Earthlink WebMail was my first foray into the world of email. While everyone else heard the "You Got Mail" chime, I went for Earthlink. I haven't been disappointed. It seems our addresses, my wife and me, will always have an "@earthlink.net" suffix--she is reluctant to give it up, as am I. What is the "project" Earthlink has helped me with? Earthlink has been my mode of electronic mail and communication for over 25 years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about EarthLink?

Earthlink is a solid product that makes improvements without throwing the "baby out with the bathwater." I like that it has a persnickety and aggressive spam-blocker which hasn't failed me yet. It's been among the most accurate and consistently reliable protection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EarthLink?

As much as I have just praised the consistency of the interface, I think--as I age--I need a more spacious workplace. The webmail, of which I use the most, is pretty tight margined, and the lede-ing could have a wider girth. Then again, I am fully capable of adjusting the features, but maybe I'm just not seeing them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering EarthLink:

Don't worry that Earthlink is "old" or "outdated." Earthlink has been around for a long time. In technology, that is rare. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is EarthLink solving and how is that benefiting you?

The benefits, as I have mentioned, are that consistency and reliability are second to none. What more important can that be when communicating for any business? It may not be flashy. I used EarthLink twice in the past as my service provider. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about EarthLink?

The first time I used EarthLink it was based on a colleague's recommendation. I was experiencing service interruptions, and I was told that EarthLink suffered fewer interruptions than other providers. I can't say for sure if that was true, but switching to EarthLink solved my problems with frequent interruptions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EarthLink?

The last time I used EarthLink it suffered from slow periods like clockwork. Some days it would drag so much in the afternoons that I would put my work off until late night. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is EarthLink solving and how is that benefiting you?

This is a tough question to answer. I recently had cause to once again look into EarthLink service, and I now understand that the service is not uniform. In some areas it's fast and reliable (like the first time I used it), and I'm some areas the service is slower and not so reliable (like the second time). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about EarthLink?

What do you dislike about EarthLink?

Other than not working great in explorer. I haven't had a lot of issues with it. I like that it filters spam pretty well. I had a password issue years ago, and the team was really helpful in getting it resolved quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
