"Diplomat MFT: Seamless Secure File Transfers with Excellent Integrations"
5/5
What do you like best about Diplomat Managed File Transfer?

Diplomat MFT has helped us tremendously by moving files around our environment and by providing a secure SFTP portal for our customers, along with the added benefits of enhanced encryption. We have about 100 active jobs that run many times a day, and with this software I can truly set it up and forget it because it runs so smoothly.

The integrations are excellent—SharePoint, ShareFile, the local network, FTP, SFTP—you name it, and it supports it. The UI is also very user-friendly and gives a clear view of what’s going on at any given time. Onboarding was a breeze, and for the price, you just can’t beat it. Best software by far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Diplomat Managed File Transfer?

I can’t think of any dislikes. We’ve never run into an issue that we—or Diplomat Support—couldn’t fix. We rely on this for many critical things. One time the system went down hard and wouldn’t come back up, but Support answered the phone immediately, and within an hour we were back online. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure Transfers but Outdated Interface"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Diplomat Managed File Transfer?

I like the protocol flexibility and automated scheduling of Diplomat Managed File Transfer. The protocol flexibility is valuable because it supports every type of protocol our partners require, whether that's SFTP, AST, or older ones, without us having to maintain separate systems. This makes the confusing transfer protocols easy to manage. The automated scheduling is also fantastic; it handles our nightly reservation and inventory file transfers at a set time, ensuring our partners have current data every morning without manual intervention. The support team was also helpful during the setup, as we haven't had a missed transfer since going live, and when partners ask about data security, we now have a straightforward answer and can accommodate any transfer protocol they prefer. What do you dislike about Diplomat Managed File Transfer?

One aspect that doesn't work well for me is the interface, which feels outdated. It does the job, but navigating the screen feels like using software from 2000, and new team members take longer to get comfortable with it than I would like. Another issue is the partner onboarding time. Setting up new travel partners with their specific format and protocol requirements takes longer than expected, sometimes involving a support call to get the configuration exactly right. Additionally, getting our copartners migrated over took about six weeks due to each one having slightly different requirements, making the setup quite long due to these technicalities. "Streamlined File Transfers with Robust Security"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Diplomat Managed File Transfer?

I really like the predictable tiered pricing of Diplomat Managed File Transfer, unlike competitors that penalize with per user seats or per gigabyte fees. The flat pricing structure matches our budgeting, making it completely straightforward. The native Slack and Microsoft Teams webhooks are great, as they allow us to receive instant notifications and status updates when critical workflows fail, keeping our engineering team proactive without having to check email logs. I also appreciate the perimeter intelligence, built-in IP access control, and automatic threat intelligence, which block threatening IP addresses at the SFTP boundary before causing any harm to our file transfers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Diplomat Managed File Transfer?

What I don't really like is with the nested archive handling. While standard ZIP compression and extraction work reliably out of the box, handling multi-part CAF or complete nested subdirectories requires building multi-step transaction chains rather than using a single configuration rule. It is really confusing and takes time to make it happen. Also, configuring advanced transaction logic for custom file renaming conventions and IP-specific rules requires a brief learning curve before our team could deploy complex workflows into production. "Effortless File Transfer with Top-Tier Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Diplomat Managed File Transfer?

I like the ease of use and the ability to make changes to the file during the process. Sometimes a file generates a certain way and needs to be converted to a different file type or have a change like including a date or editing the file name. This is all done at once rather than having to run a script in task scheduler. The initial setup was super easy, with a thorough guide and helpful support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
