What do you like best about FAMcare?

FAMcare is extremely customizable to meet the needs of a variety of organizations. Their ability to add features seems limitless- we have yet to be told "no" when we asked for something! It is also simple to use and straightforward for our team- it took them a very short time to adjust to using it because it is so logically laid out. But the most wonderful part of our experience with FAMcare has been the incredible support we received during the development/configuration process from our Project Manager and now, during active use, from the Help Desk team. They have taught me so much so that I can continue to add to my skills with this database and they have acted swiftly to resolve any issues that have come up. The reports feature took some getting used to and they have been extremely patient and helpful as we have worked through our agency's needs for reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FAMcare?

For us, FAMcare is much more expensive than what we were using, however, it meets so many more of our needs than our prevous database. We have not yet added billable services to our FAMcare array of services but the ability to bill through this system was one of the reasons we were motivated to move over to them and were willing to take on the extra costs. For me, the biggest challenge has been adjusting to the reporting tool- I did not know any SQL prior to beginning my work with FAMcare and that would have been a big help in getting me up to speed on the reports faster but with the assitance of the Help Desk team I am making progress and have learned a lot.
