What problems is Extreme Networks solving and how is that benefiting you?

At our organization, we have made a strategic decision to adopt Extreme Networking as the backbone of our entire network infrastructure. This choice was driven by the need for a comprehensive and reliable networking solution that could cater to our diverse requirements, ranging from traditional wired connections to the increasing demand for wireless connectivity.

Extreme Networking offers a wide range of networking products and solutions, and their ability to provide both wired and wireless infrastructure was a major factor in our decision-making process. We have a variety of devices and endpoints within our organization, including desktop computers, servers, laptops, mobile devices, and IoT devices. By adopting Extreme Networking, we were able to establish a cohesive network environment that seamlessly integrates wired Ethernet connections and wireless access points. What do you like best about Extreme Networks?

Extreme switches design mode is awesome as compared to other switches.

Ease in managing configuration part with the configuration commands.

What do you dislike about Extreme Networks?

Costly in contrast, but demands the quality.

For ensuring the quality and user demands, price may high.

High end switch(core-switch) are less in count.

Outages monitoring and resolving are the major part involved in Extreme switch.

I am financially benefitting by using this product.

What do you like best about Extreme Networks?

Complete turnkey solution and highly reliable. Nms of extreme networks is an all encompassing solution with compatibility with other companies' solutions. Solution designing is also very easy in extreme networks. I am a certified design expert. Earning this certificate was very easy as the solution sizing and network designing is very easy with the tools available on the partner portal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Extreme Networks?

A bit expensive than other competing solutions. Other than that extreme networks has no problems whatsoever. Extreme networks should have an aggressive marketing team so as to panetrate well especially in Pakistan market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Extreme Networks?

They have an end to end solution to support your enterprise/organization. The hardware is user friendly, the GUI of the switches is easy to use and understand. The initial setup is also very convenient. I have come across stack switches which are easy to setup. In the scenario one can manage all the switches in stack with one interface thus avoiding the overhead of logging into individual switch each time. What do you dislike about Extreme Networks?

Luckily, i have not come across any such situation where i disliked the product. Probably faced a bit of overhead during installation or support but that is not related to the performance of the product of the company. On the technical grounds i personally did not find drawbacks.
