Many times, one can fall victim to a phishing attack if not careful enough. With ESET protection, there are alerts that block these malicious sites, protecting the integrity of the device. **What do you dislike about ESET PROTECT?** About a week ago, I attended to an incident caused by the ESET restriction policy on one of the computers, which was blocking the ability to update a Windows application to run VDIs. That is, if a new version was installed, it would block it instead of allowing it. **What problems is ESET PROTECT solving and how is that benefiting you?** When working in a large and important company, every day one is exposed to cyber attacks either to steal information or to sabotage production. It is so light you wouldn't even think you have a security program running on your computer, ideal for both low end computers and high end ones. Even their basic protection which is NOD32 Antivirus has a built in HTTP scanner so if you ever click on a malicious link or download, it would block it before the connection even starts. Additionally, it has a 0 false positive rate in my experience, the last thing you want is to run a program and get a warning that it's not safe when it actually is. ESET has mastered this and have the lowest false positive rates amongst all other security solutions **What do you dislike about ESET PROTECT?** While the HTTP scanner is great for protecting your computer from online threats, some users don't want it. During the original integration running our on-premise eset server we ran into a few problems and the support team was able to help us and get us moving forward. We use ESET everyday whether it's through the email alerts, or checking the warnings on the dashboard. It was a relatively easy to learn how to navigate through the different dashboard and set policies. **What do you dislike about ESET PROTECT?** When doing the on-premise server spin up by yourself, it can be quite daunting at first. I've never had a virus it didn't catch and it's never caused issues with any of my servers. The one time I had to call support, my call was answered in two rings and my rep was connected with a developer 5 minutes into the call, with a workaround in less than 20 minutes. When you upgrade your MacOS to a new major version, if you have ESET installed, after reboot, network connectivity is totally dead. Data protection and IT infrastructure protection heavily depended on boosting security measures. Our security incidents have decreased thanks to mitigations for file less attacks and integrated malware. Our protection is way better now, thanks to the thing that sets ESET apart: their multilayered technology in endpoint, mobile and server protection. This is why our network is always sure since this platform manages security holes and their patches. The centralized management capability of the platform eases the demanding responsibilities of our staff; it lets us look at our network through a single interface. **What do you dislike about ESET PROTECT?** There is not much to complain about ESET PROTECT. This has been so important in a way since we haven't had the opportunity to connect to other technologies due to security vulnerabilities. Endpoints lurking with infections are quickly identified and quarantined so that we can fix them before they cause more harm. The threat detection capabilities of ESET PROTECT enables us to generate reports and further analyze security incidents and system health. **What do you dislike about ESET PROTECT?** I don't really dislike anything in particular about ESET PROTECT but one thing I would like to mention is that, it automatically updates every one hour which is great but it can cause major slowdowns on low end desktops.
