I appreciate Denodo for solving the problem of data replication by providing virtualization, which eliminates the need to store data for transformation. I love the way it handles data securely, allowing implementation of user-based, role-based, and row & column level restrictions. The simple 3 C principle - Connect, Combine, and Consume - is also a standout feature for me. I find it easy to work with Denodo, as all the options available make my work efficient and effective. Denodo shines with mid-to-large datasets, but when you hit extreme 'Big Data' scales (petabytes of data or thousands of complex concurrent joins), performance can dip. Significant performance tuning (caching, query rewriting, and 'push-down' optimization) which can be technically exhausting to get right. It often feels like a desktop application ported to the web.
