What do you like best about Docker Engine on Windows?

In last organization we were using linux environment every where so there was no such pain i encounter , but when i shifted to the new company here alll where using windows and even i was forced to use windows because of some confidentiality and clients requirement we dont ahve any personal private cloud or any such environment where i can do my gig, we were solely dependent upon the cloud vendors. then i got to know about docker desktop for windows it was suprising and very helpful as it fulfill all my testing and developement requirement as i wanted . the only requirement is that it need virtualization enabled in your laptop so if docker desktop is not working we need to check for virtualization from boot level apart from this i coulnt find any other issue Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Docker Engine on Windows solving and how is that benefiting you?

when working for geo buffer, i encountered some problems and the solution for it was there in some goees package which was only available as a build or as a image, the build we couldnt able to used it as it already have some open issue so we tried we different approach of using the image and it worked for in window we dont need to go anywhere else for the solution.

Getting a container working is fast and easy if you know what you are doing, plus the documentation is vast and helpful. Container Management tools are also plenty and easily with Docker Desktop Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Docker Engine on Windows?

Docker doesn't have native Windows support and, as such, relies on Windows Subsystem for Linux to run. Native Windows integration would improve performance with File Systems and Volumes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Docker engine is so easy to install in the window and mac it takes only a fews minutes to install in your system ( depend on your system processer ).
