## Draw.io Reviews
  ### 1. Draw.io

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gary F. | State Operations Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2019

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

Draw.io is a free online solution that fills a gap in the market when it comes to artistic software. He realizes that sometimes you will not need a wide range of functions: you will only need to sketch the diagram as quickly as possible. You can do it with this tool! The interface of Draw.io will be immediately known and available to anyone who is familiar with graphic or presentation software but is designed specifically to create schematics. Whether you need a block diagram or something more visual, Draw. io has everything you need. In addition, the tool offers many destinations for the finished diagram, including hard drive, GitHub, DropBox, and others.

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

More advanced options can be difficult to capture.

**Recommendations to others considering Draw.io:**

Draw.io is designed simply to make life easier for anyone who wants to make a diagram on the spot. It comes with a range of tools that allow you to quickly insert shapes into your diagram; from basic shapes like ovals and rectangles to more detailed designs like figures and arrows, to advanced items like customizable flowcharts

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Draw.io Allows me to create schematics that I can use in presentations.

  ### 2. Draw.io , my opinion

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Antonio L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

Draw.io isn't the best flowchart or diagramming app, but it is the best one that offers a totally free level of service. Draw.io has a paid version for Confluence Server, which is how the app is profitable, but all its other versions, including the online Web-based one reviewed below, are free. This tool helps you create diagrams and other visuals with a lot more ease than if you were using vector software. When used with Google Drive, Draw.io has good support for real-time collaboration so that more than one person can work on a diagram simultaneously. Because many diagramming apps, such as Microsoft Visio, can be expensive, the free Draw.io is a fine option if you only need this kind of software every so often.

It’s a free online diagramming tool.
draw.io is intuitive, user-friendly, and easy to use.
There is a large collection of shapes for a variety of purposes built in.
You can work with a number of integrated cloud storage services like Dropbox, GitHub,Google Drive, OneDrive, etc.
Multiple import and export formats are supported.

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

The one thing I dislike, I'd say even HATE about draw.io are the arrows. Simple use case: You want to connect two boxes with an arrow. That's simple - except later you notice you don't like the position of the boxes and move them. Now your arrows will most likely try to bend in ways to keep the connection but by doing so they will get horribly bent and look atrocious. This is especially bad if you move multiple boxres.

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Once for a project we had to create an UML sequence diagram. We used draw.io for this . It worked great, it looked fantastic. Until we noticed that we forgot some calls so we had to add more boxes and more arrows. We thought that surely we could just drag what we have around a bit without breaking everything but no. Luckily it wasn't very big yet so we started from scratch and did not connect the arrows to the boxes until we were sure everything was stable. There might be a way to stop the arrows from freaking out but we could not find it.

  ### 3. Free online, user friendly Digraming tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ayush J. | HR Manager, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2019

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

It's a free tool which don't need any kind of login/signup so you can always remain assure about privacy of content. They have variety of shapes for different purpose like Activity diagrams, Flow charts, Architecture diagrams, User Flow charts. This is one stop solution for all your needs.

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

I never faced any problem while using this tool. Kudos to team for developing and presenting such a nice to tool which can be use by anyone across organization. You may like Visio but again this is free tool.
Unfortunately, No app is available for mobile (Android, iOS) but it's rarest instance that you have to open the diagrammatic tool on phone.

**Recommendations to others considering Draw.io:**

Go for it and it will satisfy your almost all diagrammatic needs.

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creation of diagram needs multiple edits and changes but with Draw.io you can simply download xml file, which you can directly upload like any microsoft tool and edit. and re-save it.
It also provide multiple option to import (download)/ export like jpeg, xml, png.
Offline mode is also available which allows you to save your work on browser or device but not drive but that's very genuine thing.
You can also define the printing option like portrait or landscap so that it would not cause chaos while printing the document.
Using the tool is so easy that any one from your organization like HR, Developer, Management, operations can easily use it if they have basic knowledge of Using the softwarelike MS office.
Easy integration/Pre-built integration jira/Aha gives a lot of ease to use this tool.

  ### 4. Your best option when it comes to free drawing software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sushant K. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

Drawing software has always intrigued me, it has been an obsession since childhood when I dealt with MS paint and then it graduated to more complex tools like Photoshop. However Draw io is my most favorite open source diagramming / prototyping software, these are my most favorite features when it comes to Draw io:

Easy self hosting: Since draw io is open source software, I can deploy it on premise in a matter of seconds, the handy docker container is a breeze to deploy.

Easy on boarding : If anyone has every used MS paint, using Draw.io is very easy, It is click click and drag and drop. the barrier to entry is very low and I love this fact.

Multiple saving options: users can choose to save their work in Google drive, Microsoft one drive or their own machine. I always choose to save my work on my own machine.

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

It is an amazing software, but it is not stateful, ie) it does not have a server to save or sync the work that is done. This is both a pro and a con

**Recommendations to others considering Draw.io:**

Draw.io is an amazing software tool / web app, so go for it without thinking twice

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me create flowcharts, UML diagrams and userflow diagrams

  ### 5. If you're on a tight budget, Draw.io is here to rescue you

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ramesh P. | Fullstack Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

Wire framing tools are my area of interest. I am sort of a user experience ( UX ) / user interface prototyping ( UI ) nerd. Since these tools brag about enabling others to create great software interface designs, these tools themselves are brilliantly designed and are an inspiration on how software interfaces need to be designed, Draw.io is one such tool too, but unlike the other tools, draw.io does not cost an arm and a leg to purchase and for this one reason I absolutely love Draw.io. Draw.io is able to active this because it integrates with Google drive, Dropbox or your browser, so not much server costs are involved. The software is open source , therefore, draw.io can be hosted behind a firewall or hosted in your own server. This opensource nature of draw.io enables us to build custom features on top of draw.io easily. Draw io not only works on desktops and laptops but also on tablets gracefully.

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

It is a very solid and reliable piece of software but if I must complain about draw io, it would be the lack of simultaneous collaboration features. Draw io is a server-less software, so it would be hard to achieve this, I hope the developers of draw.io implement real time mock up collaboration like they do in Google docs.

**Recommendations to others considering Draw.io:**

If you're looking for a more feature rich value for money alternative try Moqups, it is also beautiful

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Draw io helps me create user interface mock ups, UML diagrams, class diagrams, mind maps, flow charts activity diagrams etcetera. It also lets me save these to my computer, Google drive or Microsoft One drive

  ### 6. Free and open Source tool to cater end to end diagramming needs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arush A. | Product Owner, Internet, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

-> Its free no charges to use it for unlimited times.
-> Allows you to save your work directly on Device, Google Drive or One drive.
-> You can edit and open your already existing diagrams from Github, Trello, Gitlabs.
-> You can integrate this tool with Jira and Confluence by paying some basic charges.
-> Drag and drop functionality along with good volume on shape library and template library.
-> Provide the access without any watermarking which is some thing can be used on business lines.

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

There is not much to say as this is free and open source tool. This is going in good direction.
Although I feel, look and feel specially from UI prospective can be improved.

**Recommendations to others considering Draw.io:**

Must have tools if you are into diagramming and process creation jobs. This makes you work easy quick and handy. You can create, edit as many as time as it's completely free and open source.

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

-> Scratch pad is good feature which allows you to add image which you use while diagramming.
-> One of the nicest tool of UML practice, Flowcharts, Entity relation diagrams.
-> One of the Good tool for the business Analysts professionals
-> Hassle free tool to work without login.

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

Sometimes it gets hanged due to that I lost the charts

**Recommendations to others considering Draw.io:**

It is the best tool easy and fast drawing

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Few of my project designing work I done very well with draw.io

  ### 8. Very Helpful Product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

This product is very much helpful in making flow diagrams, use cases, wire frames, etc.
Most of the shapes are already defined.

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

Still there are few shapes to be used.
Once the diagram got finished, there is no option to edit from the downloaded file. It makes difficult when i want to modify the process flow.

**Recommendations to others considering Draw.io:**

yes, good product

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flow diagrams,
Use cases,
Wire-frames,
Screen Mockups

  ### 9. Useful for quick, free prototyping with your development team

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angelo C. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

First, it is free, and is well-integrated with Google Drive, which makes simple to share your documents with others. Furthermore, it has a complete set of functions for the most common diagrams (such as E/R diagrams, flow charts and UML diagrams).

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

Its user interface: while it is adequately 'clean', it does not offer, in my opinion, a satisfying user experience. Furthermore, resulting diagrams do not have the possibility to make them more appealing. This can be a problem if you have to present the diagram to non-technical users (such as your manager).

**Recommendations to others considering Draw.io:**

Use Draw.io mainly when sharing work with your technical team. For 'impact' presentation, maybe you should switch to other softwares, or consider using prototyping/mockup software such as Adobe XD or Balsamiq Mockups.

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has been used in the design phase to share various types of diagrams in documentation (e.g. requirements specifications, or use cases description). Since it is free, it can be used as an alternative to more expensive softwares (such as Visio).

  ### 10. Free tool for Professional drawings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Priya S. | Analyst Programmer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

The interface is easy to use and simple to find what I am looking for. The diagrams are easy to create and provide a Visio-like finish. Almost all items available in Visio are present here. Even Visio templates can be opened and edited here. The connectors between diagrams are easy to join and also it enables to type in on clicking. The shapes can be edited in terms of size and color. Its easy to export the diagram to a format of our choice, to easily embed into documents, presentations etc.

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

Some of the items are not readily available and have to be added using library. This has to be browsed to a web location. It took me some time to figure this out. But it was a smooth sailing after that.

**Recommendations to others considering Draw.io:**

Easy to download and install, easy to use, no issues faced so far hence not have had to contact support anytime.
Can import Visio diagrams and open using Draw.io. Can export diagrams in various formats for ease of use and sharing.

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its a free tool and easy for users to build diagrams. The diagrams can be easily exported and embedded in various documents, presentations etc.
The main benefit was that, as Visio license was limited in the organization, Draw.io gave the opportunity for rest of the staff to also build their own drawings, without having a dependency on someone with Visio license to create the drawing for them.

  ### 11. A free and versatile web app to design flowcharts and diagrams on the go

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Filippo G. | Senior User Experience Designer, Design, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

I like draw.io because it's really intuitive and basic. And ready to use. You can choose to make a really quick draft of your flow or chart, using basic tools such as squares, text, and arrows. I like the possibility to search icons, symbols, and different visuals to make your diagrams clearer. You can ave your work on Google Drive and find it in your personal Google account. So your diagrams are always saved and sound.

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

Unfortunately, draw.io is very poor on styling. Other tools permit to create beautiful diagram to show off to the client. Draw.io doesn't. If you are looking for a quick draft to set down your thought and flows, it's good. But if you are looking for pixel-perfect diagrams, it doesn't help at all.

**Recommendations to others considering Draw.io:**

If you are looking for a really intuitive and basic diagram and flowchart creator, draw.io it's your solution.

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

First: It's free. Second: you don't need to download, set up or purchase any app or software. You can just enter and start to design. So it's really time-saving for raw material on diagrams.

  ### 12. draw.io, simply drawing

  ### 13. Useful Tool for Layouts and Diagrams

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff S. W. | Documentation Specialist (Contract), Executive Office, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

Draw.io is easily learned and offers a sufficiently robust toolset to allow for the creation of nearly any kind of diagram. For a non-artist, the shapes and other items offered are plentiful. You are also able to easily import other shapes for custom icons/diagram elements, etc. Layering allows for the development of quite complex diagrams and graphics. The ability to fine-tune stylistic elements enables the creation of a great variety of appearances from quite similar actions-- helpful to the non-expert user, who wants to get good results without having to dive too deeply into learning the tool. That said, the more I've learned about the tool the more I appreciate it.

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

I have found little to dislike about Draw.io. Much of what I've felt it was lacking turned out to be available, I just didn't realize it. It won't replace high-end tools, but in truth, I am not currently skilled enough to make use of such tools, anyway.

**Recommendations to others considering Draw.io:**

Try it! Draw.io is simple to learn and easy to use, yet powerful enough to be useful right away. There's no downside.

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have created numerous floor plan layouts with Draw.io. The use of Layers allows you to overlay different elements, such as furniture or machinery. Planning a shop layout, for example, is straightforward and fun. I've found the workflow of Exporting jpg or pdf format images to be very smooth and to allow for printing and sharing without difficulty.

  ### 14. Flowcharts of high value

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2019

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

It's great to have default templates to make excellent diagrams with this application, I like using the integrated tools such as aligning, resizing, and distributing elements within the diagram. There are many elements I can choose from and they are well categorized within the application. I really enjoy adapting the template I need in each case, I like connecting the pieces with the grid so it can be easily duplicated and also inserting text into the diagram. Draw is available both in a web version and a downloadable version which makes access easy for any user, and it works very well in either option. I like the sketch view for large diagrams, I love having all these formats available: PNG, JPG, PDF, HTML to export the diagrams. This application is the queen of intuition that helps users like me who are not familiar with this type of application.

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

The default dark view themes of the application do not create enough contrast for use, and this impaired my vision for a few moments. Then I had to switch to a light theme to solve the problem, but I regret it because I am an avid user of dark themes. I also don't like that it's not easy to find where the application saves the diagrams; this aspect of navigation could be improved.

**Recommendations to others considering Draw.io:**

If you need to create diagrams of different styles and unique appearance, definitely rely on Draw.io and its creative capabilities.

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enjoy the benefits of powerful and collaborative diagrams is the greatest advantage that Draw.io offers us. We truly appreciate this because several people can participate in the same design, thus carrying out larger projects where many can join without any problem. Draw.io guarantees us a professional and very careful look that allows us to offer a remarkable appearance to our company.

  ### 15. Images for a presentation? Not a problem anymore

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martina F. | Project Owner, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

I've founded draw.io while I was looking into plugins to use with Jira to integrate graphics and dyagrams with it. And since then I've never stopped using it everytime I need to explain visually a concept or a workflow, since it's integrated with all the software that I use it's the perfect software for me

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

The only thing I don't like is I've always to.choose the folder to save my works, both on gdrive and locally couse it don't memories it even I'm logged in with the same account

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It make a lot easier prepare files for presentation and it's also integrated with most software that I use so I've only to link them without save files, change format ecc

  ### 16. Great Little Tool for Flow Charts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miles M. | Sales Operations Analyst & CRM Administrator, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2019

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

Draw.io really helps me to organize my thoughts and create flowcharts for training videos, slideshows, and for writing down my own decision-making processes to communicate to other teams that have to replicate or review what I have worked on and why. I can see many broad applications of this software as it relates to development and otherwise (although I just use them for my CRM admin and business analyst roles).

I love it for making powerpoint flow-chart graphics and decision making trees, I may be repeating myself but I just want to emphasize how useful this tool is for those purposes.

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

No real complaints about this software at all. It's easy to use, cheap or free, and has a lot of versatility. One time I couldn't get a line to connect to a node to connect two bubbles... in other words no really big bugs.

**Recommendations to others considering Draw.io:**

If you want an inexpensive introductory software for mind-mapping or flow chart modeling look no further. I'm sure there are softwares with more depth or breadth, but this one does everything I need it to do and more.

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I downloaded Draw.io on a whim just to make a quick flow-chart diagram for a PowerPoint, but now I use it for all sorts of flow chart planning and sometimes just to map out my own knowledge of a particular subject so I can figure out what I need to know to get to the solution that I want. Sort of like a mind-map.

  ### 17. my experience with draw.io

  ### 19. Draw.io, A full tool for diagraming

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zait A. | Ingeniero de desarrollo de software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2019

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

In my very particular view DRAW.IO is an excellent tool to create diagrams of any kind, with the ease of accessing from the cloud or installing the client for PC and synchronize the work of the cloud with the files made on the PC.
You can also import image libraries for better detail in the diagrams.
It is possible to change the language of the main interface of the tool.

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

The drawback (so to speak), is the interface of the tool, compared to other software to make diagrams, DRAW.IO still has an interface somewhat ugly and a little complicated to use, but it's all a matter of getting used.

**Recommendations to others considering Draw.io:**

DRAW.IO is a tool with a lot of potential, despite being a little difficult to handle at first, once it is identified, how to handle the tool, the work done is of great quality and with the possibility of importing to various formats the resulting files, for example, images in jpg format, png, svg, pdf files and even in xml format. Another excellent feature is being able to work collaboratively with other members of the team.

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

The interface shows everything you want. You don't need to find things among menus to start to work, so it's very easy to create diagrams or compose and visualize ideas or explanations. The option to select the paper size is also a very good feature. I often use A4 size but the A3 option is quite useful when you have many things to show and need more space for that purpose. I didn't use them but the templates are also a very good if don't have too much time to build your charts. Love the scratchpad feature. You can create a library of your most used images and reuse them as you need. You can add images directly from your computer or drag them directly from an URL. Awesome! Something that i like very much was the wide range of formats to export your work. Thankfully the .png and .pdf are available. Depending on your needs, there are a lot of shapes to choose. Even floorplans and cabinets! That was unexpected!

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2019

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

It is great to have the default templates to make great diagrams with this application, I like to use the integrated tools such as aligning, resizing and distributing elements within the diagram. There are really many elements that I can choose from and they are well categorized within the application. I really enjoy adapting the template that I require in each case, I like to connect the pieces with the grid so that it can be easily duplicated and also insert text into the diagram. Draw is available in both a web version and a downloadable version which facilitates access to any user, in either option it works very well. I like the view of esque for large diagrams, I love having all these formats available: PNG, JPG, PDF, HTML to export the diagrams. This application is the queen of intuition which helps users like me who are not familiar with this type of applications.

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

The default themes of dark view of the application do not create enough contrasts for its use and this made my vision difficult for a few moments. Then I had to switch to a clear topic to solve the problem, but I regret this because I am an inveterate user of dark topics. I also dislike that it is not easy to find where the application save the diagrams, this aspect of navigation could be improved.

**Recommendations to others considering Draw.io:**

If you need to create diagrams of different indole and unique appearance, definitely trust Draw.io and its creative capabilities.

Another drawback is that you cannot edit in Draw.io without an internet connection, as it is a web-based application. But aside from that, Draw.io is a super handy tool.

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Draw.io to create user flow diagrams to show the navigation within an application I am designing. **Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hubert B. | Data Scientist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2019

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

Online interface with Google Drive integration;
Decent number of templates providing variety of graph styles suitable for technical documentation or visuals;
Flexible and powerful system of anchors which makes it easy to move around elements of the graph without breaking its structure;
A variety of formatting and align options to keep your diagram as symmetric and good-looking as possible with just a few clicks.
Rich keyboard shortcuts allowing to get common tasks done really fast;
Copy/paste of styles and ability to store elements in a favorites drawer, even between projects;
Tabs and layers - control even complicated, multi-stage diagrams

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

When using layers, cross-layer edges lose their anchors a bit too easily;
The default XML format is quite hard to comprehend from outside and modify outside of the program;
There could be more attractive color schemes.

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My company uses draw.io to quickly design diagrams for our presentation decks. The tool is intuitive enough to use for Data Scientists without previous training, yet powerful enough to allow our designer to make them look nice afterward. We mostly create flowcharts illustrating stages of the project or some internal structure of the software we develop.
It also worked out great for an exercise on mapping the client's business process. At some point, we were editing the graph live as they were commenting on it! That was possible with great edit interface and keyboard shortcuts.

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

It is completely free to use, no premium functionalities and no other annoying things!
I was at school the first time I used this fantastic online tool. It was very easy to use.
I can easily develop diagrams in a very short time, saving a lot of time and helping me doing other things. My experience with this software has been quite good, as I said, I first used it when I was at school. Now the platform has evolved a lot, it has been integrated with other technologies such as Google Drive. I have to say that it is excellent for collaborative projects, it has very very great performance. Thanks to draw.io creators, it is possibile to do a lot of things, easily and everywhere. Tried also on smartphone, laptop, desktop and tablet devices.

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

1)Appointing that it is a very useful tool, it is for a basic or intermediate use. When you need to elaborate more diffucult/complex diagrams, it is a bit short in the amount of tools and customization, however it is still a great tool, remember thats it is free and open source!
2) Sometimes i feels that UI is not the best.
3) There's also an offline version, but I don't recommend it, cause it unfortunately relies to internet connection

**Recommendations to others considering Draw.io:**

Should I tell something other? I think no. cause Draw.io would be the best choice if you want to get a free web-software for developing algorythmes and diagrams. Would I recommend it? Absolutely yes!

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Drawing algorythmes and diagrams for everything in the industry

  ### 44. Drawing tool for elegant flow charts

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

I have used this tool online several times to create UML diagrams and some other flowcharts. From the beginning it is very easy for anyone to use it. You can save your chart or diagram in the Google unit, onedrive or even on your local hard drive. there is no login, you just have to go there and start drawing. Simpler than the simple user interfaces that I have seen. In addition, it is free to use. And this tool offers a wide variety of tables and diagrams that are classified according to the type of work, such as engineering, related maps, etc. And you can save the graphic in different formats, such as PDF, JPG, etc.

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

Positioning a shape or a group of shapes can be a bit painful. When I want two rectangles of different sizes to be centered in the position (which means that the centers of the rectangle are aligned vertically), I have to make some small calculations before I can enter the coordinates because the coordinates are always the top left point. That is an inconvenience. Draw.io must have nine reference points for each shape (or group of shapes) and set the coordinates for any of these points will move the form accordingly. It should be like in Adobe Illustrator. If completed, this software will be at another level of perfection.

**Recommendations to others considering Draw.io:**

draw.io is simply the best for what I use it: create beautiful flowcharts and end-user diagrams in just a few minutes without the need for expensive Adobe software or others. Recommended.

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I recently decided that it was time to replace our old network diagrams for a disaster recovery scenario and I was also in charge of creating a flow chart that was sufficient as a partial software roadmap. My first inclination was to go with Visio, but then I remembered draw.io from a hobby project. Remember me again the name of that other open source and open source graphics / graphics application? keep thinking? that's fine, you do not have to do it was draw.io.

  ### 45. Excellent for creating good technical diagrams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

It is very interesting since it has a great variety of shapes and predetermined designs that we can then mold to our liking. It also allows you to quickly add external images using the Google search engine and has multiple formatted text options that we can configure as we see fit. It also allows you to export our designs to Microsoft Visio format if necessary. The work done can be saved in .XML format for later modification with the tool, we can print them or it can also export the diagrams to .PNG, .GIF, .JPG, .PDF and .SVG formats, or if we prefer we can insert the diagram made on any website using a code generated by the application.
Its interface is quite simple and easy to use, it is also so complete that nothing has to envy any software

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

For now I can't find something I dislike about this program

**Recommendations to others considering Draw.io:**

Definitely Draw.io is a very interesting, complete and useful tool for any company.

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The diagrams are a very important tools to show or explain some topic in a simple and easy to understand way, without a doubt they are a great support to make presentations in class or in any work meeting, so this program has facilitated this task.

  ### 46. An easy to use software to draw diagrams

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

I like a lot draw.io beacuse of these:
1) a lot of different kind of diagrams supported
2) very simple to be used
3) for the possibility to save locally my diagrams

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

I dislike these facts:
1) you can't allow othe ones to collaborate in drawing diagrams
2) you can't import a personalized pallet, using then the tools offered by the environment

**Recommendations to others considering Draw.io:**

Take in consideration these 2 facts:
1) you can't allow othe ones to collaborate in drawing diagrams
2) you can't import a personalized pallet, using then the tools offered by the environment

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it mainly to create UML, Use case and ER diagrams in my daily work. It's a very easy to use tool and it's free.

  ### 47. Pretty easy to use even though the user interface needs to be upgraded

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2019

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

I mostly like the fact that there are some set templates for different purposes which makes the process of actually drawing a diagram easier and faster. There has not been a single time where I have not found a template for the diagram that does not fit the purpose, which makes drawio very convenient.

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

the user interface is not that great. Pretty dull and seems outdated. It really just looks like a copy version of 2008 Microsoft word. An update of this would provide the user a better experience. Also, the drag and drop of specific symbols is sometimes inadequate or not working properly.

**Recommendations to others considering Draw.io:**

It is a good choice however I feel that it is mostly best for computer-based program design. I do not think that it is the best option for other diagrams like economics or business or anything else. At least I feel that there are other programs which are better for this purposes. However, if you are considering a software for data flow charts or flowcharts or whatever, draw io is for you

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I mostly use drawio for computer science programming design. In the design process I need loads of diagrams and draw io is probably the most convenient option. I have tried to also use it for other purposes like business strategy (through flowcharts) however there are other programs better for these purposes. So I stick to drawio for computer program design

Users are provided with a large repository of icons, diagrams and charts, so there's no need to import private ones. Exporting created graphics in the specified format is quick in dint of integration with GoogleDrive and OneDrive, where you could store your files.
