What do you like best about Fastpath?

The accessibility to the Support Team. We have been able to use so much more of the tools' functionality thanks to the responsiveness and competence of the FastPath support team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fastpath?

I wish the functionality associated with automating access reviews was more robust. Because we can't capture the information we need for signoffs via the workflow process, we end up exporting the access reports and tracking compliance via email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Fastpath:

Take advantage of all of the numerous Knowledge Sharing options from FrastPath. They have lots of online training material and live training sessions, and their support staff can answer any questions quickly and competently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Fastpath solving and how is that benefiting you?

We export user access reports and user conflict reports to facilitate our user access reviews and SOD reviews and perform ad hoc analysis. Also, as we are building new roles in our efforts to implement role-based security, we use the Segregation of Duties module to analyze an impacts on internal controls. "Great software for analyzing SOD's, role conflicts, and automating security reporting"

What do you like best about Fastpath?

The out of the box conflict ruleset to assist in SOD analysis was invaluable given the complexity of AX role design. Further, the ability to schedule reports to further automate the review preparations was useful. Support team is top notch and always responds almost immediately to any questions. Further, they tend to be flexible with customization requests and are happy to hop on calls to help configure SQL triggers if additional support is needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fastpath?

No real gripes here. Never really utilized the certification portion of the software due to other implementations we already used but no complaints about the software itself. Would maybe like to see more info around the universal product integration or more software integrations, but not really a high priority item for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Fastpath solving and how is that benefiting you?

Reducing risk from a segregation of duty perspective and helping to isolate that key changes are only made by appropriate personnel. SQL Triggers to report on any specific changes have been fantastic. Further, role and user conflict reporting following code pushes or changes helps to ensure that changes did not impact any security profiles or roles unexpectedly. WIll say that SQL trigger reporting has turned several reviews that previously were entirely manual into almost entirely automated reviews, saving us 5-6 hours a month at minimum. Recommendations to others considering Fastpath:

Look at your companies risk appetite in correlation to the size of your company as a whole and the accounting/finance department. Take this information into consideration when considering Fastpath for your SoD and Security Design. When you think this information and see that you might have a particular weak point or point for improvement, Fastpath should be considered. Looking into other areas of your organization from an audit standpoint will aid in assessing Fastpath Assure; there are plenty of tools related to security reviews, user access reviews, and identity manager. The FastPath layout and configuration for the setup of applications were straightforward. In no time, the application provided SOD and User Access reports. What do you like best about Fastpath?

Fastpath has several reports to help analyze user access that can be scheduled or generated on demand. We use Fastpath with Dynamics AX 2012 and could not imagine our security reviews without this tool! Additionally, Fastpath customer support is always quick to assist or answer any questions we have.
