# Which engineering document management software supports role-based approval workflows and immutable revision history so every change is traceable back to who approved what?

But there&#39;s an audit dimension: when a released drawing has to be recalled, can the system tell auditors definitively which users had access to it, when they accessed it, and whether they made changes?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
