I tried 5-6 other solutions (the ones that come up in a Google search), but they all had limitations of one type or another. I finally found Formester, and I'm glad I did. In terms of form layout and flexibility, Formester was better than all of them. Not to mention being more intuitive & easier to use.

The interface is clean and simple, I could figure out almost everything without having to search or reference the documentation. All standard form elements are available. You are able to precisely position elements, align them, adjust spacing, etc. The column layout element is great when you want to position fields horizontally, as is the repeater field for tables of common elements. And with the custom embed element, you can do just about anything you could imagine. Not to mention the custom CSS and JavaScript's you can add.

I only required one integration (HubSpot), which it supports and was a breeze to setup. It's been rock solid so far. I also used a Webhook, and that worked flawlessly as well, although I no longer need it.

The submission results page is nicely laid out as a table of entries, and offers what you would expect in terms of columns, filters, exporting, etc. I've had zero problems in this regard.

PDF and emailing options are solid and easy to use.

Support is second to none! When I've used it, I receive quick responses that normally address the issue. I reported a bug, and it was fixed the next day. I even requested an enhancement to the location (GPS) element, and it was added the next day as well!

I also use the API to extract forms and submissions. It's a standard REST API, and I've seen no problems to date. There are many more features & options I haven't had reason to use, but I'm sure they will be seamless when I do so.

Pricing is on par with others, or a little less. No issues there.

The conditional logic and rules include basic steps that you would expect. Could this functionality expanded? Yes, but for most users, it is more than adequate. As are the variables you can define and use.

The designer could be improved in one regard. When you select an element, or looking at the main form, you have a panel on the right hand side with all the options and features you can configure. You cannot make this panel wider or expand it in anyway. If you have a large amount of CSS lines, you need to scroll vertically a lot to see it all, and it is too narrow when you are trying to analyze what it's doing. Well the free plan is really unlimited, no response caps quietly pushing you toward paid. The AI form builder gets a working form up in minutes, and conditional logic plus autoresponders handle the follow-ups I'd otherwise do manually. It replaced two tools I was paying for. I like the way the builder is laid out because the options are easy to find and understand, even when I am creating a form with different requirements. The AI form creator is useful too; it picks up the details from the prompt and gives me a relevant starting form instead of making me build every question myself. I can then adjust the questions and layout as needed without the interface feeling complicated. The response section is also well organised, with individual submissions, summaries, and analytics in one place.
