**What do you like best about EditorNinja?**

Nobody on our team wants to edit. Everybody can kind of do it, but nobody was hired to do that. So projects that need peer review or  'a quick glance' get sidelined for days and then nobody is happy. Having a destination where we can send everything and trust that it's been thoroughly reviewed makes it so much easier to push content through a repeatable process.

Their team is constantly updating the product and dashboard experience and open to feedback on how we integrate it with the rest of our editorial pipeline.

**What do you dislike about EditorNinja?**

Like all productized services your team has to get used to submitting projects and then following up on them, but that would be true of any other editing process we introduced, too. 

It's also hard to distinguish sometimes what type of editing can and can't be outsourced. It's unreasonable for us to expect EditorNinja to fact check high expertise content, but, can be hard to teach each team member the difference between proofreading and structural edits and fact checking, etc.

**What problems is EditorNinja solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've used both freelance editors and proofreaders as well as assigned editing duties to multiple team members in-house. Both are challenging and we didn't have a need for a full-time editor. Editor Ninja fits perfectly in the middle and makes it easier to push our content projects through a pipeline.

**What do you like best about EditorNinja?**

EditorNinja is fast, effective, and affordable. It provides a quick (and seamless) assignment process, coupled with timely delivery. Its experienced editors can perform light editing to comprehensive, structural edits—offering personalized feedback balanced with a quick turnaround, which means EditorNinja is a great service if your workload is irregular or if you’re looking to scale your production.

**What do you dislike about EditorNinja?**

EditorNinja is a relatively new entry — and its model is quite unlike other services or marketplaces available. Compared with other  SaaS platforms, it’s not as extensible or deeply integrated — but that’s because the service is growing. The upside? The customer experience team is attentive and quick to respond. They also solicit feedback regularly, and integrate requests into their roadmap.

**Recommendations to others considering EditorNinja:**

From single document to all-you-can-eat, the pricing model makes it easy to try EditorNinja out as part of your workflow. Let it solve a few of your problems, and you'll see its value quickly.

EditorNinja has helped us to scale content production that’s proven to be irregular with a workload that’s highly variable. This allows us to adhere to tight timelines without the added expense of keeping editors on retainer.
