## Fingerprint Reviews
 ### 1. Effortless Setup with Robust Security Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shyam V. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I really appreciate how easy the setup is with Fingerprint. It's truly a once and done situation, unlike other platforms. I also like that there's an open-source version available, which helps us build trust by being auditable before using the commercial version. The transition from FingerprintJS to the commercial version was seamless due to its outstanding performance. It was super simple to implement, just had to copy the script tag into our frontend, and it was done. I would absolutely recommend it.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Minor issue is during Angular e2e Playwright testing, it sometimes fails due to the advanced checks Fingerprint does that modifies DOM. We have accounted for this in our latest version by disabling Fingerprint in e2e.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fingerprint to prevent bot logins, stop account sharing, and distinguish users on Luminary. It protects real accounts on arcAI, ensuring single user access.

 ### 2. Solid Protection and Simple Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Normando Ali Z. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

We use Fingerprint to uniquely identify our clients' devices on our Fintech Wallet platform in Mexico. I like that it effectively identifies devices, as other libraries tend to get confused or recognize minor changes as new devices even when they are not. We love that the initial setup of Fingerprint was very easy, and we appreciate being notified when we need to update the tool, which allows us to keep track of our versions.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

I believe that on the Web it could still improve more to accurately identify the client's device. Sometimes when the user changes web browsers frequently, it tends to get confused, or when the browser is updated.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint allows us to uniquely identify our clients' devices, solving the problem of account takeover and effectively protecting them. It is effective in device identification, avoiding the confusion that other libraries present.

 ### 3. Exceptional Device Identification: Reliable, Scalable, and Low-Latency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

We have been leveraging Fingerprint for over 1,500 days as part of our core fraud prevention and identity intelligence stack, and the results have been consistently exceptional. The platform delivers high-accuracy device identification with strong stability and low latency, even under significant traffic volumes.

From an enterprise perspective, the API reliability, seamless integration capabilities, and comprehensive data signals have enabled us to strengthen risk scoring, prevent abuse, and enhance account protection without negatively impacting user experience. The system has proven resilient, scalable, and operationally dependable across evolving use cases.

Fingerprint has become a strategic component of our security architecture, providing measurable value in fraud reduction, operational efficiency, and long-term risk mitigation. We consider it a trusted, long-term technology partner.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Overall, our experience has been very strong. If there is one area for improvement, it would be greater transparency and deeper configurability around certain advanced signals and scoring logic. For enterprise environments, having more granular control over thresholds, explainability for risk decisions, and expanded native reporting capabilities would further enhance operational visibility.

Additionally, more out-of-the-box integrations with enterprise SIEM and analytics platforms could reduce implementation effort for complex environments. That said, these are optimization opportunities rather than major concerns, and the platform continues to evolve in the right direction.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint is solving the challenge of reliably identifying devices and detecting fraud in environments where traditional identifiers (cookies, IPs, user accounts) are no longer sufficient or easily manipulated. It enables us to distinguish between legitimate users and bad actors with high confidence, even in cases involving VPN usage, incognito browsing, cookie clearing, or multi-account abuse.

From a business perspective, this directly benefits us by reducing fraud exposure, preventing account takeovers, limiting bonus and promotion abuse, and strengthening overall platform integrity. It has improved the precision of our risk scoring models while minimizing false positives, which protects both revenue and user experience.

Operationally, the stable API performance and high identification accuracy allow us to automate decisioning, reduce manual reviews, and scale securely without adding proportional headcount. In short, Fingerprint enhances our security posture while driving measurable cost efficiency and risk mitigation.

 ### 4. Highly Reliable API with Effective Spam Score

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** José C. | Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I really appreciate Fingerprint's solid API responses, which integrate well with our lead ingestion system. The spam score is great; I like how it uses the historic site traffic quality to classify leads, and we can use it to measure quality across different digital traffic sources. Setting up Fingerprint was super easy with just one script, although our non-standard implementation took an extra hour. Overall, these aspects of Fingerprint make it a valuable tool for our needs.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

I've gotten a couple of false positives, where real users were flagged as 'potential' bots. It would be great to have IP blacklists because I can imagine bad servers are targeting many sites.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fingerprint to spot potential spammy leads and understand user engagement. It provides a spam score based on site traffic quality, which is crucial for assessing digital traffic sources. The API lets us integrate with our lead ingestion system and CDP.

 ### 5. Unmatched Accuracy and Seamless Device Recognition

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** REDA A. | Lead Developer, Financial Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

Without doubt, Fingerprint is one of the most accurate identification technologies out there today. It works quietly in the background and does its job extremely well. Instead of relying on cookies or logins, it understands devices and browsers in a very precise way, even when users try to hide or reset their data

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

The main downside is pricing. For many early-stage startups, especially in Africa, it’s simply not startup-friendly. Limited budgets and lower revenue make it hard to afford, even if the technology itself is excellent.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we use Fingerprint mainly for fraud detection. It helps us identify suspicious users and devices, prevent account abuse, and reduce fraudulent transactions before they cause damage.

Fingerprint also plays a key role in e-commerce fraud protection, allowing us to spot repeated abuse, fake accounts, and risky payment behavior even when users try to hide or reset their identity.

 ### 6. Effortless Integration with a Generous Free Plan

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vít F. | Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I like how easy it is to integrate Fingerprint and their generous free plan. The free plan includes 1000 API calls per month, which is more than enough for me, and it offers most of the features that paid plans would. The ease of integration is straightforward: they provide a URL for a specific script that you simply put into your JS file, allowing you to directly extract data like visitor ID and utilize it as needed. The initial setup of Fingerprint was very easy for me.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

I mean they could integrate automatic DNS record making for example Cloudflare (because you want to make 'proxy' for their script so that browsers such as Brave don't block it)

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fingerprint for data collection on site users. It helps verify users aren't bots or using VPNs, tied to verification tokens. The generous free plan and easy integration make it valuable.

 ### 7. Fingerprint Solved My Ad Fraud Issues Instantly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Auman L. | account manager, Accounting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

Fingerprinting provides a very smart way to detect fraud because if you know more than 20 parameters about a visitor, you can certainly determine whether that visitor intends to commit fraud or not. I use fingerprinting on my website to prevent fake clicks on my Adsterra ads. I was receiving fake clicks on the ads, which caused a problem with Adsterra, but now, with the addition of fingerprinting, I have blocked all VPN, proxy, and virtual machine traffic, and this has completely solved my problem.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Everything was fine, but using their API was a bit difficult, and it took me a lot of time to learn how to use it. It would have been good if they had added videos explaining how to use the API.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There were over 2,000 fake ad clicks daily, which was creating a lot of problems for advertisers, but with the addition of Fingerprint, the clicks have decreased significantly, which is very good.

 ### 8. Excellent Accuracy, Easy Integration, and Great Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex O. | Sr Engineering Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I've been using Fingerprint since it was just an open source JavaScript library. The device identification accuracy is solid, and the API is straightforward to integrate. The documentation is clear and developer-focused, which made implementation easier than expected. What really stands out is their customer support. We had an incident that raised a lot of questions about resilience, fallback strategies, and how to handle edge cases in our architecture. We sent them a pretty long list of technical questions, and their team responded with detailed, thoughtful answers. They engaged with our specific use case and even escalated some of our feedback to their Product team. That kind of responsiveness is rare.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

For highly critical financial flows, the 99.9% uptime SLA feels a bit short. I wish they offered 99.99% or some form of on-prem solution that would let us keep things running even during their outages. When your system depends on a third party for real-time fraud decisions, any downtime can block user interactions. We've built workarounds, but having a local fallback option would give us more confidence.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Fingerprint in a critical financial flow as an additional layer for detecting fraud. It helps us identify returning devices accurately, even when users clear cookies or switch networks, which reduces our exposure to repeat bad actors.

 ### 9. Effective Fraud Prevention with Some Hurdles

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kuda Z. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I like that Fingerprint helps us spot the same person trying to sign up multiple times from the same device or location, reducing fraud while keeping the experience smooth for real customers. I value the device identification feature because it lets us recognize when the same device comes back, helping us spot repeat users and keeping returning users moving quickly. The Smart Signals are also great, as they help us know when bad bots try to sign up and flag attempts where someone is trying to hide who they are, allowing us to add an extra check when needed. I appreciate the confidence score as well, which helps us decide when to trust a match versus when to be more cautious.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

1. It's not always perfect - a device can look new after browser updates, privacy setting or clearing data so some returning users may not be recognized. 2. Shared devices are tricky - families, schools or offices can make different people look like the same user, which can cause false flags. 3. More clarity in the dashboard - clearer explanations on why a device was flagged and simpler summaries would make reviews faster. 4. VPN/Proxy detection is not accurate sometimes - when users are logging from the same ISP in the same area, they can be flagged as using a Proxy which is wrong.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fingerprint to prevent fraud and duplicate sign-ups by detecting repeat device use and stopping bots, ensuring a smooth experience for real customers.

 ### 10. Very smart signals to prevent multiple account problems and fraud in free trials

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maria B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I like Fingerprint's bot detection and proxy detection features. They help me manage users who might be using proxies to create multiple accounts or automate the creation of multiple accounts. These features are sufficient for my needs I also used the velocity feature, which allows me to see if the same device is using a different IP address in different countries.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Everything is working well so far.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fingerprint for detecting and preventing multiple account creation on our website, By using indicators like proxies and VPNs, and also fingerprinting, it provides me with a very important feature: the phone's frequency, which tells you how many times the same phone has visited your application or website, even if it changed its IP or used an incognito browser. The score feature is also great because it allows you to appreciate the level of risk.

 ### 11. Unmatched Device Recognition with Impressive Privacy Balance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pintu K. | Full Stack Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

What I like best about Fingerprint is how all of its different features work together to give incredibly reliable identification. The confidence score is probably my favorite part, because it tells me exactly how certain the system is about recognizing a visitor. But I also really appreciate how it combines so many signals—IP address, browser version, timezone, device hardware details, screen size, network information, and even subtle behavior patterns—to build a strong and consistent device profile. The fact that it still identifies users accurately even if they clear cookies, switch networks, or use incognito mode makes it feel way more advanced than traditional tracking methods. Altogether, the sheer number of signals it analyzes is what makes it both powerful and surprisingly consistent.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

What I dislike about Fingerprint is that it can feel a bit intrusive at times. Even though it doesn’t collect personal information directly, the idea that a system can still identify me across different sessions—even in incognito mode or after clearing cookies—sometimes feels like I have less control over my privacy than I expected. Another thing I’m not a fan of is that it can occasionally flag legitimate users as suspicious, especially when they travel or use different networks, which can lead to unnecessary friction. Overall, while it’s powerful, it can sometimes feel a little too good at tracking, which might make some users uncomfortable.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint is solving some of the biggest headaches I face while running a Travel booking portal, and it genuinely makes my life easier. Before using it, we had constant issues with users creating multiple fake accounts to abuse promo codes, fraudsters attempting chargebacks after buying tickets, and even bots scraping prices or spamming our search engine. Fingerprint solves these problems by accurately identifying each device using signals like IP, browser details, hardware info, and its confidence score, even if someone switches networks or uses incognito mode. Because of that, we can spot suspicious behavior early, block repeat offenders, and keep legitimate customers safe. It also helps reduce payment fraud, prevents duplicate bookings from the same hidden user, and gives a smoother experience to genuine travelers. Overall, it protects our business from losses and ensures that honest customers get a faster, more reliable booking experience.

 ### 12. Fingerprint: Seamless Fraud Prevention with Customizable Detection

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim W.

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I like how Fingerprint is super easy to get up and running, and the free plan has plenty of capacity for a single page or form. The paid version has amazing bot detection, VPN detection, proxy detection, tampering, and dev tools detection. I appreciate that it gives you all the flags on everything they detect, and you can decide how strict you want to be regarding blocking or allowing actions on your site. It's 100% customizable. The software itself has been flawless. It took me just one minute to copy and paste and start grabbing fingerprints. I know there are other similar platforms out there, but the price, the features, and the way it works have been amazing for us.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Navigating the data tables with pages of information is a bit buggy and the initial experience of trying to find specific 'fingerprints' wasn’t great. The filtering needs to be improved a bit as visiting a record and going back to the list might change the filters, or applying new filters while several pages in messes things up.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint prevents form fraud by blocking bots and detecting VPNs and proxies. It protects our email reputation from spam by controlling fake submissions.

 ### 13. Accurate User Identification with Effortless Integration and Real-Time Fraud Signals

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I really like how accurately Fingerprint identifies users, even when they’re in incognito mode or have cleared their cookies. It was also very easy to integrate, and the real-time device and behavior signals make it a strong option for spotting fraud without adding friction for genuine users.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Honestly, what bothers me most about Fingerprint is the pricing — it feels quite expensive, especially for smaller teams or if you need more flexibility between plans. I’ve also noticed that it can sometimes flag legitimate users, which ends up creating friction in situations where there really shouldn’t be any.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint helps me deal with one of the biggest headaches online: actually knowing who’s who. It solves the problem of users switching devices, clearing cookies, or going incognito by still being able to accurately identify them across sessions. That’s huge for me because it cuts down on confusion, false assumptions, and guesswork.
It also tackles fraud and bot detection by analyzing tons of device, network, and behavioral signals in real time, which helps me catch suspicious activity early instead of reacting after damage is done.

 ### 14. Reliable Device Identity Signal, Easy API Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

Fingerprint gives us a reliable device identity signal that helps us detect repeat or fraudulent submissions across all of our marketing campaigns and connect activity across sessions. We use it for every campaign we currently run. The documentation and APIs are straightforward to integrate, and the AI support chatbot is very helpful when we need quick answers.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Some edge cases can still lead to false positives or false negatives—maybe 1 or 2 per tens of thousands of users. In addition, privacy considerations require careful communication and thoughtful configuration. If you’re using the Google Analytics integration at the same time, it also requires extra attention to set up and manage properly. Finally, human support could be improved, particularly when it comes to response time.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint helps us identify users who join promotional campaigns from multiple devices and, as a result, don’t adhere to the limits set out in the terms and conditions. It also gives us useful insights into our traffic.

 ### 15. Exceptional Accuracy and Reliability for Seamless User Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sharath P. | Director - Product and Engineering, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

We use Fingerprint.js across all of our clients' web and mobile applications. What impresses us most about fp.js is its exceptional accuracy and the consistency of its data. Its dependable performance has allowed us to implement wishlist and cart features in certain client projects without the need for user authentication.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

In my opinion, the price jump is quite steep, and there are no different package options available. You either have to commit to the $99 package right away or opt for a customized package, which ends up being very expensive for startups. An intermediate package will definitely help.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I rely on Fingerprint for dependable device fingerprinting, which helps strengthen account security by recognizing login attempts from both familiar and new devices. It also helps in identifying user credential leaks as we can identify anomalies in logins and account creations.

The integration process with my identity platform is straightforward, and I appreciate how much time I save thanks to the clear documentation and fast setup.

 ### 16. Easy setup, clear user insights, reliable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marin B. | Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

- easy setup and the insight into user behaviour it provides on my website
- many SDK's
- simple UI
- no issues with performance or outages whatsoever
- a free tier to get you started

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

nothing stands out, works as advertised - no issues within 1+ years of usage

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

in our case of online assessment handling, the "Smart signals" are of great help

 ### 17. Effortless Integration and Reliable User Identification

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ivan T. | сto, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

What I really like about Fingerprint is that it provides consistent and accurate user identification in complex cases — for example, when using VPN using incognito mode. Integration turned out to be much easier than I expected: the documentation is reliable, the API is well structured and the examples really help. Another big plus is that it works quickly. And the analytics are extremely detailed, which makes it easier to understand user behavior and detect suspicious activity in a timely manner.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

The main drawback for me is the price, which can increase if you use additional features frequently or deal with high traffic. And yes, sometimes I wish the support team would answer complex technical questions faster.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprinting helps us distinguish legitimate users from risky behavior, which is extremely important when normal things like checking IP addresses or cookies don't really work.

 ### 18. Incredible client environment insights for protecting account systems

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark G. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

It has an incredible amount of information on client environments, allowing us to build up really accurate security tools for our game, including duplicate accounts, account sharing and even endpoint protection for some of our sensitive use cases. We use it on sign-up, login and randomly while logged in. It was also very easy to integrate!

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

I can't think of any downsides. I do wish there was a little more plan flexibility for small customers. I'd happily pay a reasonable per-request rate instead of a subscription. That's a better billing model for me while my projects are small.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Duplicate accounts, account sharing, endpoint abuse and general intel on some of the players of our online game. Also referral abuse prevention.

 ### 19. Great stability for anonymous users

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kuanysh B. | CTO, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I appreciate Fingerprint for its ability to support anonymous sessions in our web app. It provides a reliable method for identifying users who choose not to disclose their identity or create an account, which is crucial for tracking sessions and conversations with anonymous users. I value that it began as an open source solution, and upon discovering their more sophisticated offerings, I found the dashboard and integrations particularly impressive. The product's capacity to accurately identify location and maintain overall stability is excellent, fitting perfectly with our use case. I also commend its comprehensive front end and back end integrations, which ensure that it meets all our integration needs. Additionally, the unmatched stability and user experience it provides have made it the go-to solution over other options. Due to these features, I not only implemented it in-house but also recommend it widely for client solutions. With such strong performance, I rate it highly and find it remarkably valuable for our specific needs.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

I find that Fingerprint becomes expensive at thousands of requests per day, which can be a concern for products or use cases that require high-volume requests.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fingerprint to identify users who choose not to create accounts, supporting anonymous web app sessions. It provides stable user tracking and location identification, with useful integrations and a user-friendly dashboard, making it essential for our use case.

 ### 20. Reliable Device Identification with an Easy Dashboard and Smooth Implementation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

Fingerprint provides reliable device identification that helps us recognize returning users and detect suspicious activity without adding friction to the user experience. The implementation was straightforward, and the dashboard makes it easy to review and understand device signals.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Overall, the platform has worked well for our use case. It would be helpful to have more built-in reporting options and additional preconfigured integrations with third-party tools to simplify analysis.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint helps us identify repeat visitors and detect potentially fraudulent activity more accurately than relying on traditional identifiers alone. This has improved our ability to prevent abuse, reduce unnecessary manual reviews, and make more informed security decisions while maintaining a smooth experience for legitimate users.

 ### 21. Powerful Fraud Prevention With Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sasindu H. | Web Development Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

What I like best about Fingerprint is how reliably it prevents fraudulent credit card payments with virtually zero maintenance. After integrating it, we were able to stop 100% of fraudulent payment attempts, which was a huge win for our team. The integration process was incredibly easy, and the platform fit into our system with minimal effort. Its accuracy, speed, and developer-friendly tools make it one of the most effective fraud prevention solutions we’ve used.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

While the product works extremely well, the cost can feel a bit high, especially for teams that don’t need a large volume of requests. It would be great if they offered a lower-tier pricing option for smaller usage levels or businesses just starting out.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've been using Fingerprint to prevent fraudulent credit card payments, and the results have been outstanding. Before implementing it, we dealt with repeated fraud attempts that were difficult to catch using traditional methods. After integrating Fingerprint, we were able to block 100% of fraudulent payment attempts a massive improvement that immediately boosted our operational confidence.

One of the biggest advantages was how easy the integration process was. The documentation is clear, the setup is straightforward, and the platform works smoothly with our existing systems. Within a short time, we were fully operational and already seeing measurable results.

 ### 22. Accurate User IDs That Strengthen Account Takeover Protection

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean D. | Frontend Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I like the accurate user IDs Fngerprint provides that allow us to trigger custom protections against account takeover.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

One minor issue is the exporting progress, there is no mass export, so I have to trigger webhooks.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me prevent suspicious attackers from gaining access to legitimate user accounts, and also is an extremely useful and fast analytics tool.

 ### 23. Fingerprint: Essential for Stopping Bots and Protecting Our Reputation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim W. | Director of Product and Technology, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

Fingerprint helped us eliminate bots, stop spam, and identify key individuals that were attempting to disguise their efforts at harming our business reputation. The trial (and subsequent free plan) gave us enough exposure to eventually subscribe and leverage Fingerprint across multiple applications and technologies.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

No downsides! It is a technical tool and will require the implementer to touch code, API endpoints, and even DNS settings.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of our applications started getting bombarded with spam signups, contact forms, live chat, calendar schedules, SMS and voice verifications across the globe, and tons of spam. We implemented multiple tools trying to mitigate the attacks, but when we would stop one problem, another attack vector would be used. We couldn't get ahead until we landed on Fingerprint. Within a day or two, we had the system full integrated. The attacker's patterns were easily identified and then blocked. The system was hack proof and completely did away with the need for other tools to prevent automated sign ups. Using what we learned, implemented it across several applications and websites, locking everything down.

 ### 24. Remarkably Accurate and Reliable for Seamless User Experiences

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chet Raj G. | Chief Executive Officer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

We rely on Fingerprint.js for all of our clients' web and mobile applications. What stands out most about fp.js is its remarkable accuracy and consistent data. Its reliability is so impressive that we have implemented it to enable wishlist and cart features in some of our clients' projects, even without requiring user authentication.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

The pricing is a little too high. If it were more affordable, it would be an indispensable tool for our company projects and clients.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This FP.js tool has helped us in combating bots and spammers, while also enhancing authenticity in various ways. For certain low-cost projects where authentication isn't necessary, we rely on fp.js to provide a basic level of tracking for features like temporary carts and wishlists. For our larger clients, we suggest using FP.js Pro to enhance the user experience and minimize fraudulent activities. We've observed a 60% decrease in free trial abuse, multi-account bots, and admin panel attacks. As the CEO of a growing software and consulting company, I find this to be one of the most frequently recommended tools for our clients.

 ### 25. Straightforward Integration and Powerful Smart Signals Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harshit A. | Principal Engineer, Financial Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

The integration experience is straightforward—just a simple JavaScript snippet or an API call, making it developer-friendly.
Also, found the Smart Signals feature very powerful, as it doesn’t just identify users but explains why a user might be suspicious

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Nothing as such. Since fingerprinting works in the background, privacy considerations and user consent need to be handled carefully depending on the region and compliance requirements.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reduced fraud and operational overhead
Good confidence in user identity
Improved overall platform integrity without adding friction for genuine users

 ### 26. Effortless Visitor Verification with Smart Signals

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cristiano d. | Software Engineer (Systems & Integrations), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I like Fingerprint for its Smart Signals and ease of use. It's ridiculously easy to set up, and the Smart Signals provide a lot of information about visitors, helping me take proper action. For instance, I can filter out leads that might be fake or invalid based on this information.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

I don't have any complaints but improvements could come in the form of APIs and other methods of integration.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fingerprint to identify site visitors, ensuring they're real and from valid locations. It helps me filter out fake leads using Smart Signals. The setup is ridiculously easy, and it provides necessary visitor information for taking proper actions.

 ### 27. Unmatched Fraud Prevention with Detailed Visitor Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** JAMES A. | Modify Apps, Computer Games, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

With Fingerprint, you get indicators for each visitor that let you know everything about their device: whether they're using a VPN or proxy, whether they're using a rooted device, and so on. All these indicators enable you to prevent fraud by 90%, if not more. I was truly amazed when I saw how much information I could gather about each visitor to my site.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

I think the price is high and there aren't any varied packages; you have to go straight to the $99 package or get a customized package, and that costs a lot for individuals.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was experiencing a problem with VPN visitors because my website has content that is limited to one visit per user, and visitors were using proxies and other methods to bypass this. With the integration of fingerprinting, you can identify visitors who are cheating to gain multiple accesses to the content, even if they change their IP address.

 ### 28. Effortlessly Detects Fraud, Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jayaraj V. | IT Lead, Financial Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I like that Fingerprint is easy to integrate and that it makes it easy to identify all visitors' details. It helps me stop fraud attempts effectively. With accurate visitor details, I can detect fraud transitions easily and even create rules for future use cases. The customer team is very supportive as well, and setting it up was easy since we completed it in a month.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Till now, I haven't faced any issues. Very Supportive customer team

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint helps me detect fraud visitors, even those using VPNs, and stop fraud attempts. It's easy to integrate and identify visitor details accurately, allowing rule creation for future use cases.

 ### 29. Seamless Security and Easy Setup and signs to detect all types of fraud and fast api to get all info you need

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ahmed A. | Web developer, Computer Games, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I really like how Fingerprint makes the creation of multiple accounts harder by using device signals, which helps me identify specific users or fake users. I also appreciate that the initial setup is very easy, with straightforward tracking code placement in the header. This ease of setup is one of the best things about Fingerprint for me.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

every ting good but price need improve

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fingerprint to monitor visitor information and detect if users are using proxies or fake IP, which helps prevent the creation of multiple accounts on our site.

 ### 30. Effortless Trial Abuse Prevention with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Noah N. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

Fingerprint gave me the confidence to offer unpaid trials for my paid software. Once I saw how effective Fingerprint was at detecting when the same user or computer created multiple accounts, I was able to reduce trial abuse to a manageable level. Even users with some technical knowledge would find it difficult to bypass Fingerprint. Simply using a VPN, browsing in incognito mode, or changing session headers isn’t enough to fool Fingerprint into generating a new user ID.

The integration process was straightforward. When used alongside Amplitude, I have all the tools I need to provide a strong user experience while keeping trial abuse in check.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Fingerprint is a bit pricy, but if you're a SaaS owner with enough sign-ups to worry about trial abuse, it pays for itself quickly.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I no longer worry about trial abuse. By making it easier for users to begin trials, the number of sign-ups has grown significantly.

 ### 31. Effortless Integration & Reliable Fingerprinting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David K. | Product Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I really appreciate Fingerprint's ease of integration. The documentation is outstanding, providing a great developer experience. Signing up for a free trial and starting to make API requests took me under fifteen minutes, which is incredibly efficient compared to other fingerprinting solutions. These other solutions often require over fifteen minutes just to set up a sales call, and they don't offer as much publicly accessible documentation as Fingerprint does. Using Fingerprint, I was able to integrate it without any issues, entirely on my own, thanks to their thorough documentation and developer portal. Overall, the setup process felt like a dream come true, being super easy and straightforward. Furthermore, I value how the system helps with reliable device fingerprinting, empowering us to implement account security features effectively. With Fingerprint, we can determine whether login requests or sessions originate from the same device or a new one.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

I don’t have any complaints about the product.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fingerprint for reliable device fingerprinting, enhancing account security by identifying login requests from the same or new devices. It integrates easily with my identity platform, saving time with excellent documentation and quick setup.

 ### 32. Effortless Integration and Reliable Security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pramesh B.

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I found Fingerprint very easy to use and the integration didn't take time at all. I loved the UI and the experience when integrating it. The initial setup was super easy, and the YouTube videos from Fingerprint are very clear. I'm glad we chose Fingerprint because it provided multiple features that we were exactly looking for.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

The only feedback, which is super small, is that they send constant emails about minor version updates, and it shows up as a severe health issue in the dashboard. A minor version bump should not show 'Severe issue' in the platform. But again, this is not something I mind. It is just a small thing.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fingerprint to detect if users are logging in or creating accounts from the same device, ensuring they aren't using tools like FRIDA or cloned apps.

 ### 33. Effective Fraud Prevention with Quick Setup And detect VM And Proxy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** NICHOLAS S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I appreciate Fingerprint's ability to provide reliable information to make decisions, especially with its VM and proxy detection features. It's useful for identifying users trying to create multiple accounts to get repeated discounts. The initial setup was easy, and the support team was very good, directly addressing any issues I faced.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

I think the price is a bit high. The minimal plan on Fingerprint costs $100, but I feel like there should be a more affordable mini plan, maybe around $30 or $40, especially for medium or small sites.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fingerprint to stop users from creating multiple accounts with proxies or VMs to abuse discounts, ensuring fair use. It's great that it detects proxy and VM usage, helping maintain account integrity.

 ### 34. Cost-Effective, Robust User Account Protection

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mahmoud E. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

What I like the most about Fingerprint is that it's economic and not that expensive. It's also very specific, targeting my needs effectively. The customer care is very professional and they provide a flexible interview to explain the cost and benefits of having Fingerprint. They even offered me a free trial and extended it for two months, allowing me to decide without any pressure.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

I'm so satisfied about the needs I have for Fingerprint. And I would appreciate more if they provide some form of detailed packages so that I can choose whatever I need. And I could remove anything I don't need, so I can pay less.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint helps me identify account sharing on my medical courses website and disables suspicious activities, ensuring no unauthorized access.

 ### 35. Reliable User Identification with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tanvika S. | Pharmaceuticals

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I like how easy Fingerprint is to use and integrate. The setup is straightforward, and it fits smoothly with existing systems without requiring complex changes. The documentation is clear, which saves a lot of time and effort during setup. Fingerprint reliably identifies users without depending only on cookies, ensuring consistent user identification even when users clear cookies or use incognito mode. This reliability reduces errors and improves security. I also appreciate the consistent performance and the helpful support when needed.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

One area that could be improved is clearer guidance for handling edge cases, such as users with very strict privacy settings or uncommon device configurations. More examples and best-practice recommendations in the documentation would also be helpful, especially for new users.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fingerprint to consistently identify and track users across devices and sessions, solving issues like fraud, duplicate accounts, and security challenges, even when cookies are cleared.

 ### 36. Enhanced Security and Ease of Use with Fingerprint

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pascal F. | Travailleur indépendant

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I use Fingerprint as an artist because it is really the most secure thing. I find that the application is super simple to use. Once configured, it is truly the most secure. Even if my phone is stolen, I can use my computer to locate and search for it, because fingerprints cannot be used by the thief. The fingerprint is unique in the world, I find that perfect. I have adopted it permanently because previously I used a simple code that could be easily removed. Now, with Fingerprint, everything is tip-top and perfect. I have nothing to change, it is really the most secure application for me.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Honestly, nothing at first seemed like it would be difficult to grasp the technique so that when we make the fingerprint, we have to put our fingers afterwards and turn the thumb in all directions and everything, it really works as soon as I place it on, bam it doesn't trigger, so there is no problem, everything is really perfect. Stay like that.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fingerprint because it is the most secure thing to prevent unauthorized access, even in case my phone is stolen.

 ### 37. Fingerprint: Fast, Secure, and User-Friendly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vidhya S. | Senior Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

I find Fingerprint to be a reliable and user-friendly application. The fingerprint authentication is smooth and helps improve security while saving time. I like the simple, easy-to-navigate interface that reduces the need to remember multiple passwords. The speed and ease of use are outstanding, with quick and reliable authentication making logging in seamless. I also appreciate the added layer of security it provides for secure access and identity verification. The integration with other applications is smooth and consistent, which makes authentication easier across platforms. Plus, the initial setup was very easy and quick, with straightforward steps for fingerprint registration.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Occasionally, fingerprint recognition can be inconsistent, especially if the finger is not placed correctly. Improving accuracy in such cases and providing clearer guidance during failed attempts would make the experience even better.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint solves the issue of managing multiple passwords by providing secure, fast authentication with biometric verification, reducing unauthorized access risks and saving login time.

 ### 38. Effortless Setup, Needs Better UI/UX

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shubha B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I use Fingerprint for user tracking, which helps me with bot detection and obtaining user visit details. I like the persistent device info and real-time visitor count features because they allow me to make a device trusted if I notice the same device coming with a user. Also, setting up Fingerprint was really easy. I've already recommended Fingerprint to my friends.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

The UI UX can be more better. The data showing is not that user friendly, it can be better.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fingerprint for bot detection and detailed user visit information. It helps me identify trusted devices by tracking persistent device info and provides real-time visitor counts.

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I think Fingerprint is very good at blocking automation tools from creating accounts on our website. It does a good job at detecting fraud and doesn't damage the UX and UI. I also find the initial setup to be very good and easy, especially with the chat AI helping me to complete it. It's very good.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Actually, everything worked finally, but, the pricing need improved because it's hard for small business.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fingerprint to identify and block fake accounts and automation tools, effectively saving our platform from unwanted activities and maintaining a quality user experience.

 ### 40. Exceptional Accuracy and Seamless Integration for Fraud Prevention

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jashwanth K. | Sr. Manager - Marketing & Events, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

Fingerprint is a highly reliable and well-designed solution for user identification and fraud prevention. What stands out most is its accuracy in identifying users across different devices and browsers, even in complex environments where traditional methods often fail. The integration process is straightforward, and the documentation is clear, making it easy for developers to get started quickly. I also appreciate Fingerprint’s strong focus on privacy and security, which is critical in today’s digital landscape. Overall, it’s a powerful and trustworthy tool for businesses looking to reduce fraud while maintaining a smooth user experience.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Fingerprint is a powerful and reliable solution for user identification and fraud prevention. Its accuracy across devices and browsers is impressive, and the integration process is smooth with well-documented APIs. The platform places a strong emphasis on security and privacy, which is reassuring for businesses handling sensitive user data.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint solves the problem of accurately identifying users across devices and browsers in environments where traditional methods like cookies or IP tracking are unreliable. It helps prevent fraud, detect suspicious activity, and reduce duplicate or fake accounts. For us, this means improved security, better trust in user data, and fewer fraudulent transactions, while still maintaining a smooth and seamless experience for genuine users.

 ### 41. Effective Fraud Monitoring with Easy Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I think Fingerprint has a really usable coding integration for Python and JavaScript. It's really easy to integrate, and it provides many different markers that are useful in identifying fraudulent activity. The initial setup was very easy too.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

I think there are a lot of changes right now. One thing that we're navigating is the difference in schemas. Once the data structure becomes a little bit more consistent and static, then I think we'll be smooth sailing.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fingerprint to gather device info and run fraud monitoring workflows, helping identify fraudulent actors based on device metadata.

 ### 42. Great Support - Great Product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

Better Proximity detection has allowed us to better identify previous promotional uses (promotional abuse) and fraud. As a B2C e-commerce platform dealing with digital goods, Fingerprint has allowed us navigate state/local taxes to apply when applicable.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Rules Engine to block Fraud/Abuse is a nice addition and currently looking forward to see it out of Beta with more features before implementing.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving us the ability to identify with confidence if a fraudulent user tries to come back to our platform. We are now better able to shutdown any potential fraudulent transactions before they happen as opposed to discovering them later whether other internal reporting or worse case scenario a chargeback already occurred. Recently we enabled Fingerprint at user sign up for Promotional Offering which would not have been as effective with other unique user identifying properties to give us confidence to push forward with the promotions.

 ### 43. Reliable Security Tool, But Pricey as We Grow

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandeep S. | Senior System Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I appreciate Fingerprint for its accuracy and ease of integration, which works reliably and helps us without adding more complexity to the application. It was quite straightforward to set up and integrate with .NET. Fingerprint is also valuable for device identification and security, reducing fake and duplicate account activity while providing clear visibility and monitoring.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Pricing feels a bit high as usage grows across multiple projects.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fingerprint for device identification, improving security and login monitoring, reducing fake account activity, and providing clear visibility.

 ### 44. Effortless Integration and Peace of Mind with Fingerprint

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** randolph A.

**Reviewed Date:** December 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I like the simplicity of dragging and dropping Fingerprint into my project, whether it's React or something else, and the simple API calls needed from the backend. The ability to add it to DNS entries so I don't have to worry about ad blockers disabling it is amazing. Setting it up once and forgetting about it as Fingerprint updates their systems gives me peace of mind because I haven't had a single issue since implementing it.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Understanding the user interface, that's, like, the only real problem. They try to make it so simplistic, it in turn makes it difficult. It's hard to find where certain aspects are since it's mostly focused on analytics. It's hard to find how to change your plan, how to upgrade it. You know, changes between your different plans. There's a lot of annoyance there, but other than that, it's a beautiful application.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fingerprint to cross-associate new user identities with preexisting ones, eliminating the need to develop custom fingerprinting systems. It reduces stress and ensures I don't worry about updates. I can set it up once and forget about it, with no issues since implementation.

 ### 45. Effortless Setup, Powerful Fraud Prevention

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam B.

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I like how easy it is to set up Fingerprint. I also appreciate the ability to see fingerprint IDs coming into the app. It provides insights into where users are coming from, how many times they've returned, the pages they've visited, and the devices they were on. I find it helpful for seeing if they were using any VPNs or developer tools when accessing the site, which helps in identifying bad actors.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

One thing I would say is we have to set up a Redis back end to keep track of fingerprints in the last 24 hours or 30 days. It'd be great if this was built into Fingerprint itself so we could actually track this without having to use Redis because it's already there.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fingerprint for identifying users on my app to prevent fraud from returning users or people using developer tools or hacking. It allows us to track and block bad actors by seeing fingerprint IDs, visitor origins, and device details.

 ### 46. Fingerprint: Fraud prevention and easy setup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** DerWASAGA H. | Softwareingenieur

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I really appreciate the very generous support because the team noticeably takes care of us. Additionally, I really like the open source offering. It is especially helpful for developers who want to familiarize themselves with the topic before using it commercially. It is a powerful open source offering with which you can start and test. The initial setup of Fingerprint was very, very easy.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Yes, there is. Specifically, I don't like it at all when Fingerprint sends a lot of newsletters sometimes, along with onboarding steps. Of course, that's helpful, but when you register for the trial or something and then you want to start only in the week or so. It might be practical if there was an option to delay it. But otherwise, there's really nothing I find bad about it.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint prevents fraud and account takeovers. Previously, we had to take complicated measures, but now Fingerprint effectively and reliably protects our sessions.

 ### 47. Efficient Fraud Detection with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Srinidhi H. | Senior Product Manager – Enterprise Integrations and Data Solutions, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I like the self-serve platform of Fingerprint because it requires less contact with developers if there's a problem. The analytics are good and visually comprehensive. It's also easily made for developers. The AI answers most of the ticket questions, and the support people are really good.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

I was recently trying to find IPv6 as a specific feature in Fingerprint where usually IPv4 is available, but IPv6 is not. Some browsers give IPv6, and I couldn't find it even through AI. So, yeah, there is enhancement possible as the technology grows, and more features for full visibility of data are always needed.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fingerprint for fraud detection, analyzing reviews to rate bots, store browsers, VPNs, and proxy servers, triangulating signals to develop a fraud algorithm.

 ### 48. Stellar Support Despite Integration Challenges

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Youssef M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

The support team is fantastic and very speedy when I ask for help, especially through my website. They are very, very helpful, particularly when I had difficulty integrating Fingerprint with my website. The setup was easy for me because of the support team's help.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

I integrated Fingerprint with my website, and the process was very difficult. The integration is challenging and feels like a risk in terms of time. The initial setup was tough for me, kind of like when you're married, the first time everything is hard. Once you get past it, things become easier.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fingerprint to identify devices and distinguish real visits from fake ones, protecting my website's ad revenue even when users change their IP addresses.

 ### 49. Effortless Integration and Insightful Fraud Detection

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eugen B. | CEO

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I love that Fingerprint is freeware and it was super easy to integrate into our App SDK for Android and iOS. The dashboard with the collected data is also very useful. Our Dev team integrated Fingerprint into our App within a few days, and now we use the collected data for several business decisions. All data is delivered to our Data Warehouse through the Fingerprint API.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

I guess the only thing that could be improved is that there would be some more automatically suggested fraud-detection alerts. Like 'this resolution of an iPhone 17 Pro Max is not matching to the active resolution of the device.'

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint helps us identify fraud users and activities, see insights like emulator usage and device resets. It's easy to integrate and delivers data to our warehouse, supporting business decisions.

 ### 50. Essential for Fraud Detection and Bot Detection

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Publishing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

Fingerprint.JS is very simple to integrate, it is fast and provides a lot of information related to the user's browser, their geolocation, and can identify whether the user is real or a bot. It quickly allows me to have a lot of information that enables me to be effective in fraud detection and bot detection, all by integrating a simple JavaScript on the page.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

The only aspect I would improve is the response times to get the smart signals. Fingerprint is quite fast, but it could be better.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint helps me detect users who use private browsing, preventing them from bypassing our paywall. It quickly provides a lot of useful information for detecting fraud and bots, all with a simple integrated JavaScript.

**Official Response from Alvin Ciby:**

> Thank you for your kind words and feedback! Please feel free to reach out to our support team to follow up on any additional feedback or questions
