The information companies need to fight fraud and understand digital risk is scattered across the open web, breached databases, and the dark web. Encrata brings that data together, cleans it up, and makes it searchable and usable. You can verify identities, check for leaked credentials, investigate domains and IPs, or plug the same intelligence directly into your product through our APIs. At Cosmetic Effect, we use it to verify whether emails are valid, learn more about the people behind them, and flag potential data exposure. It’s straightforward to use with minimal setup, but the API is also available when we want to automate parts of the process. For us, the biggest upside is simply ending up with cleaner data and having several useful checks all in one place by simply uploading a big file. About pricing as well - tried other services, and Price to Quality ratio - Encrata has been way way convenient budget wise. Support - Their WhatsApp works US hours so when we had some initial questions regarding Credit costs - I noticed quite prompt response and it wasn't AI chat, there was some human chat assistant. **What do you dislike about Encrata?** I initially found the credit cost pretty complicated to understand, but after chatting with their support team, I found them friendly and willing to explain things like this in a simpler way. **What problems is Encrata solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before Encrata, we had to rely on several different tools to validate emails, figure out who was behind our customers' email/Phone numbers, and check for potential security risks. Encrata brings most of those tasks into one place. For Cosmetic Effect, that translates into cleaner customer data, fewer invalid email addresses, and less time spent manually cross-checking information across multiple services.
