I was able to import complex CAD data successfully into Illustrator easily. **What do you dislike about DeskPack?** Something unfortunate about DeskPack is that it is quite sensitive when it comes to handling large and complex files. I have had it crash and freeze on me a couple of times, particularly when applying complex packaging structures. **What problems is DeskPack solving and how is that benefiting you?** The use of DeskPack in my packaging design process has made it a very important utility tool that I will not do without. These I caught its features so neatly for trapping and CAD import are so useful and valuable. ### 2. Importing models from Illustrator is very easy and fast, editing is flexible so we can deal with all types of covers and different sizes. Preparing for printing is direct. I liked DeskPack's ability to show the details of the barcode clearly and easily readable. **What do you dislike about DeskPack?** There is nothing that can be considered negative at all, but editing is smoother using devices with powerful processors, and if they are not available, the user will face some delay. **What problems is DeskPack solving and how is that benefiting you?** With DeskPack, we have brought the package covers to the printing stage with high efficiency, while preserving all the colors and details of the basic design. ### 3. The import of complex CAD data is very simple when working with Illustrator; the trapping tools help me avoid main errors in packaging design. **What do you dislike about DeskPack?** I sometimes experience some glitches with respect to the handling of big and complex files. These glitches will make the application lock or stall and end up freezing, I have always had to shut and possibly, may end up losing unsaved work. **What problems is DeskPack solving and how is that benefiting you?** DeskPack eliminates the need for a prepress software in packaging design and brings it all into my comfortable Adobe. The fact that I receive CAD data in illustrator with all the rules intact already saves me tons of time doing conversion. **What do you dislike about DeskPack?** When it comes to heavy CAD data, AutoCAD DeskPack appears to have some constraints as to file size. I have found problems in complex large design with more detailing beyond the computational ability of the software. **What problems is DeskPack solving and how is that benefiting you?** I find that DeskPack has improved the way I package my products in prepress. I have no idea how I managed without it in the past. Having come from a Packedge background, I was limited to using Illustrator in my new work **What do you dislike about DeskPack?** The membership is expensive, and since technical expertise and experience are required to completely integrate with your sector, there may be additional implementation costs that you were unaware of. **What problems is DeskPack solving and how is that benefiting you?** I advise them to lower the cost of packaging so that we can serve a larger number of users. ### 8. It is planned to save you a lot of trouble, errors and most of all, work. **What do you dislike about DeskPack?** The membership is costly and may have additional costs of implementation that you may not have in mind because technical skills and knowledge are needed to incorporate fully into your industry. **What problems is DeskPack solving and how is that benefiting you?** Esko automation engine is helping us immensely in reducing the prepress work. Working on all the repetitive tasks, homologating all our formats and reviewing all errors you may have. ### 10. I am not sure how I did it before without it. I come from a Packedge background, and when I started a new job that only had Illustrator, I thought, where is this and that. Then I talked my company into getting Deskpack, and it made it so much easier. Now we have 3 seeds of it. **What do you dislike about DeskPack?** The price is a little bit to get used to.
