The only challenge we've had is the timing in getting a project started sometimes. Projects get assigned by a "project manager" (ours is great by the way!), but it may take a day or two to get started on a project depending on the time you request it. Making sure your project queue is full at all times to get the best value for your money. It makes it hard to really disconnect on holidays or to transfer hours to a busier time of year. There is a little bit of a learning curve when working with an online partner in this way. Sometimes feedback can be harder to communicate than if you are used to being able to sit beside a person at their workstation and give realtime feedback while in the editor. Everyone there is INCREDIBLY responsive, nice, and reliable - Truly they do an amazing job of sourcing their talent and hiring quality people.

They allocate a specific amount of hours every day to your projects - the number of hours depending on what tier you get, so for example, the highest tier, which is what I have is only 4.5 hours per day. The other thing that is a bit sucky is that there's no timeproof for their work, so it's a bit difficult to gauge truly how much work is and can be done within your allocated hours.

Although it's being positioned as a negative, I can also see it as a double-edged sword. There have been times where I've told the project manager that I need a certain deliverable with urgency, and they're usually pretty good about responding to that and getting it to me quickly - so if they do go above the 4.5 hours of the day, we also won't know.
