According to G2 data, Fotor Photo Editor pricing in 2026 starts at $8.99 and can reach $19.99 depending on the selected plan. Pricing may vary based on billing terms or usage, so users should review the Chengdu Everimaging Co., Ltd.'s official pricing page for the most current details.
Fotor Photo Editor's pricing is best suited for small business owners, freelancers, and content creators who need quick, professional-looking visuals without investing in complex software like Photoshop. G2 reviewers from graphic design, marketing, photography, and education industries dominate the review base, with most operating in small businesses of 50 or fewer employees. The free tier suits casual users and beginners, while the Pro plan at $8.99/month fits social media managers and small teams needing AI tools and batch editing. The Pro+ plan at $19.99/month is better aligned with agencies or businesses requiring commercial stock assets, brand consistency tools, and larger cloud storage.
Fotor Photo Editor's free tier offers basic editing, collage tools, and 500MB cloud storage, but G2 reviewers consistently flag its most significant limitations: non-HD downloads with watermarks, restricted AI tool access, and intrusive ads. Fotor Photo Editor's Pro plan at $8.99/month removes watermarks, enables high-resolution exports, unlocks advanced AI toolkits, batch editing, and extra AI image generation credits. The Pro+ plan at $19.99/month adds commercial-use stock photos, custom font uploads, multiple brand kits, and 10GB storage. G2 reviewers frequently cite paywalled AI features, premium templates, and high-res exports as the primary motivators for upgrading from the free version.
G2 reviews of Fotor Photo Editor reflect a generally positive value perception, particularly for small businesses and casual users. The free tier is widely praised as a capable starting point, and the Pro plan at $8.99/month is seen as affordable compared to alternatives like Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom, which multiple G2 reviewers cite by name. However, recurring complaints about aggressive paywalls, watermarked free exports, and limited AI credits temper enthusiasm. Several G2 reviewers also flag serious concerns about billing practices, unauthorized renewals, and poor refund policies, which meaningfully impact perceived value. For straightforward social media editing and basic design work, most G2 users consider Fotor Photo Editor reasonably priced, but advanced users may find the cost-to-capability ratio less compelling.

that you can utilize the free trial and try out the company. unfortunately they will charge you even after cancelling. i cancelled in 2023 and somehow i was still being charged. there’s been so many new rules when it comes to scamming subscribers that’s been implemented recently but what about someone that’s been charged for 2+ years? This company scams! I signed up for a trial in 2023 using my PayPal, and to the best of my knowledge, I cancelled it. I haven’t tried this service since 2023, but they’ve been charging me $8 every month since. I finally noticed the charge, being that it’s small, but it certainly adds up. Watch out for these international companies! They will not give you a refund and don’t care that you actually never used the service. This is how they make money, by scamming hard-working Americans out of their money. Please take your business somewhere else, and if you happen to need to use them, cancel right after you subscribe for the free trial. Worst experience with customer service; they do not care at all.
