## About Estuary
Estuary, formerly known as Estuary Flow, is the dependable Right-Time Data Platform that unifies CDC, batch, streaming, and app-sync pipelines into one managed system. Instead of stitching together brittle stacks like Kafka + Debezium or juggling separate ELT, CDC, and streaming tools, you get a single platform that powers analytics, operations, and AI with the cadence and cost control you choose. Move data at the right time for the job: sub-second for operations and AI, near-real-time for applications, or scheduled batch for analytics. Estuary lets you dial latency up or down without changing tools or paying unpredictable MAR-based pricing. Deploy anywhere — SaaS, BYOC, or fully private — with enterprise-grade reliability, exactly-once semantics, deterministic recovery, and strong compliance. And with Kafka API compatibility, Estuary plugs into your existing ecosystem without the operational burden of running Kafka. With Estuary, you get predictable pricing, flexible deployment, and pipelines that "just work": delivering dependable data for analytics, operations, and AI.

## Estuary Reviews
 ### 1. Effortless Data Replication and Cost Savings with Estuary

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clayton W. | Head of data, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

Estuary eliminates the need to stand up and maintain costly infrastructure, like kafka topics and data pipelines. It's replication from any source to cloud data warehouses made simple and very cost effective.

Implementation and integration is also dead easy!

Lastly, their customer support teams are very responsive and resolve issues immediately.

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

The UI needs a little polishing but that will come with time. It's lacking in data observability and pipeline observability features, but those are also coming and luckily the service is very reliable.

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using snowflake to serve customer facing analytics and needed up-to-date data from our main product database which resides in AWS aurora. Since we're a small startup, we didn't have the time and resources to dedicate to costly middleware infrastructure builds and maintenance, like kafka topics and data pipelines that consume from them. We tried using Airbyte and experienced very poor performance and failures with binlogs.

Fivetran is way too expensive given the size and frequency of our data loads.

Estuary is a perfect solution and provides near real time data replication at the right price.

 ### 2. Effortless to Use, Perfect for Beginners

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mirza C. | Data and solutions analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

Ease of use. even though i didn't really have much experience with data pipelines i was able to get things running and have not had any major issues. Easy to use, Also i hardly ever have to come in and adjust things

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

Pretty happy with what the product is. But if the guys do read this i would love some consistently updated "how to" video content from the team . I feel like theres so much more i could be doing but since i usually struggle to find any online content i let things be . Even if they had some course available because i believe that the beauty of this product is that it has a low barrier to entry which means lots of non-data people will use it . So will be great to have some quality training material

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data pipelines. Work at what was initially a sort of start up . So our data team was like 2 people. We needed to pull in lots of data from 3rd party services but didn't have the man power to build and maintain so many pipelines , thus estuary was a huge win as it allowed us to keep the team lean but the operations flowing.

 ### 3. Seamless integration and outstanding customer support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yorgos P. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

We’ve been using Estuary Flow for 9 months now, and our experience has been consistently excellent. We were up and running in just minutes, syncing CloudSQL for Postgres with MotherDuck effortlessly. The ease of integration was remarkable — no roadblocks, no complexity. What stands out even more is the super-prompt, customer-centric support team, who consistently go above and beyond to ensure success. Their responsiveness makes all the difference, and it’s clear that they care deeply about us succeeding with their great product.

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

Nothing, really. Minor glitches experienced in the first days (while testing our integration) were resolved promptly. We have experienced zero issues since.

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Estuary Flow is solving the challenge of moving large volumes of commerce data reliably and in near-real time from our operational systems into our OLAP database, reducing the operational overhead for our team.

 ### 4. With quick initial setup, moving to Estuary is a low-hanging fruit to decrease costs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

For initial and basic setup, Estuary offers a fast and cost-effective way to integrate major data sources. I was able to connect my MongoDB to Snowflake for analytics purposes within just a few hours, which is something I haven't seen any other tool accomplish. I switched from Fivetran to Estuary to achieve lower latency and to significantly reduce my expenses for both Fivetran and Snowflake.

After more than a year, I am using more data sources and destinations on daily basis. In this period, error messages in the UI have become more helpful (yet still are not perfect) when debugging connections to a new data source.

The founder, David, is very hands-on and has been extremely helpful, taking the time to explain configuration quirks and respond to feature requests on several occasions. The Slack channel serves as the main and efficient way to get support.

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

Setting up the tool does demand a certain amount of data engineering work. While this is likely true for any platform aimed at achieving a solid level of data governance, I found the process of de-nesting JSON using slashes in variable names, as well as removing or renaming variables via the CLI, to be conceptually challenging-especially during my migration from Fivetran.

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lowering data replication latency and warehousing costs in Snowflake without need to write any connectors at my core application level.

 ### 5. Easy, Consolidated Streaming+Batch Data Ingestion

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

The biggest thing for me is that I can set up a replication job pretty quickly and not have to rebuild it every time something upstream changes. Lots of tools break when schemas drift, or when the source throws something weird, but Estuary handles most of that better than I expected, relative to other tools I've used for the same task before. I mainly use it to move operational data into my warehouse and it saves time since I don’t have to write the ingestion logic myself. The UI is simple enough that I don’t get lost trying to remember where things are.

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

When something does fail, I don’t always get enough detail or logs to actually understand what's happening. I end up guessing until I narrow it down. The logs feel a little too abstracted for me, who wants more visibility into what the connector is doing. Also, some connectors feel more stable than others, so I’ve had a few situations where I had to restart a job for no clear reason. It works great, but as with anything, it’s not perfect, and sometimes the troubleshooting takes longer than I'd like.

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It mostly saves me from writing and maintaining my own replication pipelines. I use it for moving data from a few operational systems into my warehouse so I can analyze it and surface it to the business. Before this, I had a mix of custom scripts, some batch ingestion tools, other real-time streaming tools, and the mix and mashing and context switching was frustrating to keep up with, especially when communicating these inconsistencies to downstream business users. Estuary isn’t perfect, but it cuts down the amount of code I have to maintain and consolidates everything into one tool for ingestion. It keeps things running well enough that I can focus on other parts of the data stack.

 ### 6. Effortless Setup, Outstanding Support, and Seamless Scalability

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott M. | Data Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

Implementing and using this platform has been very straightforward. The step-by-step guides make it easy to set up new sources and destinations. We began with only a few sources and destinations, but as our company grow, so did our reliance on Estuary. Estuary was able to scale to match our company growth.

Our sources and destinations are continuously updated, and Estuary consistently keeps our data freshness within 15 to 30 minutes of the source. The platform has proven to be highly stable. Rarely there is an outage, but when there is it is resolved promptly.

The range of sources and destinations options Estuary provides is impressive, and they are continually adding more.

On several occasions, we encountered issues importing data from our primary vendor's database, always due to the vendor updating their tables in a non-standard way. The Estuary support team found a solution to ensure our data was replicated correctly every time.

I cannot say enough positive things about their support. They are always willing to tackle the problem and come up with a solution.

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

The only downside I've encountered is when a new option is introduced, its default sometimes doesn't match behavior before the option was added. While not causing issues with the existing tables, it did cause an issue when adding a new table to an existing replication. Even though the new table was added the same as the others, the data wouldn't replicate as it did with the other tables.

Fortunately, the support team was always able to clarify what had happened and guide me on how to adjust the new option to fit our needs.

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our main vendor does not update some of their database tables in a standard way, which leads to difficulty accurately replicating the data from those tables. When this happens, we reach out to our vendor to understand their update methods. Then contact Estuary support to describe what the vendor is doing and how it affects the replicated data. Each time, Estuary has managed to develop a workaround for the issue caused by the vendor and able to accurately replicate the data on our side. Even when it required custom coding by Estuary specifically for our situation.

 ### 7. More than just connectors, Estuary gives you an extended team truly invested in your data needs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bruno V. | Data Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

- It offers support for a wide range of connectors. And if you don't find one you need—as was my case when comparing different EL tools—the team can build it for you. In my case, they implemented it within a couple of months.

- It's reliable—you can trust that what you see on the other end (e.g., your DWH) is accurate and consistent.

- The team's support is top-notch. Honestly, nothing compares to what you get with them. They're close, proactive, and genuinely invested in making things work for you. Truly a terrific experience!

- The pricing is transparent and feels fair, especially when you weigh the value you get against other competitors.

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

- At first glance, it can look like a slightly more complex tool—and it may be, especially for someone with a purely business background. But that's only because it's built to give you more flexibility and options. Once you understand the concepts and configurations, you can actually leverage them to improve your data flows.

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Estuary helps me move data from A to B—or even from one to many—at the sync frequency I choose, and it does so reliably. It saves me from having to build and maintain custom scripts or connectors myself.

 ### 8. Ease of integration, ease of use, high ROI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maximilian J. | Head, Data Science and Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

The UI/UX is seamless with plenty of free integrations to popular SaaS and PaaS tools and datalakes and datawarehouses. You pay for the volume of data you move, hence yielding a high ROI. Estuary has both cloud and on-prem capabilities, making it an extremely agile platform. On top of that, it is easy to deploy.

We use it daily and periodically to synch sources to lakehouse. Before Estuary we were using a popular integration tool, and we managed to save 10x of our bill for 1 of the source integrations. The CTO helped us cost the data flow, helping to convince our management to make the switch. It has also been highly reliable.

Slack channel provides community and Founder/CTO support, so the team listens closely.

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

Troubleshooting errors when integrations fail. Observability of the data streams could be improved.

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem it helped solve was reliability and cost.

 ### 9. Lightning-Fast Setup for Effortless Pipelines

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jack K. | Data Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

The speed of implementation. It takes a matter of minutes to set up a pipeline from source to destination. The also have great customer support on Slack.

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

Missing Timescale as a source. Ideally would be able to modify a connector to not be on 24/7 for cases where daily data extracts are required.

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us to consolidate our various data sources into a single data warehouse, thereby enabling business analytics.

 ### 10. Exceptional Reliability and Support at an Affordable Price Point

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlo P. | Senior Director of Data & Analytics, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

The reliability of the platform and the responsiveness of support.

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

Creating templates for transformations. I would prefer an easier and quicker GUI based approach.

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are moving real time data from Azure SQL to Snowflake. This has avoided us having to either find an open source solution or creating our own and maintaining it due to costs.

 ### 11. Very good tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Franco R. | Senior Data Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

I really like the IU, is friendly and easy to understand, also the real-time works as intended, and the best part is the support they have, they respond super fast in the Slack channel and they are always willing to help. To set up a new connector is pretty easy too.

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

Its not a dislike but I may need a few connectors that they don't have yet so Im not sure how I will solve that.

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were using FIvetran and they don't provide real time, and thats the reason we are testing Estuary right now, as well with the nice pricing.

 ### 12. Outstanding Support and Essential Backfill Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Otto B. | Data Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

Support actually has been more than outstanding, many hours spent talking with the estuary guys.

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

As noted in the review no issues since that first outage

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy deata ingestion

 ### 13. Real-Time real easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James W. | Infrastructure Principal, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

Estuary is easy to configure not just in the UI, but also maintain using their flow documentation specification using CI/CD processes. This means you can do a baseline configuration in the UI and then immediately push that to your programmatic processes. The team is also extremely easy to engage with on their Slack.

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

Estuary does have a small barrier to entry for configuration of your own buckets to store state as compared to other products on the market. I believe overall this is better for customer security.

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data movement for all aspects of the business; while also driving down latency to ensure the ability to use that data for any use case. Usually real-time systems such as Estuary are cost prohibitive either via engineering time to maintain a custom solution or other traditional ETL tools which are much more focused on locking you in to their system, rather than providing value.

 ### 14. ETL Data From Aws Postgres to Snowflake

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris D. | CEO Analyze Agency, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

I wanted to ETL Data from AWS Postgres to Snowflake and other AI tools. I tried a lot of routes including moving it to S3 and then to Snowflake via Snowpipe. Sometimes the data pipe worked but sometimes I have to manually run the copy queries.

After doing some research online I found out that Estuary Flow does the same pipe building with a click of a few buttons.

The same day I was able to migrate millions of rows. My S3 cost was reduced and I was able to achieve near real-time streaming.

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

Estuary can get the job done but it is not very popular within the E-comm sector. I hope they reach more people.

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have all our prod data hosted in Aws Postgres. We could not run analytical queries on them because of the size of the database. We decided to move our data to Snowflake to run OLAP queries. Estuary Flow helped us in moving the data with very little effort.

 ### 15. Great tool at a fair price

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas M. | Director of Business Intelligence, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

I've been blown away by the speed and helpfulness of Estuary's support.

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

There's a bit of a learning curve with the UI. I felt compelled to ask for help for simple things when initially getting set up.

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to get our biggest and most mission-critical dataset at a fraction of the cost of the tool I was using previously.

 ### 16. Great tool with excellent support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

I really like Estuary Flow. The tool works well and it is very fast. Setting up pipelines is simple and quick.
Their support is excellent. They always reply fast and are very helpful.
I also like that it can handle both real-time and batch data in one place, and it has many connectors ready to use.
Overall, Estuary Flow is reliable, easy to use, and supported by a great team. I strongly recommend it.

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

It takes some time to understand all the features at first.

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Replicating multiple databases into our DWH

 ### 17. Great product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akshat G. | CTO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

The Estuary is quite good. We transfer huge amounts of data from MongoDB to our warehouse and it's super smooth.
And yes, there were issues, but their support is equally good, and they solve everything quickly.
Very easy to integrate
We use it daily (in-fact it's always on)

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

Cost is slightly on a higher side.
So we have connected, MongoDB but we haven't connected Google Sheets, since for each connection they charge seperately.
So for Google Sheets, we use something else.

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting NoSQL data into SQL based warehouse

 ### 18. Ticks All Boxes - Great Ongoing Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ameer A. | Senior Data Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

The Pre-Sales Process:

The Estuary team was very responsive, offered great support when it came to explaining what the product is good for and cases where it is not yet capable of ticking some boxes. The honesty and straight-forward approach was much appreciated and unusual in the space. Everybody we interacted with was very hands-on and had deep technical knowledge so answers came quickly in short timeframes and deadline pressures, and in cases where use-cases were complex, we were offered solutions and workarounds tailored to our needs.

The POC Process

Getting access to, and implementing the tool was very easy and efficient. Most of the connectors we required were already available and we were given clear information about which ones were (importantly) on the roadmap with timelines, making it easy to build trust. There were really cool additional features we made use of, such as Terraform compatibility and a command line tool, so we could spin up pipelines repeatably and reliably with a little bit of initial research around these features.

The Sales Process

The Estuary product was far more affordable than other products when it came to our use-case of tall narrow tables with many rows, since they have a Data Ingress/Egress based billing. This worked far better for us than other tools which take a row-based approach to billing, despite our total table sizes being comparatively small. We felt they partnered well with us and helped us find ways for us to do things more efficiently and had our best interests at heart, and it made for a mutually beneficial business relationship.

The Tool Itself

Estuary Flow has been a reliable tool, a real data/technical person's tool. The basics are simple to set up, but it does not preclude the ability for you to customize pipelines. It is very extensible. The architecture is robust and scalable and we have used it reliably for about a year with very few issues.

The Support

This is a very important area and Estuary have delivered on this in a stellar way. On the few occasions that we have had minor issues - Support from the team was very responsive; offering updates, feedback, timelines and solutions in real-time and really giving us the kind of peace of mind we need, at almost all hours. In some cases, where it was sensed that there may be misunderstandings; , they were happy to dig in on our behalf to sort urgent matters out quickly, . They maintained a great level of friendly professionalism and there was never a sense of apathy towards our needs, which can be common with some other data pipeline tools out there (especially the really big ones with heavy support processes and protocols, sending screenshots back and forth)

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

There are almost no down-sides besides the fact that they are still building their number of connectors up to a number that rivals other data platforms (but cover most of the important connectors).

I would say that some of the terminology relating to pipeline components can be a bit confusing at first, but this is also because every data tool names things differently, so this is also more of an industry-wide issue as opposed to an Estuary-specific. Reading through the documentation a couple of time will generally orient you well.

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it for streaming replication of our transactional databases to our analytics warehouses. We also use the tool to ingest data from third-party tools and applications to get an integrated view of our data in our warehouse.

 ### 19. The best ETL solution for real-time data

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh H. | Product Marketing Data Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

It's so easy to set up connectors to any of my applications and databases and replicate that data in real-time. Not only that, but I only need one connector per source but can send that source to multiple destinations.

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

Sometimes the documentation can be a bit hard to follow for more complex connectors, but can typically figure it out within a few minutes.

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps replicate data in real-time without it being difficult to set up, manage the infrastructure, or cost similar to the likes of Fivetran

 ### 20. Great for Streaming Sources, but UI Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

For streaming/CDC sources, estuary is a no brainer. Very easy to implement and monitor usage. Costs are reasonable and predictable

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

The UI can be a little challenging sometimes, but they are quick to make changes based on feedback.

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Estuary makes it easy to quickly ingest data sources

 ### 21. Easy Setup and Excellent Support at a Great Price

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

Easy to setup. Pricing for starter not scary like Fivetran. Great support in slack.

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

- Hope their can be more connectors. Like databricks to postgres
- Backfill is a bit slow (take 3-4 days to backfill a 500GiB table)

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data replication from live database to analytic/data warehouse

 ### 22. Easy to use and great support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

It was super easy to set up a real-time streaming data pipeline using change data capture for my database that lives in a secured network. The Estuary team was super helpful when I reached out for some support. Since then, the data flow has been continuously running without any issues for months. The data arrives in the destination in real-time, with schema changes properly handled.

Setting up the connectors didn't take more than a few minutes and the many integrations made it super easy to connect all of our services.

Our whole team is onboarded and uses Estuary every time they need a new pipeline.

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

The UI is a little bit outdated at some points but this takes nothing away from the functionality.

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Estuary manages all our data flows from around 10 sources (databases, like Postgres and Oracle in addition to Salesforce, Hubspot, Mixpanel, ad Ad networks like Meta, Tiktok and Snapchat). Estuary connects these sources in real-time to our data warehouse via ETL where we can run historical analytics. We also integrate into Tinybird for real-time analytics without having to create new pipelines or duplicate the data.

 ### 23. Very smooth and intuitive

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris L. | Senior Solutions Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

I love the getting started experience, the UI is so intuitive and straight forward, we need more of that in the data engineering space! They also have a ton of CDC options which is in high demand and Estuary makes this super easy.

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

I wouldn't say "dislike", that's a little strong but the transformation experience is a little bit awkward from a context switching perspective. I'd also like to see the ability to deploy pipelines as self-hosted agents or even a BYOC deployment model.

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CDC to other streaming platforms like Redpanda and Mongo change streams.

 ### 24. The Perfect Tool for Rapidly Deploying Near-Real Time Analytics

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandre P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

Besides the UVP of the product itself (user-friendly UI/UX for data streaming), the Estuary team really sets itself apart from the competition in terms of the excellent level of support they've given us both over the course of our trial with them and the support they continue to give us going into the future with Estuary Flow an invaluable part of our data stack.

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

Our usage of instant data updates has resulted in some not-insignificant Snowflake virtual warehouse costs - and while we did come to expect this during our tria, we hope that the Snowflake materialization connector will receive some extra love in the future to help us wrangle these costs.

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Near-real time analytics has become an important selling point for our business and our clients are becoming increasingly data-driven - without Estuary Flow we could not have brought that feature to our clients as rapidly as we did.

 ### 25. Estuary Flow Visualization Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** akhila m. | Technical Support Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

Data integration that offers connectivity with various data sources and provides the best visualization tool for analytics purposes.

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

Technical support and complexity of the usage for non-users

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integrate with the pipeline to understand how data flows through the organization and analyze the data to make better decisions.

 ### 26. MongoDB to BigQuery

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh F. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

We needed an easy way to integrate Mongo to BigQuery. It took us a few days to implement. It ended up being almost 1/10th the cost of Fivetran, and we could get it to work quickly. We struggled getting Airbyte to work.

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

i have not found anything i dislike so far

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us stream data to BQ from mongo at very good price

 ### 27. Unparalleled Power and Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rijnhard H. | Head of Data, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

Estuary Flow is an incredibly powerful product, and the Estuary team bend over backwards in supporting their customers. As a company they are more of a partner then merely a service provider, which makes working with them exceptional.

As we are in the Telecommunciations space we handle a large amount of data, have very low latency requirements, require absolute integrity and reliability, and are cost sensitive. Estuary handles all of this, and some more with its flexible and powerful transformations.

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

Complex to create transformations, which comes hand in hand with the power, and is something actively being improved.

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Low latency, flexible, and reliable ETL.

 ### 28. Enhancing Business Insights: Empowering Data Loading of Google Firestore with Estuary Flow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Greg H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

One of the aspects I appreciate the most about Estuary Flow is its ability to seamlessly and efficiently replicate and load data from Google Firestore into our enterprise data warehouse. The tool simplifies the entire process, allowing us to consolidate and analyze our data without the complexities typically associated with data loading from Firestore. This streamlined approach has saved us valuable time and resources while providing reliable and accurate data for our business insights.

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

In my experience with Estuary Flow, while the majority of the user interface is intuitive and user-friendly, I did find that certain aspects required a learning curve initially. However, the Estuary team was incredibly supportive and responsive, assisting me in achieving the desired behavior we were aiming for. Their prompt assistance and guidance made the learning process smoother and more efficient.

Furthermore, I have noticed that Estuary Flow has made continuous improvements to the user experience (UX) over time. The product updates have introduced enhancements that have empowered us to become more self-serviced in managing the data replication and loading tasks. These improvements reflect the commitment of the Estuary team to listen to user feedback and evolve the software to better meet the needs of their customers.

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Estuary Flow solves the challenge of efficiently replicating and loading data from our Google Firestore database to our Snowflake data warehouse. This solution eliminates the complexity and manual effort involved in data replication by automating the process. It ensures that our data warehouse stays current with near real-time updates from Google Firestore. Estuary Flow improves data consistency and accuracy. With its reliable replication mechanisms and automated conflict resolution, we can trust that the data loaded into our data warehouse is synchronized accurately and without discrepancies. This data integrity enables us to make informed decisions about our customers based on reliable insights derived from our consolidated data.

 ### 29. An early stage company enjoying Estuary Flow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Morgan S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

We're a big fan of Estuary's real-time, no code model. It's magic that we're getting real time data without much effort and we don't have to spend time thinking about broken pipelines. We've also experienced fantastic support by Estuary, sometimes they go as far as to make a change for us if it's easier for them to do so.

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

We're not sold on the transformations being done in Estuary yet, choosing to stick with DBT for the time being there. They've just released SQL transformations though so this could change over time.

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Injesting data from sources we need it to, without having to run infrastructure ourselves and deal with that overhead. The real-time model has meant we don't have to configure timed collection of the data either.

 ### 30. Estuary Flow saves us time and money moving our data to multiple destinations!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

The time it saves our devs - they do not need to learn the ins and outs of multiple data destinations. Estuary Flow also provides fantastic support!

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

The UI has been difficult to use at times, but it is constantly improving, and the team has always helped us navigate it!

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need to get data from our internal data stores into tools for analysis. Estuary Flow makes that process simple!

 ### 31. Estuary has saved us a lot of time, effort and maintenance of otherwise time consuming ETL tech dept

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Estuary?**

Removes a lot of complexity and time writing code to get data from one platform to another

**What do you dislike about Estuary?**

Some of the actions in the UI could be more clear, but I am sure that is trivial and will be iterated upon.

**What problems is Estuary solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the nuances between different data storage mechanisms are abstracted away from the end user, this is the main benefit to using Flow, as your dev team does not need to spend precious cycles learning those nuances themselves
