The full training program consists of courses on pay-per-click advertising (PPC), search engine optimization (SEO), conversion rate optimization (CRO), and analysis & optimization. Across these 4 modules, there are over 40 lessons, each containing interactive videos, written tutorials, quizzes, and downloadable tools & templates that make it super easy to take action. As a first time student into the field the course alone gave me a good direction on how to erect some fruitful campaigns. **What do you dislike about Directive Institute?** This is because I perceived it provided few strategies involving intricate data analysis methods. It is important to learn how to decipher a campaign level and/or more granular PPC data for the purpose of fine tuning and achieving greater ROI. **What problems is Directive Institute solving and how is that benefiting you?** This course enabled me to bypass a critical barrier of understanding the basics of PPC. I am pretty certain about the structuring of campaigns and the identification of the appropriate audiences. ### 2. The standing calls get everything on track **What do you dislike about Directive Institute?** Return on investment is one of the most difficult things to track in marketing. This is no different with using this agency for our needs where the value add feels like it is there but ROI is never guaranteed. **What problems is Directive Institute solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our marketing team needed assistance with solving some SEO issues. Directive was great to work with to set out a plan and execute what we would like with the SEO efforts. Also to bring this full circle and show attribution for closed deals ### 3. I loved how comprehensive it was. Though I've been working with PPC for a while, it provided a lot of helpful insider tips and tricks for greater success. Being newer to SEO, I appreciated that Jesse (the instructor) took it step by step, sharing the techniques, tools, and strategy that he and his team uses when creating a campaign. **What do you dislike about Directive Institute?** I have no critiques. The course not only lays the foundation for how to do PPC research, what works and what doesn't, but shows you exactly how to document your findings and turn them into actionable PPC ads. To boot, they practice what they preach. I use Directive as an agency for my PPC services and took this course to better understand their methodology. They apply exactly what they preach here to our PPC management, which has been very interesting to watch. **What do you dislike about Directive Institute?** While the individual videos are pretty meaty, some are super long in length. I feel like those could have been split up into smaller, more consumable videos, especially in the areas where they show exactly how to use a landing page tool or how to set up the foundation of a Google Ads campaign. **Recommendations to others considering Directive Institute:** Like any training course, to get the most out of it, set aside time to really dial into it. Directive Institute is very tactical and it shows you exactly how to set up your campaigns - it is not for someone who does not want to know how to set up a campaign step-by-step. With this being as tactical as it is, you'll need to ensure you already have access to your Google Ads account, a reasonable understanding of products and services you are pitching, and goals. You can work alongside the training to really get your campaigns set up well. **What problems is Directive Institute solving and how is that benefiting you?** The largest problem I solved for is how to streamline messaging and unique attributes into a easy to use spreadsheet. This allows for building of the PPC ads without going down a rabbit hole of solving for other items (e.g. it eliminates the noise).
