What do you like best about Dictation Daddy?

DictationDaddy is a highly accurate alternative to Dragon dictation, and its cost is also a lot less than Dragon dictation.

I found it very helpful in formatting my email, etc. It automatically detects that I am sending an email and formats it well, saving me the painful edits that it takes to format an email.

The accuracy is very high. It works everywhere on any input field. There are no restrictions.

And the best part is that training a new word is not hard. You just add the word as a keyword in the dictionary, and from the next time the word will be correctly transcribed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dictation Daddy?

The current downside is that sometimes it detects the language incorrectly, but that is workable by selecting a language from the dropdown. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Dictation Daddy solving and how is that benefiting you?

DictationDaddy solves the following problem for me:

1. Formatting – I can just share my thoughts and it formats them well.

2. High accuracy – existing tools like Dragon Dictation have very low accuracy, and this tool is awesome in terms of accuracy.

3. Training a new word – adding a new word is super easy; just add that word to the dictionary and it remembers for the next time.

What do you like best about Dictation Daddy?

When it comes to an app that's easy to use, Dictation Daddy, even though it has a quirky name, is a very functional tool that requires very little thinking. Once it becomes part of your daily workflow, it's second nature to use and utilize for almost everything. And surprisingly enough, this was written with Dictation Daddy. What problems is Dictation Daddy solving and how is that benefiting you?

As someone with a fairly large vocabulary but with dyslexia, my ability to type my desired response to emails or to draft emails is quite difficult. With Dictation Daddy, I'm able to use my vocabulary and my passion to convey what I want to say in a way that's honest and true to who I am. What do you like best about Dictation Daddy?

DictationDaddy makes it possible to accurately dictate and format input coherently. There's nothing novel about that in itself; however, DD brings this functionality to the desktop, allowing system-wide use through an easily accessible shortcut.
