The best thing that I liked about General Data GDocs is that all the documents can be made accessible online in a centralized environment anytime and anywhere. It is a secure hosted environment that is suitable for any organization- big or small scale. GDocs is very easy to use and is a robust Document Management Software. The thing that they can improve is the UI and the fact that it requires high bandwidth internet to upload and manage documents and the uploading speed is low. Also, searching is a little bit slow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that it's an easy place for everyone to go to access the documents you need. I also love that it updates in real time, so several people can be working in a spreadsheet at one time and you see changes immediately. It's easy to access as well. Drop down menus and other conditional formatting changes are easy to make. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The downside of everyone working on the spreadsheets at the same time is, if someone chooses to sort the information so they're only looking at the things they're working on, it changes the view for everyone else too. I've been working on something only to have it disappear from view because one of coworkers sorted out the information that they needed to look at, not realizing it affected others working in that particular spreadsheet. There's a bit of a learning curve too, you expect it to operate like Excel, but there are differences. Sorting column of information is difficult and not intuitive. There are no reasons I can think of since it's so convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We can have count of number of words present in the document. We can edit the document from this app itself. These two are the most I liked about this app Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

PDF files will be opened in this application but the format of the PDF will that opened through this app is totally different from the original format. The number of lines will be increased, words will be splited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best features would be:

- Document Indexing and Hierarchy management.

- Easy to search options to find any and every document that has been shared with you.

- Version Control is the best feature that I have used so far. In case, your document is shared with a lot of people within the organization, you can easily go back to your previous versions.

- Up until now, nothing as such.

- Just some functionalities are missing which are there in Microsoft's suite of products, however that is navigated with an amazing integration with Microsoft Suite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The UI and the ease of collaborating with others online are the main reasons why I use GDocs. Additionally, the integration with Google Drive is wonderful. Not much - the aesthetic is still not as pleasant to me as Microsoft Word, and I don't enjoy the GDocs --> GDrive worfklow as much as the Word --> Local Drive workflow, but I don't have specific reasons why this is.
