In Dropbox Paper almost everything else is that they are stuck into an old-school hierarchy for storing data. They are based on files and folders. Evernote is based on notes & notebooks. Dropbox faces is that it’s entering this space at a time when bazillions of people: a) are happily accustomed to using Google Docs, and b) have reached their limit of new apps and products that they’re interested in using for this type of use case. Dropbox Paper is a brilliant cross over between Medium and Google Docs. The same way Slack can be seen as cross over between IRC and Chat messengers. One font. No paragraph styles. No headers or footers. No section or multi-level paragraph numbers. No cross-references. no indexes or TOCs. No diagrams, just images. Want a border around your image? Forget it.
