"Not the cheapest, worth it anyway, two quarters in"

What do you like best about DoControl?

Visibility, finally. We ran the free risk assessment, and it came back showing 7,530 public and external assets. I went quiet for a minute, then started clicking through the results. Honestly, the free assessment alone justified the meeting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DoControl?

Nothing serious. Honestly, the price, maybe, but we renewed without a fight. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about DoControl?

Within one morning of hooking up Microsoft 365, Salesforce and Teams, DoControl showed us exposure we had been guessing at for years. Guessing is over. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DoControl?

One busy quarter, low-priority tickets slowed down. It has recovered since. Mentioning for completeness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"What our CASB could never tell us, one year in"

What do you like best about DoControl?

The first scan was the moment. a week after connecting Google Workspace we were staring at roughly 9,440 externally shared files nobody knew about. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DoControl?

For us, it will not manage SaaS licenses or do IT lifecycle work. For us, that is a different tool category, but people keep asking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Not the cheapest, worth it anyway"
4.5/5
What do you like best about DoControl?

We thought our sharing hygiene was decent. DoControl’s initial scan said otherwise: roughly 46,000 files shared outside the company, some untouched since 2019. No agents, no proxies, no network taps. API connections and done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DoControl?

The simulation before enabling a workflow is good, not great. I want per-file certainty on big actions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Worth it for the Slack bot alone"
4.5/5
What do you like best about DoControl?

The asset inventory. Users, files, external collaborators, OAuth apps, all of it collected in a week without a single agent installed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DoControl?

Honestly, the OAuth risk scoring is a black box at times. Honestly, I see the inputs, not always the reasoning between two similar apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"69% exposure reduction in a weekend"
4.5/5
What do you like best about DoControl?

I filtered for every file that had been shared with personal Gmail accounts, selected them all, and revoked access. Just like that, about 5,040 exposures were gone before lunch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DoControl?

For us, the custom keyword lists and regex management could really use a more user-friendly interface. As it stands, it feels like the experience is built primarily for engineers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"From 80,500 exposed files to a number I can say out loud"
5/5
What do you like best about DoControl?

The one-click cleanup at scale. In our first month, we remediated close to 80,500 assets. Honestly, with our previous tool, it was a ticket-per-file operation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DoControl?

Twice, an update reset my saved filters. It’s annoying, though not a dealbreaker. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ensuring availability of SaaS application data"
4/5
What do you like best about DoControl?

DoControl is a powerful system for monitoring all the cloud application users, their collaborators as well as activities among them. This has enabled us to come up with a view that might actually help us discover security flaws that we had not noticed earlier. The policy management interface may be problematic for understanding, especially where there are interconnections involved. Subdividing strict user access to various groups and applications entails steep learning serrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
