor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If I have to find about a company with whom I can have a probable partnership or even if I have to look for a particular employee background, glassdoor really helps me to reach the right person in the least time. Glassdoor saves me 100's of hours and helps me increase business outputs.

 ### 24. Trusted platform for networking, job related all the information and recent job openings

**What problems is Glassdoor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, it's a window that opens to the cooperate world, showing a glimpse of every company, how they work, what are their expectations from you and how people feel about their company.

**What problems is Glassdoor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Glasswork gives clear information of insights into every company. I also helped me many time choose the right company while I was in the confusion during my job change

 ### 26. Not worth the paid investment, lax moderation and questionable reliability

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Glassdoor?**

The ability to do diligence on companies from the perspective of employee experience is very powerful for job seekers, investors, and employers looking to learn about their competition in the market

**What do you dislike about Glassdoor?**

Glassdoor do not properly regulate that individuals review companies only once, leaving it open to trolling and abuse by individuals. This lax moderation makes the reliability of the reviews highly questionable

**What problems is Glassdoor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gathering feedback about our company as an employer from previous and current employees, as well as feedback about the interview process in our company, benefits for new hires and more

 ### 27. Great Platform for Job Seekers

We can read the reviews about the companies by the people who are working there, know about their culture, compare salaries to check we can get pretty paid before making any move

**What do you dislike about Glassdoor?**

There are more pros than cons. I think browsing on mobile devices could have been better. Glassdoor lags a lot of mobile phones. I believe this is the area of improvement where it needs attention.

**What problems is Glassdoor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It lets me know about the company where i am interested to work, which i believe is the biggest problem it is solving for me, since we don't want to regret bad decisions, so it reduces that risk.

**What do you like best about Glassdoor?**

I used to trust Glassdoor as a job search resource. However, I recently left an incredibly toxic company where employees left because they were abused and wrote honest reviews of the toxic work environment. EVERY SINGLE NEGATIVE REVIEW WAS REMOVED making the company look like it was a great place to work. I hold Glassdoor responsible for misleading people who join. Glassdoor is now like the Yelp of the job market.

**What do you dislike about Glassdoor?**

They remove negative reviews of a company making them look more positive than they really are.

**What problems is Glassdoor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They aren't solving problems anymore... they are just a source of misleading, inaccurate information about companies people research.

 ### 30. Company Background Check

**Reviewed by:** Puneet K. | Sr. Manager - CRM & RTM, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Glassdoor?**

The insights which are provided on Glassdoor are very helpful. In these uncertain times, any employee should do a cross check on company background before joining or doing any business with a new vendor.

**What do you dislike about Glassdoor?**

All the numbers mentioned there are not exactly correct. For private companies, the revenue and funding numbers are not completely correct. Nothing else as such.

**What problems is Glassdoor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Glassdoor is providing good background details of a company and role which would help anyone trying to join a new company or thinking of engaging with a new company as a vendor.

**Reviewed by:** Partha R. | Lead Software Engineer, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Glassdoor?**

Glassdoor makes it super easy for anyone who is looking for information about a company, the use case could be like if someone is searching for jobs and has some parameters about the target companies, or someone has an offer letter from a certain company and wants to know how's the work culture or work-life balance or career growth potentials, these all information are very conveniently articulated from Glassdoor through their intuitive community platform.

**What do you dislike about Glassdoor?**

The biggest thing that I dislike about glassdoor is that we have to have an account to view the data, like very limited data is available to non-logged-in users, I wish this data was completely free and voluntarily given. Also when you sign up to see those data, they make you to give sone reviews, even though you don't want a quick glance at the required data just, still, you have to fill in all the stuff they require which is completely unnecessary.

**What problems is Glassdoor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Glassdoor is like a repository of companies and organizations along with their salary, reviews, details, contacts, and jobs, so in a way, it creates great values in employees of IT professions. People can get to know about work, salary, culture, etc about a company before even going to that company, remarkable approach to this professional world.

-They did not validate reviews we can directly give what we want,if they validate it increases the value of the reviews.

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Glassdoor?**

Signing up was easy and most companies I was searching for were listed.

**What do you dislike about Glassdoor?**

After the sign-up I received 27 emails and counting from Glassdoor in my business email account. There's an unsubscribe link included in every email, but it doesn't work. Also in the Glassdoor account settings some checkboxes to unsubscribe from emails are not clickable. So you are forced to forever receive Glassdoor spam emails. So I closed my account, but even after that and a complaint I received spam emails.

Regarding the service offering: For many companies it says there are reviews available, but when you want to read them, you can't (you need to change e.g. language settings to read reviews in English, when your are not based in an English speaking country).

I was not able to submit my salary, because the currency mismatched with my current country of residency. The system doesn't consider billing clients in a remote currency.

**What problems is Glassdoor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Glassdoor is supposed to help you find a fair salary and a well rated company, unfortunately it couldn't solve these problems for me.

Even whilst using the website for quite a while, I still have to look for the location of things. Therefore, I believe the design team can have a look and attempt to make it better and simpler.

**What do you like best about Glassdoor?**

No much because if you are willing to leave a review, you can access employer information - if not then Glassdoor services no purpose.

**What do you dislike about Glassdoor?**

That you have to leave a review to access employer information and the candidate pool is not nearly the size of Indeed, LinkedIn, or Seekout.

**What problems is Glassdoor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have no idea what problems they solved, we dropped the service because the team collectively agreed Glassdoor was not beneficial to us.
