What is Favro, and what problem is it built to solve?

Favro is a cloud-based planning and collaboration tool for teams managing complex business tasks. It is designed to help teams adapt their workflows, organize and track work across departments, and collaborate in one place.

What languages does Favro support?

Favro supports 1 language: English.

What company sizes and industries is Favro the best fit for?

Favro appears to be a strong fit for positively rated users in smaller and mid-sized organizations, especially in software and game development. The most represented segments include:
  • Small businesses: A prominent company-size group among positive users.
  • Mid-market organizations: Also well represented across the positive feedback.
  • Computer games: A particularly visible industry, with users applying Favro to project and production workflows.
  • Computer software and IT services: These industries also feature prominently among positive users.

How long does it take to implement Favro across a team?

Reported implementation times range from getting started in a day to taking several months, with under a month the most common reported range. Other reported timelines include:
Time to go live Relative frequency
Under 1 month Most frequently reported
Under 1 day Also reported
1–3 months Also reported
3–6 months Reported less often
6–12 months Reported less often

What customer support options does Favro provide, and how do users find the overall support experience?

Support is available through chat, email/help desk, and self-service resources such as a knowledge base; 24/7 live-rep support is also offered. The support experience is mixed but often described as responsive and helpful, while some users have found answers slow or less tailored than they needed.

What is the experience like for teams switching to Favro from another tool?

Switching to Favro has often meant trading a more rigid or complicated setup for workflows teams can shape around their work. Users describe moving from tools such as Jira, Trello, monday.com, and other project or task platforms to gain more flexibility, clearer collaboration across teams, or a simpler interface; some also cite a need for capabilities their previous tool lacked. The transition can involve setting up and learning a new structure, but users describe the result as a more adaptable way to organize projects and tasks.

What features or capabilities could make Favro even more useful?

Favro could be more useful with stronger reporting and more control over how teams automate and navigate their work. Commonly requested improvements include:
  • Reporting and dashboards: Make it easier to build custom reports, view trends, and bring information together across boards.
  • Automation: Add more triggers, actions, and customization for multi-step workflows and notifications.
  • Search and filters: Make it easier to find and sort cards across large backlogs, boards, and teams.
  • Mobile experience: Improve the mobile app’s usability and make key project-management tasks easier on smaller screens.
  • Permissions: Provide more granular controls over what guests and different user groups can view or edit.

"Very intuitive tool for project management, work tracking, and collaboration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Favro?

* Easy to use and customizable UI. It is very intuitive to navigate, especially when compared to other project management tools.

* Multiple boards within a single collection. Think of it as boards within boards. It may not sound like a game-changing feature, but it is.

* Realtime updates to boards and cards when there are multiple people collaborating on them. It works similarly to Google Docs when collaborating on a single card. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Favro?

* Poor integration with JIRA. Some teams rely on JIRA to get their work done, and Favro does not play nicely with it.

* Cannot apply templates to newly created cards (templates can only be assigned to an entire board).

* Rich formatting tools could be a bit better, especially for tables within cards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Favro takes the stress out of organising projects so more time can be spent on the details"
4/5
What do you like best about Favro?

Favro is very fast to set up and the pre made templates mean you can get started instantly. Favro has the ability to import existing projects from an Excel workbook which was very useful. Visually, Favro gives a very clear and simple breakdown of tasks to be completed in whichever view you use, although we favoured the kanban. The best part of the Favro experience was the support from the Favro team who have great product knowledge and are very responsive to emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Favro?

It can take time to explore the many automations available, but these are easy to use once explained. Notifications can be slow to come through and it is hard to see where 'mentions' are when using the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Favro?

It's not something wrong, but to get more powerful reports you have to pay even more for the license. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"In depth use, with an appreciation for consistently finding new features"
5/5
What do you like best about Favro?

I personally like the customization, we have a many boards, and they seem to all be set up differently, and each team has their own custom process for what works well. The custom views per user are important too, I use Sheet view the most, it helps me, as a Scrum Master, keep an eye on the sprints, and add total Story Points and Timesheets easily, while others on my team will exclusively use Card view because they find it the most useful for their purposes. Nesting cards within the backlog has become important as we create Epics with broken down cards within those Epics - new functionality that brings the main card over to the backlog has been convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Favro?

We've run into a number of bugs on our boards which are frustrating. Our Cumulative charts display incorrectly, our Story Point Totals functionality in each lane inconsistently displays totals from specific columns instead of the total for the whole lane. Another challenge we run into a lot, when we convert a checkbox entry in a card, to a new card, we usually want to also link that card where it originated - it's become a bit of a tedious practice to, convert to a card, and attach the card. "Absolutely Phenomenal Tool"

What do you like best about Favro?

There are a lot of things to love about this software. I'll list a few;

- As Simple or Complex as you need | The interface itself is lovely. If you're used to tools like Trello and feeling like you need just a bit more, this is it. You can get the simplicity of Trello with the capability of being as complex as you need. It's more than just boards, there are many types of planning "structures" you can work with.

- Incredible Design Team | The team has been working *with* it's users to provide a unique and streamlined planning tool.

- Automations | You can AUTOMATE things, yes! It's very nifty too, allowing you to not only automate when things happen *inside* the editor, but you can hook up to their API and use Webhooks as well!

- Templates | Self-explanatory Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Favro?

There isn't much to complain about honestly. When you do have a complaint, most of the time when you reach out to the team they're already working on it or are open to making changes. (I've had many implemented just from suggesting a feature, it's kind of wild to see a team this engaged actually.)

I will say though, I'd like to see improvements on the desktop/mobile version, and a dark-mode. The web application works very smooth, but the other two could definitely use improvements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Favro is simple to use and fully capable."
5/5
What do you like best about Favro?

Favro is easy to use and very customizable. I have used it in two companies (software and hardware development) and it is adaptable to the organization. It is also easy to maintain thereby integrating well within my day-to-day workflow. I like that the views adapt quickly to anyone's workflow and help visualize the information so quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Favro?

I do not like some of the formatting within cards (bullets & tables can be frustrating to get right). I end up linking to Google Sheets or Docs sometimes instead.

Some of the templates seem to be focused heavily on software development (we do hardware also) and so we end up defaulting to a basic Kanban style and building it from there. It works for us, but I think we are missing out compared to the built in templates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
