The customer service provided by Freezerworks support staff is exceptional. I have reached out with so many questions over the years, from questions about the software itself, to brainstorming sessions about how to best represent/model certain kinds of data. They are always willing to help. The company is pretty small, so the staff routinely discusses any issues that come up. From the support staff to the developers, testers, and sales teams - everyone is in the loop. I've found them to be really responsive when it comes to suggestions for software improvement or on those occasions when I've found a bug. There can be a steep learning curve when starting out with Freezerworks. Also, since it is so customizable, I think that users can make a lot of errors when configuring their user-defined fields, making the database clunky and ineffective.
