Alex spent quite a considerable amount of time troubleshooting another connected issue and kept me in the loop the whole time including photos and video of what was going on, even working through some of my other custom code to try to spot out other potential problems. This type of service is above and beyond many other support teams where I have gotten messages like "we do not assist with custom code at all." So, thank you so much Alex! When you pay for a plan, there are a ton of features available. Feedback system in place. **What do you dislike about GiveWP?** I will admit, it took a while to get assistance because I was asking for custom-code assistance with an extension I was trying to work out with one of the paid add-ons which required the developer's input. Feedback implementation is based on the amount of feedback which means you could ask for some feature and have a few votes on it, but it will not be implemented. **What problems is GiveWP solving and how is that benefiting you?** It creates easy-to-use forms for donors to be connected to a payment processor directly through our sites without the hassle of the donor needing to create accounts or manage a ton of information off-site. ### 3. Our donations have increased 10-fold since implementing it into our giving strategy. I love the ease and flexibility of building the forms, for this non-tech person, that is a must. I am most grateful for their priority support team which always responds quickly when I run into any issue at all - remember, I am afraid of websites. I have been tempted by other platforms and have vetted them against GiveWP. Clearly, none have passed the test. I highly recommend GiveWP to my non-profit friends and anyone else needing to generate revenue quickly. Amanda helped me design a campaign to save our soup kitchen. We needed to raise $50,000. I was amazed to exceed that by raising over $70,000 in just two weeks! I like the flexibility of being able to accept different payment platforms. **What do you dislike about GiveWP?** The peer-to-peer module needs a little more work, and the "double your donation" fee platform needs to be improved. The cost of "double your donation" is steep for smaller NFP organizations that do not know what your donation rates will be. The way it is currently structured, you could be accepting donations just to cover the module cost. **What problems is GiveWP solving and how is that benefiting you?** GiveWP solves the problem of how to accept donation from around the world. I chose it to capture recurring donations, and it has done just that. Amanda was great with helping me get it initially set up. We also just did a complete website overhaul. There were no issues in transporting the plugin data from old to new site. **What do you dislike about GiveWP?** My only "complaint" is working with support to get something fixed - however, the problem was finally resolved. As a small nonprofit director who has to wear many hats, dealing with technology can be extremely frustrating. And, with smaller-sized tech companies, they often don't have robust technical support. Because I was limited to emailing my issues (donors were not able to login to their dashboards), it felt like it took a lot longer than necessary to fix the problem. There was a lot of back and forth and missed understanding on both sides. But, like I said, this is really no different than other tech/software companies these days (or any companies for that matter!). **What problems is GiveWP solving and how is that benefiting you?** I appreciate that we receive an email with updates and explanations for changes. The support from Matheus, Rick, Alex, Stephanie, Ben, and Amie is excellent, fast, and super high quality. They always understand my request and provide tremendous help sometimes including videos to show how and why something works the way it does and they have clearly thought carefully about how they have developed this plugin. I love the capacity to create different funds that donors can donate to, the donor wall, the donor dashboard (which is really great for donors), and the add on for tracking funds raised by others (peer to peer) and attributing those funds to them. They scheduled a free 30-minute audit of the fundraising on our website and went above and beyond in terms of responding to our concerns and giving helpful feedback, which will make the fundraising on our website more compelling. **What do you dislike about GiveWP?** The interface is good, but not great in Word Press and there are not a lot of design options. Also, the word donation pops up in a lot of places and it wasn't very easy to change that wording. My web designer and developer suggested placing the informative reports/graphs as the first thing you see when you click in to make changes in Word Press. They seemed open to adjusting that. **What problems is GiveWP solving and how is that benefiting you?** GiveWP can be used just as successfully by a for-profit company as a non-profit company. It was relatively easy to set up and a great way to brand your campaigns. It seems to be the only WP plugin on the market that allows you to really craft your own campaigns. **What do you dislike about GiveWP?** Unless you know CSS, you're stuck with their design scheme. On the one hand, their stock design is beautiful. On the other, it doesn't match with all brands. Because it uses shortcode, there's no real drag and drop designing. That said, I created pop-ups, pages, and page segments using their design and was surprised at how nice it looked. The other small downside is that you are unable to offer and organize incentives, which can be a vital part of fundraising campaigns. **Recommendations to others considering GiveWP:** While it may have some drawbacks, GiveWP is the most robust and easy-to-use product on the market in the crowd-funding space **What problems is GiveWP solving and how is that benefiting you?** Crowd-funding can be a bear, and so often, you have to sign-up with GoFundMe, Seed & Spark, or other platforms. GiveWP gives you complete control over the whole process without having to use a specific platform. We've customized our campaign and made giving easy on our website. While a technical program manager and UI designer in the past, I sometimes have a tough time finding the right solution to some of the issues we sometimes run into. Luckily, their support is by far one of the best out there. **What problems is GiveWP solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are currently attempting to migrate our dev site to production before Christmas, which from experience, we know is not easy - i.e., crunch time. As a charity, we understand the value of having our payment gateway functioning correctly. While we expected that getting help during the holidays is touch, I am so grateful that the GiveWP support team is there to help during this integral time of the year for a charity. ### 26. Donors can create accounts to see donation history and the GiveWP fundraising platform automates receipts and acknowledgments! It also integrates with email CRMs and systems like MailChimp, ConstantContact, and, of course, directly plugins-in to WordPress (a system that powers 39% of the top 10 million websites in the world). It also integrates Analytics so that I have a real-time dashboard--accessible to all stakeholders to view with ease--as well as automated reporting, features for donor contact notes, and more. It is truly a go-to tool that costs literally 10x less than everything on the market that might compare with GiveWP. **What do you dislike about GiveWP?** None! Easy to setup and go live **What do you dislike about GiveWP?** The price of the plugin is a bit on the expensive side, but it was a good choice and it works well. That's the point. The style/design customization could be improved for non techy admins managing the donation campaigns. **Recommendations to others considering GiveWP:** If you use WordPress and want to start accepting donations or creating fundraising campaigns, I believe WP Give is a clear choice. Good documentation and good support. And of course great product. **What problems is GiveWP solving and how is that benefiting you?** The Orchards Inc., is a newly created Non-Profit Organization. The Features are basically everything you could ask for in a fundraising plugin, and then some. The plugin is very easy to use, even for beginners and has lots of customization for the more advanced users. The team is also working on bringing new features all the time, and really involved the community in how the roadmap should look. The Support is also top notch. They are quick, smart, and explain things well. Even when it's not a giveWP issue per se, they usually have the answer and are helpful, quick, and professional. **What do you dislike about GiveWP?** I have few complaints about the plugins. I do wish some minor features were improved, especially with the currency converter. It doesn't work with authorize.net, the settings are not super clear, and I've seen it cause a few plugin conflicts. I also really wish the additional form fields would be conditional based on other fields on the form. **Recommendations to others considering GiveWP:** Make sure you are using GiveWP with someone who knows how to use it. Your fundraisers will never be the same. **What problems is GiveWP solving and how is that benefiting you?** If you want to fundraise, you generally have to use a prebuilt tool like gofundme. These are not ideal as they don't run on your website, and you lose tracking, customization, and identity. It works seemlessly with our wordpress site, designed with Divi. The update in 2021 to allow GiveWP as part of the Divi builder was amazing. Now I can easily setup fundraising pages for all our programs. We especially love the ad-ons Double the Donation, Form Countdown and Fee Recovery. Each of the premium add-ons has helped us raise more money in 2021, than years previous. **What do you dislike about GiveWP?** Having to build our fundraising leaderboard with totals and teams in the past was cumbersome and took a lot of work.
