We also use their reporting to record all changes made to security within our Accounting software each month. We then validate each change had appropriate authorization & was assigned correctly. These are two main SOX controls for us surrounding our Microsoft Dynamics AX Security. These controls help us feel comfortable with our security & controls. Fastpath also has a good reputation within the audit community & it helps our auditors feel comfortable as well. We have been a customer of Fastpath for over five years & have a great relationship with their team. They have helped us out in numerous scenarios when designing processes. We have set up automated prompts for access certifications based on levels of access (i.e. Administrator, or others with approved SOD flags). This certification of roles on a monthly review makes our Audit reporting super easy for both quarterly and Year-End audit reviews. We have also recently moved FastPath to Single Sign-On, which further reduces our exposure security-wise, but also helps in ITGC narrative (and reduces reporting against non-federated logins). We have used the FastPath / NetSuite integration to provision and de-provision users with NetSuite access for years without any issue. **What do you dislike about Fastpath?** When adding a new user to Fastpath, defining what they are allowed to do in FastPath can be a little time-consuming depending on what they are being allowed to do. Further, the ability to schedule reports to further automate the review preparations was useful. Support team is top notch and always responds almost immediately to any questions. Further, they tend to be flexible with customization requests and are happy to hop on calls to help configure SQL triggers if additional support is needed. **What do you dislike about Fastpath?** No real gripes here. Never really utilized the certification portion of the software due to other implementations we already used but no complaints about the software itself. Would maybe like to see more info around the universal product integration or more software integrations, but not really a high priority item for us. **What problems is Fastpath solving and how is that benefiting you?** Reducing risk from a segregation of duty perspective and helping to isolate that key changes are only made by appropriate personnel. SQL Triggers to report on any specific changes have been fantastic. Further, role and user conflict reporting following code pushes or changes helps to ensure that changes did not impact any security profiles or roles unexpectedly. WIll say that SQL trigger reporting has turned several reviews that previously were entirely manual into almost entirely automated reviews, saving us 5-6 hours a month at minimum. ### 15. I would also recommend the product to gain further knowledge around the best practices in the industry! **What problems is Fastpath solving and how is that benefiting you?** Currently I'm utilizing Fastpath Assure to develop segregation of duties business activities and build out assessments to provide for clients on a risk based approach. Additionally, I'm leveraging the critical access reports to conduct reviews with the client from both a role based and user based approach. Auditor always coming knocking on the door looking for reports showing a database log of items. Audit trail helps us provide the necessary information to track the who, what, where, and when. Security designer helps us solve the unique security requirements for very unique organizations with various levels of risk and business processes. Identity manager helps from a firefighter perspective to provide the appropriate access at the right time helping us solve the question of "why?". Overall the benefits realized are an efficient approach to solving problems on a clients behalf. ### 23. The security designer tool is super useful when making changes to user role assignments or adding new permissions to existing roles. Its great to have insight into a change's impact before actually making it. We also really like the **What do you dislike about Fastpath?** I find the navigation to be a bit convoluted when digging down deep into menus, also the names of some of the system reports aren't super descriptive so it can be a bit confusing for a new user. I think the conflict rule setup could be easier, its not entirely clear when you open up the ruleset which permissions are actually involved, you have to dig down pretty far to get to the actual permissions instead of just the containers you've defined. **What problems is Fastpath solving and how is that benefiting you?** SOD analysis of netsuite users and roles has never been easier. Frankly netsuite offers zero tools to do this without some kind of external analysis so something like fastpath is an absolute requirement if you have SOD concerns. We have been able to run our controls entirely based upon Fastpath's output, and insure ourselves against future violations by utilizing the security designer. ### 24. It is very user friendly. You can set up filter to show only the data you want to track. It took forever to run a report. We replaced it with FastPath after we upgraded to SL 2015.
