There are two things that I couldn't live without now that I worked with Embeddable: freedom of component building and the robust data modeling infrastructure.

The component freedom is amazing, because if you have some support from a front end, or even is willing to do some coding yourself, you'd have an infinity of charts you can use to build your reports.

The data modeling infra is really well build on top of Cube.dev semantic data layer. It makes it easier to create models, declare dimensions and measures, join tables and even create pre-aggregations. Way easier then doing that on Power BI or other data viz tools.

If you are not a technical analyst, or don't feel comfortable writing SQL, embeddable might not be for you. Building reports on the canvas is as easy as any other Data Viz tool, but setting up data models, dimensions and measures can be a struggle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the simplicity and the straightforward use of creating dashboards and visuals. Making filters to spread across multiple dashboards is convenient, which I love. The way embeddable looks in our app is seamless and really looks like it belongs versus just something thrown in there like with an iframe.The releases have only gotten better with each update, and the people you work with are great. They are there for you if you need clarification or help. They also check in to make sure everything is going well, which is a great customer first approach. Our front end lead talked about how implementing embeddable in our app was easy and straightforward. He liked everything he saw from a use and security standpoint. As a developer you get full control over what you build and how you build it. This is very different from other embedded analytics tools which typically only give you a certain out-of-the-box experience. Embeddable only really shines when combined with an internal developer team. While Embeddable does provide components (visualisations and tables) out of the box, the real value of Embeddable comes from it being very developer friendly and fully customisable. Integrating Embeddable's technologies into our SaaS platform was the best decision we made in the past 2 years. Period.

It allows our engineers to simply focus on the features that we need to support, while our product managers can build all the custom made dashboards they want. This speeds up development greatly while retaining our own branding and the look and feel of our own platform. The tooling Embeddable provides is easy to learn, easy to learn and allows those product managers to implement entire production worthy dashboards within minutes. All without the need to write custom code for the dashboards. It's fantastic.

At the current time we have 2 engineers building components and adding features full time, as well as three product managers that are implementing curated insights dashboards that provide the essential business insights for around 2000 accountancy, architecture, software and consultancy agencies in and around the Netherlands with an overall ±30.000 end users, we could not have done this without Embeddable.

One minor issue that is inherent with Embeddable's position and scale at the current time, is that we often run into the problem of missing advanced features. Embeddable is a young company that simply hasn't gotten around to building those features yet. Embeddable makes it super easy to build and embed dashboards that look native to our app. I love that our dev team can set up the structure while non-technical teammates customize layouts with drag-and-drop. It saves us time, looks great, and performs flawlessly. Integration was seamless into our react app, and the support the embeddable folks provided is first class! We were early adopters, there is a balance between using their out of the box components and building your own from the ground up. This has improved with time as their out of the box components have gotten better, but our initial needs were beyond what they had at the time available as turn-key.
