Compared to other project management tools, favro offers much more possibilities for project presentation and collaboration. As a tool, favro adapts to your own workflows. With other tools, the team has to get used to the software and change their own structures. **What do you dislike about Favro?** It lacks the ability to create timesheets and the associated export for customers. Furthermore, it would be good to have an overview of projects to which you can book various subtasks and then evaluate the whole thing at the project level as a statement. **What problems is Favro solving and how is that benefiting you?** Complex project management for different but overlapping teams presented challenges for us as an agency. Working better as a team during Corona in the home office was much easier with Favro. Sub-tasks and details are no longer overlooked and the error rate is reduced. Favro is great for both IT and marketing teams. With favro we can easily create cards, share them with other teams and link cards together which is an appreciated function. In favro we can also easily create a card and show them in several boards which is a paint point in trello if we have several boards that need to show some crossed items. Backlogs are great for organizing batches of tasks and keeping those separate from the workflow on boards. This means we can pre-plan a load of things that need to get done and separate them by type and then developers can grab cards from the backlog to be placed in the workflow boards. Favro is also highly flexible allowing different companies and even teams to change the way they set up and present their workflows. **What do you dislike about Favro?** They are based in Sweden, so sometimes have to wait for a half day for a response from their agents. It works similarly to Google Docs when collaborating on a single card. **What do you dislike about Favro?** * Poor integration with JIRA. The custom views per user are important too, I use Sheet view the most, it helps me, as a Scrum Master, keep an eye on the sprints, and add total Story Points and Timesheets easily, while others on my team will exclusively use Card view because they find it the most useful for their purposes. Nesting cards within the backlog has become important as we create Epics with broken down cards within those Epics - new functionality that brings the main card over to the backlog has been convenient. **What do you dislike about Favro?** We've run into a number of bugs on our boards which are frustrating. Our Cumulative charts display incorrectly, our Story Point Totals functionality in each lane inconsistently displays totals from specific columns instead of the total for the whole lane. Another challenge we run into a lot, when we convert a checkbox entry in a card, to a new card, we usually want to also link that card where it originated - it's become a bit of a tedious practice to, convert to a card, and attach the card. **What problems is Favro solving and how is that benefiting you?** Knowing what is happening in terms of work, and transparency in our organization, without micromanaging. I'll list a few; - As Simple or Complex as you need | The interface itself is lovely. If you're used to tools like Trello and feeling like you need just a bit more, this is it. You can get the simplicity of Trello with the capability of being as complex as you need. It's more than just boards, there are many types of planning "structures" you can work with. - Incredible Design Team | The team has been working *with* it's users to provide a unique and streamlined planning tool. - Automations | You can AUTOMATE things, yes! It's very nifty too, allowing you to not only automate when things happen *inside* the editor, but you can hook up to their API and use Webhooks as well! - Templates | Self-explanatory **What do you dislike about Favro?** There isn't much to complain about honestly. When you do have a complaint, most of the time when you reach out to the team they're already working on it or are open to making changes. (I've had many implemented just from suggesting a feature, it's kind of wild to see a team this engaged actually.) I will say though, I'd like to see improvements on the desktop/mobile version, and a dark-mode. I have used it in two companies (software and hardware development) and it is adaptable to the organization. It is also easy to maintain thereby integrating well within my day-to-day workflow. I like that the views adapt quickly to anyone's workflow and help visualize the information so quickly. **What do you dislike about Favro?** I do not like some of the formatting within cards (bullets & tables can be frustrating to get right). I end up linking to Google Sheets or Docs sometimes instead. Some of the templates seem to be focused heavily on software development (we do hardware also) and so we end up defaulting to a basic Kanban style and building it from there. It works for us, but I think we are missing out compared to the built in templates. **What problems is Favro solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are able to communicate more effectively as a remote team. Each team member can see what others are working on, comment, assist, and share the workload. This is critical in our company as we are very early stage. The file sharing mechanism is also very helpful and works every time. Simply drag and drop the file and Favro keeps it organized well within the card. This makes it easy for sharing drawings, presentations, CAD files - anything we have been able to throw at it so far. The search functionality is also fantastic. I used to spend a lot of time searching through past notes to find specific pieces of information, but Favro finds it all effectively with just a few key words. ### 50.
