Also I would like love if I can send some notification inside WP dashboard to my plugin users **Recommendations to others considering Freemius:** I will recommend Freemius to everyone who want to Monetize WordPress products **What problems is Freemius solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am solving all payment processing and monetization needs of my plugin. I don't need to worry about payment processing and invoices. Payment failure and licensing is managed well with Freemius. ### 2. So I changed an account username and password so that one of our agency team members can have direct access. I just now tried to login to a product vendor account that uses this same system but I can't sign in! It seems this freemi thingy make unified account changes for vendor accounts (that sells products that has nothing to do with each other). This is ridiculous. Why can't I make changes to one account without affecting to another? and by the way none of the "Forgot your password? Never received your password?" account recovery options work! Once submitted its just say "We sent a recovery link to your email address" but the email never arrives! I now have to verify my purchases with the vendor and try to get my accounts back. As principal I have now stopped buying products form vendors that uses this system. I prefer to deal directly with the vendor for account related matters, not some third party commission grabber. **Recommendations to others considering Freemius:** Build up your own system! or else don't use buggy third party solutions like this. Its not good for your brand. **What problems is Freemius solving and how is that benefiting you?** It gave me the joy of losing all my paid product access accounts. ### 13. Many features are simply not available from other providers, and the share of the earnings for the author is excellent compared to competitors. Everything is optimized into tiny details, and the people at Freemius are quick and efficient in their support. **What do you dislike about Freemius?** Not much to dislike. It would be great to have an easy option (maybe where you call the SDK) to turn off advertising for the premium/trial appearing on parts of the admin back end that are not related to our software. **What problems is Freemius solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are selling a WordPress plugin in a freemium model. The integration process is very straightforward, and can be integrated easily into any plugin's codebase. **What do you dislike about Freemius?** There were a few corner-cases I ran into while using the product - a customer was sent an erroneous email, a version number breaking a feature. To their credit, I contacted support and they were on it. Each issue was fixed quickly! **What problems is Freemius solving and how is that benefiting you?** It would have taken much too long to create a custom WordPress plugin billing system. Freemius made it possible to sell our plugin using their turnkey solution, without a large initial outlay. ### 16. I'm sure, like with anything, I will find something I don't like over time, but I'm very pleased with Freemius right now. **Recommendations to others considering Freemius:** If you are selling WordPress plugins or themes, I cannot recommend Freemius enough. They've really eased the process of becoming a premium plugin developer. **What problems is Freemius solving and how is that benefiting you?** Freemius takes care of the sales side of things, handling payments, dealing with refunds, tracking plugin activations, collecting user feedback upon deactivation, etc. A lot of things I don't think I would have been able to easily accomplish on my own. Freemius frees up a lot of my time to work on my plugin and not worry about the logistics of selling and delivering the assets. ### 17.
