Good for people with some CMS, HTML, and CSS familiarity **Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** John W. | Web Producer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2025 **What do you like best about Genius SIS?** The folder structure and the freedom of being able to utilize custom HTML and CSS **What do you dislike about Genius SIS?** Sometimes the CSS doesn't show up on the front end, and there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it **What problems is Genius SIS solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use it for marketing and showing our Higher Ed courses for our Theological Seminary. It is a much better option than the system that we were previously using, and it has a much faster turnaround time. ### 2. All staff had the same system, just with different securities so it was easy to add access of needed vs having to switch between systems. I worked at an online school, email templates were very easy to use, update, and add. **What do you dislike about Genius SIS?** We ultimately had to switch systems because Genius was not compatible with our state’s reporting platform. With the version that we had, customizations were limited and could only be made by one person on the team. **What problems is Genius SIS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Once we switched we realized the benefit of having the application directly embedded within the SIS. ### 3. Makes it easy to search and find the student and their relevant information. **What do you dislike about Genius SIS?** I can't think of a dislike, it has a lot of capabilities that make keeping track of students and their information a lot easier. **Recommendations to others considering Genius SIS:** check out the many capabilities, it will probably have more than you would even use, and at the very minimum meet the needs of your students and information tracking. **What problems is Genius SIS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Genius provides a portal to our LMS, and keeps track of the student data that we need to access, all in one place. ### 4.
