We have used the website for a few years now and the ease of use for beginners is great. They have updated their user interface which is perfect if you are new to website design and implementation. **What do you dislike about Elexio Church Software?** There are times that you have to take a few too many steps to accomplish a simple task like adding photos. This can be cumbersome but the layout and the drill downs are simple to use. **Recommendations to others considering Elexio Church Software:** Make sure that you are ready to begin the implementation by having your plans and layout nailed down so you don’t have to stop and start. **What problems is Elexio Church Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** It has been great having a support team that is quick to help solve issues. They are available 24/7 when issues have arrived and it is resolved quickly. ### 2. Mass email communication is also easy. I was able to take our database from Elexio, through Excel, and input it into Mail Chimp easily for more visibly appealing communication. The calednar feature of Elexio is helpful. **What do you dislike about Elexio Church Software?** The ability to customize check-in and check-out labels is limited. For awhile Elexio did not work with Yahoo email users but I believe that has been resolved. The attendance tracking features are not great. The customer support takes awhile to get your issue resolved. At one point the error message we were getting was regarding 'connectivity' which made us think it was an internet issue when, eventually, customer support was able to tell us the wrong size labels were in the check-in printers. A better error message would have saved a lot of time an dfrustration. **Recommendations to others considering Elexio Church Software:** Make sure that the printers you get if using for check-in are what you want. We initially ordered the wrong printers and then ordered ones we thought had batteries, only to find out you have to buy the expensive batteries separately in order to go wireless completely. **What problems is Elexio Church Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** Elexio has worked well for our Sunday morning check-in. The check-in app gave us the ability to use ipads for check-in which are sleek looking, quick and effective. ### 3. It's clean, informative and accessible for our members. **What do you dislike about Elexio Church Software?** We store documents (like applications and background checks) in Elexio and sometimes it only allows documents of 2 pages or less to be uploaded. **Recommendations to others considering Elexio Church Software:** Utilize the "Groups" feature early-on - it helps organize members, volunteers, e-mail lists, etc. and helps admins keep track of data easily. **What problems is Elexio Church Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're connecting people in a greater and organization our many volunteer teams in the most efficient way we know how. We're able to e-mail everyone in our organized groups in an efficient manner because of Elexio's features. ### 4. This software almost requires a full-time user. **What problems is Elexio Church Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** Tracking people, classes. Online event signup. Online paying. The benefit is having one database as opposed to spreading out lists of people over different applications. ### 5. They have helpful videos but my church had programs sorting our small groups. **Recommendations to others considering Elexio Church Software:** My church will be changing to another software soon due to wanting to use something more modern and possibly easier to train people on. I agree that at first the program can be hard to learn but as long as you have good teachers and refer to the materials they have online anyone in a church could feel confident. **What problems is Elexio Church Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are solving some organization problems and now we are a lot more organised by keeping a database with Elexio. ### 6. Great software. Kids checkin is great. Can communicate with staff inside of system. Mass texting and emails are great. Creating events in calendar is great - can request certain departments to accommodate the event. The personal coaching is fantastic and I would recommend investing in it. Reporting is great and fairly easy; can save reports and fields just by saving as a bookmark. App is really good...can use it to check into services, kids classes and adult classes. Can also mark small group attendance. Online forms are fantastic..can link them to calendar events...automation in emails when people complete forms has been helpful. Each persons account has a great quick view. Very attractive look to site and app as well as the giving link. **What do you dislike about Elexio Church Software?** Can be difficult to learn since it is so complex. Have to use a separate site for reporting giving and payments. Can't upload graphics or make attractive emails. Everyone has to create an account to access last years giving statement. It is proprietary...expensive check in system for kids area. We do have to pay for texts with the web based update - we did not before. **Recommendations to others considering Elexio Church Software:** I would recommend it to other churches. I would also recommend investing in the coaching so you can fully utilize the system. **What problems is Elexio Church Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** Church/website/calendar, Event registration, growth tracking, mass communication/emails/texting. ### 7.
