Since it's connected directly to Salesforce, we don't have any integration issues and it was easy to implement. **What do you dislike about Docomotion?** It should have a way to use Google Docs and not only Word in the configuration and generation. On top of that you get multiple output channels - PDF, word, email body, HTML, interactive HTML form. Top notch integration with Salesforce auomtations, apex triggers and flows (you can run generation in background from a flow screen or after field changes. Last but not least the tool is constantly updated with new useful features e.g. recently they've added a PDF layer import which makes the updates of any supporting documents like T&Cs or technical documentation lightning fast. We use it every day for quote generation and for sending any official communication to the customers. As for customer support, they are super resopnsive and treat any issues you might have really seriously. **What do you dislike about Docomotion?** if I had to point out something, I'd say that sometimes they introduce new features that are not fully tested so you can get some errors when using them. **What problems is Docomotion solving and how is that benefiting you?** Docomotion mainly solves the issues with the limited functionality of Salesforce standard PDF quotes. It is far more flexible in terms of fields you can use and output generated. Using a Microsoft Word environment to configure the templates makes it very easy for users to manage templates. It is a WYSIWYG editor that uses 'drag and drop' to add new fields or components. Fields can easily be tweaked, and it is nice to have the ability to add some custom code for each component. Furthermore, they have support for the online signing of documents. The signed document can be saved directly in Salesforce. Another helpful feature is the ability to capture feedback from our customers. By embedding editable fields in the template, the customer can adapt/fill out those and send them back to our Salesforce environment. **What do you dislike about Docomotion?** Although it uses a WYSIWYG, it sometimes does not represent the final layout (especially when using the template for emails). The editor and the visual representation of the fields/components make it look like an ancient tool. It would be better to allow direct HTML editing. The editor takes a lot of time to load, which makes managing multiple templates very time-consuming. **What problems is Docomotion solving and how is that benefiting you?** Docomotion allows to create dynamic forms (such as language dependent). Based on field values, you can quickly build if-else statements to embed all information for multiple entities into one template. The email and generated document are automatically logged and visible within Salesforce against the relevant object. It's quick, easy and works every time! The outputted documents can be incredibly complex, using logic to create the content based upon any set criteria. **What do you dislike about Docomotion?** It's hard to be critical of the system overall. Having used Docomotion for several years, there is yet to be a challenge it has not been capable of addressing. Initially, I found the Data Models complicated to use, but the online help and tireless support from the Docomotion team soon helped me develop my knowledge. **What problems is Docomotion solving and how is that benefiting you?** One of the primary uses of Docomotion is generating compliance certificates, many of which can be time critical. We have successfully issued thousands of certificates and can even offer "same-day" certification to our customers. Before the use of Docomotion, none of this would have been possible. You can build data models without any special training and the only thing you need to create a template is a basic MS word expertise - you edit documents templates directly in Docomotion designer which is connected to MS word. They also have a great option to mass generate documents from list views and reports - we use it a lot to send mass communication to our customers e.g. changes in terms and conditions, energy surcharges etc. **What do you dislike about Docomotion?** Some new features come to the final releases before they are properly tested. The document can be as complex or simple as desired. The ability to have complex show / hide logic allows for documents to be built with business context information, although care should be taken as the more complex the docuement is the harder it will be to maintain. **What do you dislike about Docomotion?** Docomotion is only able to generate one document at a time. An improvement would be the ability to create a 'suit' of documents. Also, it is only possible to filter what documents the user can generate by one field / metric i.e. 'Legal entity'.
