No complaints from my attorneys, and believe me, they'd complain if there was a problem! **What problems is Digital WarRoom solving and how is that benefiting you?** De-duplication of emails and marking for privilege and relevance and production of documents with an index is user friendly format. In Digital War Room I was able to load over 200 GB of email, create and report on a number of keyword scenarios and email analysis very quickly. In most recent case I culled the data to under 20 GB for a bill of only $250! The support team is incredible and provided quick answers to questions and lots of training. We were able to quickly load opposing data using wizard, and making our productions was simple and quick. We have used a few other platforms in the past 2 years, but Digital War Room is head and shoulders above the rest in ease of searching, tagging, and production. **What do you dislike about Digital WarRoom?** I haven’t found any yet, like every eDiscovery offering, it may not be perfect, but it is very functional for our needs. Definitely want to use 2 monitors as Digital War Room has lots of data on screen. **What problems is Digital WarRoom solving and how is that benefiting you?** We review thousands of emails for production in federal court. This platform greatly speeds our coding and production, reducing our spend on hosted services and shortening the time to comply with discovery orders. It would be vastly preferable to have it autorenew like most other services out there, without any need for direct customer involvement. **What problems is Digital WarRoom solving and how is that benefiting you?** DWR puts the power back in our hands when it comes to discovery, allowing us to host and interact with our own files directly, and produce them in-house without having to pay anyone else to do it. It has fully paid for itself and then some, savings us thousands of dollars every year. ### 5. The cloud based e-discovery platforms are convenient, but we work with massive libraries of data and the hosting fees get out of control when you're hosting TBs of information. **What do you dislike about Digital WarRoom?** Most of the time, DWR takes in and processes files without issue, but there are times when a particular file will give it fits, especially when it comes to OCRing and imaging. When that happens you have to go to the support staff, who I know are overworked, but sometimes response times are long and when you are running through the basic troubleshooting tasks with an hour or more gap between each interaction, it can take a while to find and fix a problem. **What problems is Digital WarRoom solving and how is that benefiting you?** The most useful aspect of DWR is its ability to process huge tranches of data without any issue probably 98% of the time, which is pretty good considering how many file types are out there. Then being able to sort and filter by metadata is a huge time saver. ### 6. They respond quickly and helpfully to my questions, even on weekends. Furthermore, the upgrades they've made over the years genuinely have improved software performance, usability, and reliability. DWR is just a great product! **What do you dislike about Digital WarRoom?** Reviewer operations can be sluggish at times, and it seems related to document display functions. When I've checked resources, I've been surprised to see how little RAM the software uses, which makes me wonder whether it's taking full advantage of the available resources. However, some of the delays may have more to do with our host platform. A simple restart usually solves application slowdowns. **What problems is Digital WarRoom solving and how is that benefiting you?** They keep improving the interface to make it more intuitive for users, which requires less training. On the back end, processing time has gotten quicker for functions that used to take all night, like OCR. ### 8. Have available all materials. If documents are password-protected, you will also have to securely upload the passwords to each file to them. If you are unsure, they will provide a list to you in the process as they identify them, so you can get back to them with it. **What problems is Digital WarRoom solving and how is that benefiting you?** Bates Numbering is the biggest one. It's a great solution for small to medium-sized law offices/firms who's clients and dollars at issue are lower than big firms. **What do you dislike about Digital WarRoom?** I work on a Mac, so having to log in to virtual desktop is a bit of a headache, esp if I haven't used the program in a while because I forget how to do it. Would be great to have easier log-in from Mac. I also found it challenging to handle propagation (is that the word for when similar items would be automatically tagged)? It felts a little too aggressive but team members at another firm sharing database liked it. It was especially challenging when I it tagged an attachment which affected whole family and then if I changed parent, it changed all instances of that attachment. **What problems is Digital WarRoom solving and how is that benefiting you?** DWR allows me to manage clients' discovery process all on my own (with assistance from DWR). It's powerful, but not so powerful that I need to rely on folks at e-discovery vendors to do the work for me (and eat clients' discovery budgets). With a short training, it is very easy to navigate all of the features and customize all of the platform's tools to fit your needs. The documents are also well organized within the system from the outset and easily searchable. Even more, the support staff has always been extremely helpful and readily accessible to problem solve any issues. **What do you dislike about Digital WarRoom?** There are not many negatives I have come across, but as with any software, there is always room for improvement. Some of the features of the platform and services offered are also a la carte, which is beneficial from a pricing standpoint, but requires more specific knowledge of the platform's full capabilities at the outset so you can ensure you have everything you need. **Recommendations to others considering Digital WarRoom:** Make sure that you request everything you need up front, to the extent you know what you will need, so it can all be included in one package. **What problems is Digital WarRoom solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have made somewhat complex requests related to a large document review, which DWR was always very accommodating of. Notably, they took the time to brainstorm through these issues with me and figured out ways the software could support these complex requests, which obviously has been an outstanding benefit. The team has also been very flexible in terms of scheduling and preparing for large document productions. ### 34. It may lack some of the more advanced algorithmic concept review tools that are seen in larger competitors, but it is a solid, affordable workhorse for small and mid sized projects. **What problems is Digital WarRoom solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am currently using the Pro Version of DWR in house in order to process and review discovery quickly and affordably. Whenever I have had any technical issue, or needed additional support, the DWR team has been quick and knowledgeable in providing the necessary assistance, and have never let me down. ### 40.
