Gaminar Reviews & Product Details

Gaminar is a web-based platform of live learning games that trainers, facilitators, coaches and learning and development teams run themselves, in the training room, on a video call, or both. The facilitator creates a session, shares a join link or QR code, and runs the whole game from one facilitator screen: start the game, move between stages and rounds, see which teams have finished, and show the live scoreboard on the main display. Participants join on the phone, tablet or laptop they already have, with no app to install and no account to create. Four games cover the skills most programmes are built on. Unlock is a communication exercise: each player holds images the rest of the team cannot see, and only describing, listening and questioning puts them in the right order. Ranking is the classic survival ranking: everyone ranks the items alone, then as a team, both are scored against an expert ranking, and a synergy score shows what the conversation added. Expressive puts a deck of picture cards on every phone for icebreakers, check-ins, coaching and reflection. Diamonds is a team strategy game in which teams prospect a grid with a budget and incomplete information. Every game comes with a facilitator guide, tutorial videos and debrief templates, and Unlock, Ranking and Expressive run on custom images or lists at no extra cost. Pricing is per participant who joins, rehearsal sessions with up to two participants are always free, and annual plans give unlimited sessions for twelve months.
