On a Premium subscription there is a wide variety of high quality voices and accents and useful tools to modify the voiceover: introduce pauses, speed up and slow down the delivery, use phonemic symbols to provide the pronunciation of words that are not recognised by the system (I have come across very few of these, in general the pronunciation of the typed text is spot on) and with some voices, the possibility of modulating the tone (neutral, friendly, sad, whisper, etc) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For our needs (dialogues and voiceovers for online Business English programs) there are really no negatives. There is an "Emphasis" option, presumably to stress a particular word in a sentence, which we would find useful, but does not seem to be available for the voices we are using, but other wise we are very pleased and, after a useful trial period, we took out a year's subscription.
