## About DNS Doctor
DNS Doctor is an email deliverability and DNS health scanner for small businesses, agencies, and MSPs. Paste a domain at dnsdoctor.dev and you get an instant report covering SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX, general DNS, blacklist status, and domain and SSL certificate expiry. The scan is free and requires no signup. What makes DNS Doctor different is how fixes are generated. Every recommended record comes from a deterministic engine that follows the published RFC grammar and validates the result, including the SPF 10-lookup limit. The AI layer only explains problems in plain English. It never writes the record itself, so you never paste a guessed record into your DNS. Nothing is changed automatically. You review every record and apply it yourself at your DNS provider. The paid Monitor plan adds continuous checks for up to 10 domains, DMARC aggregate (RUA) report ingestion with 12 months of history, and email alerts for record changes, verdict regressions, new sending sources, blacklist listings, and upcoming domain or SSL expiry, at a flat $12 per month. DNS Doctor also works with AI assistants. The same diagnostics are available through an MCP server and published plugins, with the same rule: records come from the validating engine, never from the model.
