"Helped me complete my publishing project"

What do you like best about FundRazr?

I liked that the campaign does not have to be all or nothing. I also like that funds raised outside the platform can be counted in the total. These are features that were not available with my previous campaigns on Kickstarter. I was very happy to have the flexibility to reach my goal through in person avenues as well as through the online campaign. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FundRazr?

I wish the social media sharing options would share the update link picture rather than the main campaign page. I made some videos and images for updates that I ended up having to take a few extra steps to share and get the right image out on my social media platforms. What problems is FundRazr solving and how is that benefiting you?

For my publishing projects, I like that the Crowdfundr platform allows me to raise the money for printing ahead of time. As a zine publisher, a lot of my product is placed with stores and distributors on a consignment basis. What do you like best about FundRazr?

What do you dislike about FundRazr?

Mostly that it's still not as well known by the masses, I'd also love it if you had an easy way to offer a bring a friend discount. What do you like best about FundRazr?

The tool is easy for parents to use and a great way to get the much-needed funds for medical needs. I would recommend it to anyone needing to raise funds. What do you like best about FundRazr?

It works with fiscally sponsored groups. It's relatively easy to get a campaign off the ground. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FundRazr?

We've had lots of issues with the platform. One donation got denied because it charged to Canada (we're in the U.S.). The tools for creating campaigns are not very customizeable and not very visually compelling. For donors who choose not to cover their fees, Fundrazr is lying to them and including their total donation toward the fundraising goal even though they will recoup those fees, anyhow - a disservice to both our mission and the donor, and borderline unethical under the tenets of 501c3 status. Hi Katie, thanks for your feedback and sorry for your experience with one donation getting denied. As you may know, FundRazr doesn't touch or hold funds. We work with third-party providers like PayPal and Stripe and rely on their mechanisms, which may deny transactions occasionally for various reasons.

I am glad it was easy to get the campaign off the ground. We have two pricing plans - Free and Nearly Free - both supporting our mission to provide fundraisers with a powerful and free digital fundraising platform. To sustain our operations, we ask donors for optional support in the form of a tip. It is voluntary, and donors can easily opt out. We highly value our transparency standards and try to provide the best experience for fundraisers and donors.

What do you like best about FundRazr?

My experience with the company was pleasant, until we noticed large fees being deducted from our donations in Paypal. The fees were way larger than the commission fees first claimed by the company, coming close to 6-7% of the donation. What do you like best about FundRazr?

No fee, just a commission from donations. I like that I can get a simple link where people can read out the story and see a gallery of images and videos. I also like the option to send updates and to get email from donors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It looks a bit old and not so modern and that might deter some of the younger folks. It took me a while to get to know the portal and know where is what so that could be simplified. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
