## About GetPublicIP
GetPublicIP provides dedicated static public IP addresses for self-hosted servers, enabling businesses and individuals to bypass carrier-grade NAT (CGNAT) limitations without complex router configurations or ISP negotiations. The service establishes encrypted VPN tunnels from your server to GetPublicIP's infrastructure, eliminating double-NAT problems that typically prevent direct incoming connections. Unlike traditional static IPs tied to physical ISP connections, GetPublicIP addresses remain constant even when your underlying internet connection changes - making it ideal for failover scenarios including automatic 4G/5G switching.

## GetPublicIP Reviews
 ### 1. Ultimate Flexibility: Host Any App on Your Own Dedicated IP

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about GetPublicIP?**

Flexibility - by having a whole IP address we can host any application using any protocol TCP/UDP.

**What do you dislike about GetPublicIP?**

It can be a bit technical at times but self hosting is a technical endeavour

**What problems is GetPublicIP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to migrate non mission critical services off AWS to a server that we will host in our office. Our office network is managed by a third party which resulted in long delays to open ports and lots of back and forth, we decided to get a public IP address through GetPublicIP instead as it gave us direct access to managing ports without dealing with our service provider. It also gave us a fail over ability to different locations and internet connections encase of a outage at our office.
