We use Didit at Quansa to verify users before sensitive financial actions, such as their first withdrawal. What we value most is the flexibility to combine document verification, liveness and facial matching in a workflow that integrates directly with our app and communicates decisions through webhooks.

Its broad document and nationality coverage is especially important for us because we serve frontline workers across Latin America, including immigrants and people using less common documents. We have successfully used it with Brazilian identity documents and recently expanded our flow to support residence permits.

The workflow configuration also gives us useful control over which cases can be approved automatically and which should go to manual review. Most of the friction appears in exception handling. Occasionally, a verification is approved in Didit but the user remains blocked in our product because the status or device relationship has not synchronized as expected. Some users have also needed to repeat the process, while unclear OCR or facial-match results can increase manual-review work. Some of this may be related to our integration, but clearer webhook diagnostics, more explicit failure reasons, and stronger balance and service-continuity safeguards would save our technical and support teams time. What I like best about Didit is how easy it is to integrate and how complete the workflow builder is. The API and SDKs are straightforward to implement, with clear documentation that gets you up and running quickly without a lot of back-and-forth. Beyond the integration itself, the workflow builder stands out, it lets us design full identity verification flows end to end, combining steps like document verification, liveness, and AML checks into a single customizable process without needing custom code for each variation. This flexibility has saved our team significant development time and made it much easier to adapt the verification flow to different use cases as our requirements change. So far, the only thing I've found missing is that the manipulation/tampering check on the document requires a live photo capture, without the option to upload an existing image or file of the document instead. This can be limiting in scenarios where a pre-scanned or previously captured document would be more practical to use for that verification step. There are no major drawbacks from our perspective. Sometimes the verification rejects a document simply because the CPF isn’t legible or doesn’t appear clearly on it, even when everything else checks out (the document is valid, the photo matches, and the identity is confirmed). I like the quick integration of Didit with my system, it is relatively easy, and it is not necessary to have extensive technical knowledge. Additionally, communication with the support and business team is quite good. One of its great advantages compared to its competitors is the ability to start operating without the need for a large initial investment.
