## FireShot Reviews
  ### 1. Effortless Screenshots, Searchable PDFs, and Outstanding Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael J. R. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2025

**What do you like best about FireShot?**

Fireshot is easy to use, and very flexible for the output. The Pro version creates searchable PDFs, which I find very handy.

The team's support is terrific as well. They have been very responsive and resolved my issue (not with the software) quickly and clearly.

**What do you dislike about FireShot?**

Haven't encountered any sticking points. It does exactly what it advertises, and effectively at that.

**What problems is FireShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need to create full page screen captures often with searchable text. FireShot makes this easy with a quick click.

  ### 2. Easy to use, free and fast, works flawlessly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jorge G. | DJ, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2021

**What do you like best about FireShot?**

I use a lot of chrome to search the web. The fact that Fireshot is an extension of Chrome lets me avoid any other software installation and setup. It is free and doesn't make Chrome slow as other extensions

**What do you dislike about FireShot?**

They ask you to install a shady program to use the infinite scrolling page feature, it would be so helpful, but I don't trust this additional installation requirement.

**Recommendations to others considering FireShot:**

When capturing screenshots for pages with infinite scroll like Facebook or Instagram, you have to install an additional app; you can find instructions to do so in the extension options menu.

**What problems is FireShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When browsing, I take visual notes by screenshotting information related to electronic music events to share with my teammates and potential clients. This tool let me point exactly what I expect for flyers and upcoming events design and ambiance.

  ### 3. Incredible fast and easy to get and share screenshot, love it, ptss... is free

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ricardo L. | Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2021

**What do you like best about FireShot?**

Besides, it is free; I find it a no-brainer to anyone; getting a full page capture is so easy and works so well in almost all websites or web apps, highly recommended.

**What do you dislike about FireShot?**

I wish they'll offer video capture also. Sometimes a screenshot is not enough for explaining to my clients or colleagues where they can interact with a web app or website; so a video feature, it could improve a lot.

**Recommendations to others considering FireShot:**

You don't have anything to lose, just try it, and you won't regret it, fast, simple, and free.

**What problems is FireShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work with other designers in collaborative design files; there comes a time when I have to point them to specific parts of a particular design or component. Fireshot is so fast and easy and a time saver that it had become a must-have tool for me.

  ### 4. Fast and lightweight extension for screenshots, practical, with a free plan.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juan Pablo L. | Junior Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2021

**What do you like best about FireShot?**

I like how fast you can take screenshots. The shortcuts make this task even quicker, and it is pretty easy to copy and paste screenshots in any place like Gmail or Slack to point important info to colleagues or clients.

**What do you dislike about FireShot?**

The extension doesn't work in incognito mode, it is frustrating, but it seems there is no other extension that can solve this.

**Recommendations to others considering FireShot:**

Try it is free and lightweight.

**What problems is FireShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like to take screenshots of websites or apps, even videos or parts of it, to convey a concept or show colleagues something related to a component behavior, layout errors, or translations missing. This way, they can understand fast what is the thing to fix or what I'm expecting to happen when programming web components.

  ### 5. Great for full-length screenshots

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2022

**What do you like best about FireShot?**

Fireshot's best features are around the full-length screenshot. Instead of having to piece screenshots together, users can capture the entire page of their screen in one click.

**What do you dislike about FireShot?**

I would like to see Fireshot autosave screenshots into a google drive or cloud storage center for future reference.

**What problems is FireShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

full-length and full-screen screenshots that are difficult to produce with other methods.

  ### 6. My Go To Screenshot Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt L. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2019

**What do you like best about FireShot?**

FireShot has always been a tool that I've viewed highly -- literally since day 1 of coming across it on a hopeless turned hopeful Google search. At the time, I was using Firefox as my browser and desperately needed to capture full-page layouts. I was able to capture the visible part due to having a Macbook but I was unable to capture everything. And, if I did want to, I would literally have to put together a bunch of screenshots -- just not worth the time. Luckily, FireShot came into play and changed all of that for me. It's super easy to use after downloading it onto your browser as an extension (works for both Firefox and Chrome -- maybe more). It even offers you to save your screenshots in a totally separate FireShot folder if you choose to do so. Amazing product.

**What do you dislike about FireShot?**

I would be lying if I said there is anything I dislike about the actual product. The only dislike I have is this: I don't have enough items that need to be screenshot!

**What problems is FireShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As mentioned in the beginning of this review, I was never able to screenshot full pages without doing it piece by piece and putting the whole picture together in Photoshop or something of that nature. So, FireShot has enabled me to capture the entire screen + more!

  ### 7. Simple and free app to screenshot webpages

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Hardware | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about FireShot?**

It is a free app to screenshot web pages online. On the macbook, the screenshot function is only limited to the viewport, however with Fireshot, it can capture the entire page.
As a UX/UI Designer, this is extremely helpful when I need to refer to the entire webpage.

**What do you dislike about FireShot?**

I am unable to choose the ending point or starting point of the webpage im screenshoting.
For example, if i click on the icon on my browser, it will automatically screenshot the whole page.
If i stop it from auto-scrolling the screenshoting with be stopped and cancelled.

**Recommendations to others considering FireShot:**

I have recommended FireShot to my colleagues because its convenient and basically free to use.
I have not switched to any other apps to screenshot webpages because FireShot works well for me.

I suggest you to give it a shot

**What problems is FireShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Im working as a UI/UX Designer (User Experience / User Interface), and this is extremely useful when I have to study or refer to webpages. It helps solves the problem of having to save webpages that can be very inconvenient as supposed to just clicking FireShot's icon.

  ### 8. This is great

**Reviewed by:** Junkyard P. | Student Worker, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about FireShot?**

Once you install it on your desktop, it's so easy to use. You press a button, photo. You can save, edit, crop, whatever. I use it at least 5 times a month. It's free. So great

**What do you dislike about FireShot?**

Sometimes it takes a minute before it takes a photo, if you press it multiple times it'll take multiples

**Recommendations to others considering FireShot:**

Seriously, get this. It's a pain to install but worth it. It's free.

**What problems is FireShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You no longer need to print the page. You can screenshot and email it. Saves on paper. You can also add it into word docs.
