I've used it for various purposes — from managing a Web3 community to maintaining private and secure conversations. Its commitment to real privacy, without relying on big centralized services, is what makes it stand out. **What do you dislike about Diode Collab?** Honestly, there's nothing I dislike. Diode Collab is still in development, so some areas for refinement are expected — but in my experience, none of them have impacted usability or compromised data security. If I had to point out anything, it would be that it takes a while to fully understand how Zones work and how to take advantage of all their features—but nothing too complex. Once you get used to it, the experience is fluid and powerful. **What problems is Diode Collab solving and how is that benefiting you?** Diode Collab helps solve a major problem I hadn’t even realized I had: relying on centralized platforms for communication and file sharing without thinking about data exposure. It has made our team become more efficient while helping us integrate top security practices. I would say it takes very little time to get used to the platform. If we do run into a question, they have a rich help docs repository and active support team. Top recommendation for easy to implement secure collaboration. **What do you dislike about Diode Collab?** The solution has so much functionality that it can be hard to know how to take advantage of it all right away. We have been pleased with Diode's support in helping us integrate more over time, but initially we just eased into it by using DMs, team channels, and files. **What problems is Diode Collab solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were desiring to create a secure collaboration environment for our remote team working from around the world. Diode has made it possible for us to work on sensitive data without concerns of it being vulnerable to hacks of third-party cloud solutions or possibly losing IP to information requests. ### 3. No servers. No data on someone else's server. Also, for IT people, you can remotely access secure dashboards and do end-to-end encrypted integrations to business tools. **What do you dislike about Diode Collab?** It feels more like Slack than like Signal or Telegram, so it is a bit harder to use. Some of the join actions (e.g. join a friend's Zone) take longer than other tools. **What problems is Diode Collab solving and how is that benefiting you?** No data on servers. This helps for sensitive information like financial and identification information - I would never send that information over Telegram or Slack, but Diode Collab's serverless model makes it possible. ### 4. They also make not claims on or have access to any of our data, alowing for file sharing without worry. **What do you dislike about Diode Collab?** As a startup there are still a few things that aren't quite in place, but they are rolling out new features regularly and respond well to user requests and feedback. **What problems is Diode Collab solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed a secure way to communciate and share files globally. Diode was the only prodect we found that we trusted because it was not cloud based, they made no claims on our data, and they opperate through the block chain meaning it is unhackable. ### 7.
