The enrichment process often provides businesses with verified email addresses and phone numbers but can also add more details, such as company information and job titles. Since most business contact information is private and customers typically wouldn’t want to receive unsolicited communication, lead intelligence software can be a great option for companies to validate their lead data and maintain accurate and high-quality lead information in their database. Sales departments mainly use this solution, but it can also be used by marketing to better target potential customers with their campaigns.

Lead intelligence software is focused on the enrichment, verification, and acquisition of leads. These tools should not be confused with products that only provide access to lists of contacts or have limited-to-no functionality for managing that information.
