I love that ERPNext adapts to each unique business and organization's processes, allowing the ERP system to fit into the business rather than forcing the business to change. ERPNext's customization capabilities are fantastic, like when I customized code for a client in the business of selling GPS devices to automate their inventory based on device activation status. I also appreciate ERPNext's flexibility in integrations; it can connect with almost any other system if APIs are available, which is crucial for businesses with indispensable in-house tools. Additionally, I find the pricing model appealing; ERPNext only charges hosting fees based on storage required on the Frappe Cloud rather than the number of users, which was cost-effective for a client with over 500 employees. This can be a downside since businesses need some level of customization to use it effectively. Because of this, there's a heavy reliance on technical partners or coders, and if they aren't thoroughly vetted, they can be ineffective. Also, when there are heavy customizations, like 70% or more changes, upgrades or updates can cause these customizations to become unstable, disrupting business operations. Being a completely open source and cost-effective solution, ERPNext is a very well appreciated solution among the low-mid level businesses. The best things which I like about ERPNext are: - Seamless customization - User Friendly interface - No per user Licence cost - Easy to develop solutions for almost all Business problems. - Ease of integration with other third-party tools like WooCommerce for E-Commerce Management directly from ERPNext. For Example, I really used to dislike the data entry process in table of order, invoice or other such documents but with the recent v15 release that pain that been resolved. Now we can upload the line items from an excel file directly into the table without hectic navigation. Currently, there are no such features that I personally dislike about ERPNext. ERPNext has everything that a business needs, I like the Workflow Feature the most as you can get rid of papers and can manage the workflow easily within the ERPNext. The vendor support, most of the vendors has no or very basic knowledge of ERPNext, I had to struggle and guide them even understanding the basic business logic was a problem. ERPNext is said to be the most agile ERP on planet and I agree to it, I was able to delope this product to meet our exact business requirements. One thing that I like the most about this ERP is that it is open source, without paying huge money to commerce vendors for licensing, you can go for a license free features rich applicaiton.
