Love how I can keep working with my students while I need to work on the board. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I hate that it was discontinued. I have used it for the past fifteen years and no longer have access to it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The difference maker for me is an option that Doceri offers: you can change how quickly the drawing strokes appear to the viewer ... the drawing that you took your time with to look professional and accurate - those drawing strokes can appear in warp speed on a playback recording in order to make your recording time efficient. With the version with which I worked, you only had one chance to record your voice... make an error and you need to start from the beginning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

No downsides. I have used this extensively and haven't found any negatives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Doceri has completely changed how I teach. I can advance slides, circle, highlight, draw, and interact with the content I am displaying on the board via my iPad. During class discussions, I can add student ideas to the board without being tied to the front of the class. It allows me to monitor students and ensure students are working! I also feel that it is relatively user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The downside of Doceri is that sometimes that app can crash or be difficult to open on your computer. I use a PC, and sometimes the Doceri landing page will disappear, and clicking on any icon will not open it. It turns out it is still open but has moved to another location on the taskbar at the bottom of my screen. Once I figured that out, it was easy to remember. It would help if you also had a pretty good stylus, but a fair trade-off for the benefits this app provides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The many different pens colors and functions make it really easy to create a fun interactive presentation Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a little limited in its features. There are a few things it is missing like text typing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
