It really helps with legal issues where we do not have to give access to outside sources to our LMS. **What do you dislike about EVERFI Workplace Training?** We wish the SCORM files were more mobile-friendly. In fact, why would a male professor EVER close the door when he is alone in a room with a female student? The portrayal described in one of the EVERFI videos about sexual harassment seems so off the mark that one of my colleagues compared it to a Saturday Night Live spoof. They offer a wide range of content provided to Schools at no cost to the teacher. The content ranges from business education to science and math and covers health related topics as well. It provides a lot of life skills that might not be covered in a regular classroom otherwise. Each program is interactive and pretty fun for the student. One thing that I found interesting was that last year they offered us the opportunity to have someone come to our classroom and talk about the program in person, so we did that and it was an amazing opportunity for our students to ask questions as well as learn more about the platform. **What do you dislike about EVERFI Workplace Training?** One thing that I would change is to make the programs easier to navigate. There are certain programs that make a student stay on a screen for a specific amount of time, and for some students who read fast or already know the content it can become boring for them to just sit and wait. If you navigate away from a training video, for example to look at another browser tab or document, the training will automatically pause and wait for your return. This makes it a little more difficult to breeze through the training, as many are likely to do over the course of a busy work day. The harassment training was aesthetically pleasing and intuitive/straightforward to use and access. It was informative without being overwhelming or boring. **What do you dislike about EVERFI Workplace Training?** Like most software in this arena, it is relatively easy to "zone out" and go through the motions of clicking through the slides without absorbing much information, although Everfi does a good job of making viewers stay more or less engaged with the content. One of the upsides to using Everfi is the ease of uploading multiple students through a .csv file. They are broken up into small parts. I also like how I can view the progress of the students. I also like that I can reset their password. I like that students can retake the quiz if they don't do well. The topics are relevant and students can use the information they learn, and apply it to life. **What do you dislike about EVERFI Workplace Training?** The students get bored of it. It would be great if there was less talking, and more interactive material. They love any type of game. I don't like the long survey that pops up when registering. I would not mind if it was a quick survey, but it is very long. Also, students often forget their login and password. It is great for when I have a substitute teacher too. The content goes along with what I teach as well. At the top I have my toolbar with what I customize on it. The reports center which I use most often gives me multitude of choices. They give me charts to show the data. It is free and easy to manage. It allows me to recommend to other teachers, and I have had multiple teachers decide to use aspects of Everfi. **What do you dislike about EVERFI Workplace Training?** Sometimes there are issues when students finish a task. Every once in a while we have to reload the page, and it makes the students start over. This frustrates the students. There is also a slight delay from when students finish to when it shows in my dashboard, which is not a big deal, but students are quick to point out that they have finished. **Recommendations to others considering EVERFI Workplace Training:** Everfi is great to use with students. The interface is friendly for teachers to monitor students. This is different than a lot of other programs my students have used. Students must prove mastery, or it will not let them complete the program. Everfi is also free, and is supported by various agencies which is helpful when there are issues. **What problems is EVERFI Workplace Training solving and how is that benefiting you?** This provides various topics for students to use for free. I use the Digital Citizenship program-Ignition- with my students since this relates to my subject area. I use it in Middle School, but our High School uses this, too. This is self-paced which is a great experience for students as they are growing up in a technology world.
